There were many schools offering the coding expirience, and through talking with alumni and reviews online Wyncode was the best option to take. I enjoyed the teaching and curriculum was given, also the support was genuine and all the staff actually cared about my learning. Another thing I enjoyed was the people who joined. We were all on the same page and wanted to be the best we could be, not only with learning to code well but just giving all that we could. When being around like minded indiviuals it's really a boost for moral.

I attended this course 10 weeks ago. I had very little knowledge of code and how to write in certain languages. I am excited to have achieved and accomplished so much in the last 10 weeks. Trade schools such as Wyncode provide all the tools necessary to succeed, however, it is your responsibility to hustle. Go out there and show what you're worth in order to get what you're worth.

Learn to be comfortable at being uncomfortable. Put in the hours and you'll reap the rewards that this school has to offer.

I am really grateful for the life changing resources Wyncode provided me in 2018. It seems like not to long ago when I was reading through these reviews praying for an opportunity to change my career, and here I am today. I graduated in July & was able to start my new career in November with a QA role. It was a privilege to learn coding, growth mindset, and about the tech ecosystem from an amazing team that has a contagious passion for what they do. My onboarding was smooth & possible thanks to Matt & Don. Had amazing instruction from Austin, Tim, Angel, Patricio and Andy. Had a ton of support and resources provided during the post graduation job hunt by Miguel, Beto, Milad, Kip, Johanna, and Juha. If you are considering making a career change this could be really your opportunity. Try learning a little about Object Oriented Programming while considering if this is for you(CodeAcademy has free beginner courses); Wyncode often has workshops that let you test the waters. Also, landing a job after graduation is not like magic, it requires patience, diligence, and a continual lifestyle of learning & coding. Prepare yourself financially should you decide to set apart this time in your life to change your career. Most importantly do all your prework & more. I have nothing but positive things to say about BrainStation! I took Social Media Marketing and loved it.  The learning environment is dynamic and collaborative. We worked in groups to develop social media campaigns that mirrored real-world projects of the same nature. Our instructor, Francesca, was a social media marketing expert who taught us the skills we would need to succeed in this field. She was always available for questions, help and support.  I highly recommend this course and BrainStation for anyone who wants practical, hands-on experience that will prep them for the real world.

I had a fantastic experience at Wyncode academy. The curriculum is designed around building real working projects and getting your hands dirty. For someone with very little modern coding experience (I'd only built a few HTML sites in the days of AOL & dialup), it was somewhat jarring to dive in head first, and my brain felt like a fried egg at first. As you progress through the course, though, it all starts to click. All in all, I would say that it was appropriately grueling in the best way. The instructors are brilliant and teaching assistants are knowledgable and always readily available to help you wrap your head around some of the more difficult concepts. The space is open 24 hours a day for current students who may want to hang around and code all night, as it can sometimes be distracting to work at home.

The highlight, however, is the amazing post-graduation career support. I have heard from graduates of other bootcamps that they learned a lot, but after graduation they were sent out into the industry with a pat on the back and very little assistance. Wyncode has a phenomenal network of hiring partners in South Florida (and a few abroad) who have hired many of their graduates, and that list continues to grow. The career support team is also very attentive and dedicated to help every graduate that is looking for work.

One last note is that Wyncode truly does feel like a tight-knit community or, perhaps, a family (at the risk of sounding overly sentimental). You will undoubtedly meet the founders of Wyncode during your time there, and they will help you with advice and even reaching out to employers on your behalf. All in all, this was a great experience and more personal than some of the bigger bootcamp "franchises" that open up shop all over the world.

I just finished the 10 week Fulll Stack Web Development course and it was an amazing experience! I can't believe how much I learned in such a short amount of time. When they say full time, they're talking on the low end. Clear your schedule for the 10 weeks because you will eat, sleep, and breathe coding. This is without a doubt the hardest thing I've ever done, but it was 100% worth it, and the Wynfam connections you make are worth the price alone. If you're looking for something that will push and improve you, you're looking at the right place. Can't recommend it hightly enough!

