I did the PM course with the idea of ​​improving and getting new knowledge that applies to my project Startup: @eXplorins. And after 10 weeks I learned and got everything I was looking for: understanding process, executions, prioritizing, roles, managemet and tools. A course hand in hand by professional women on the field. 

Now I have a better knowledge of the role of a PM and I started to apply all that to my project from day 1.

I did the Artificial Immersive Progam (Data Science) to learn about data, machine learning, statistics... With no technical background, it has been a truly challenging, amazing experience. The content, the labs and the community of women in technology that AllWomen is creating, is fantastic! I recommend it to all my friends.

Course is great if you are developing your own product. It helps you go deep into the different aspects involved. If you are not familiar with the thech and startup world, thiw course will make you feel conforable when talking about concepts like Agile, Scrum, Sprints... Good teachers and methodology plus the fact that the school itself has been created to empower women in tech: it's a course for women from women.

This was one of the most challenging courses I’ve ever taken — but also one of the most rewarding. The pace was intense, and there were moments I doubted myself, but I came out of it with a deeper understanding of UX and, more importantly, a newfound confidence in myself. I had an amazing experience, with wonderful instructors who taught us the basics and important skills of product management. They created a wonderful and safe environment, all the while exposing us to real world problems through breakout room exercises and our final projects. Read less

Pros: I really appreciated being able to have the option to do a Bootcamp that is only for women. 
Most of the instructors were great! 
I loved the women in my cohort and the TAs for the first half were helpful and so encouraging.
The LinkedIn feedback was useful and I've been able to grow my network so much, largely due to allwomen alumni.

Cons: The course was a bit disorganized. The instructors change on an almost weekly basis, so things felt chaotic at times. The notebooks that we all downloaded at the beginning of the course were often altered, so we had to spend extra time redownloading those and making sure everything worked in the altered versions at the beginning of most of the classes. A couple of the instructors were just ok.
I don't think a majority of people who do the data science course without already having some kind of STEM background are likely to get a job in DS as a result of this Bootcamp. The DS course is really the 3 month Analytics course with an additional 3 months of DS. Three months is just not a realistic timeframe to learn enough to get a DS job if you aren't switching from another STEM field. The slides mention things like p-values, hypothesis testing errors, t-tests, etc, but it's very brief and glossed over. These are things that get asked about in technical interviews! And sure, you are not going to be expected to do a bunch of linear algebra or calculate the standard deviation BY HAND, but should you know how to? If you want a DS job, I think it's pretty obvious the answer is yes, if you want to succeed in DS. You will be competing for DS jobs with people who have PhDs... It's a tough market!
The breakout room format only works when you are there for short periods of time and if there is at least one other person in the room with you that is willing to talk. 

A major reason I chose this Bootcamp was the job fair. It was incredibly disappointing. I don't think a single person from my cohort was hired- they were all looking for people with more experience. We were not included in the DA hiring event, but to my knowledge, the experience was about the same. 

I think they may have realized the DS course just isn't working well since it