My instructors Stewart and Tayber) were thorough and as comprehensive as possible. When asked for more critical and in-depth feedback, they were willing to oblige to make us better at our newly-learned skills.
I found the course content to be reasonable (even less than expected), given that the parttime course was held once a week for 10 weeks. 
The BrainStation community itself was relaxed and inclusive, I certainly didn't feel uncomfortable or pressured into any sort of "networking" that I wasn't ready for. Being an introvert, it's important for me to be able to come in and learn right away without small talk. BrainStation offers this environment. 
I would recommend this course to a friend or colleague seeking advancement in their product management skills and knowledge, especially if they didn't have much time to devote to a full-time course.

I started Wyncode in early August of this year. I can honestly say I've never learned so much from a school in such a short amount of time. Before starting the course, I had never had any programming experience. My background is in music and I was skeptical about how much could really be taught about a subject in just 10 weeks. This school is doing a great service by teaching these skills, and the instructors they have on staff are so articulate and thorough that they make the material easy to learn. I would highly recommend that anyone who is interested in learning to code look into Wyncode and reach out to some of the staff, students, and alumni!

Wyncode is just amazing! or should I say WYNTASTIC!!!!! The whole program is tailored to help us learn the necessary skills for the current tech scene. The WHOLE team is ery supportive and I can honestly say that I am impressed at the way they hae set up the logical increase in dificulty. I took Brainstation’s part-time Web Dev course.

For me BrainStation's Intro to Web Dev course seemed like a great option to dip my toes into the world of HTML and CSS. Taking a full-fledged coding bootcamp felt way to risky, given the fact that I have never coded/worked in the industry before.

The course is geared towards people with little to no experience in coding, but I would say that a tiny bit of knowledge of HTML would probably be helpful in the beginning, but not entirely necessary, as the first couple of classes are dedicated to going over the basics.
 
The course is taught by people currently working in the industry which allows them to be able to relate the content to real life examples from their day to day activities, in turn making the course feel much more grounded in reality.
 
Each class has a hands-on project which I found to be key to quickly understand each concept covered throughout the "lecture". Instructors go over the projects to clarify any questions and are always available to help and guide through finding a solution if you are stuck.
 
It has been remarkable to me to see how far I have gotten in just 10 weeks. I went from only knowing a few bits of HTML elements - but not well enough to create even a basic site - to having actually created a site to be used as my resume, it works well and looks professional, something that I wouldn't be embarrassed to show to others.

At first I was a bit apprehensive about doing an online course, I thought it might be a bit impersonal, but the technology used for the Online Live programs at BrainStation broke down all the barriers I was worried about. I could interact with the teachers and the other students easily using breakout rooms, and any question I had that I didn't feel comfortable asking the entire class I could ask in Slack and one of the teachers would respond to it quickly so the flow of the class wasn't disrupted. 

The teachers were so knowledgable about the content they were presenting, and provided real work experiences wherever they could. It felt like I was not only learning the content but also how its applied in the real world. 

This course was thoroughly enjoyable and a great foundation for continued learning and I even feel comfortable applying to careers in the industry.

I graduated recently from the part-time UI design course at BrainStation's Vancouver campus and I can say these ten weeks flew by amazingly quick! Before starting the program I had been juggling several online courses for UX/UI design, which wasn't something that was working for me, as I felt overwhelmed with the wealth of information on the web, and felt unsure if I was learning enough of the right concepts. I think that if you're somebody who thrives under a more structured learning environment, then BrainStation will definitely enable you to get to where you'd like to be. Despite coming from a background completely unrelated to computer science or design, and starting from basically zero, I finished the course with a great portfolio piece and a solid proficiency in programs like Sketch and InVision, which are industry standard tools used in today's companies. 

The class was small (around 8 people) so you really get an intimate learning experience and lots of one-to-one time with the instructor, who was incredibly insightful and supportive. She makes an effort to touch base with all her students during each class and takes the time to help us through Slack if we ever need her outside of class. Each week's lesson is packed with information, but what I found most useful were the industry relevant anecdotes that Kelsey, our instructor, gave during her lessons.

We learned about visual design, wireframing, and prototyping. The entire program is designed around the final project, which is something you start working on from Week 2. 

I would strongly recommend BrainStation to anyone who's looking to dive into the field, kickstart a new career, or even reacquaint themselves with UI concepts relevant to today's rapidly evolving industry. The skills you pick up really gives you the confidence to go forward in the next steps in your design career.
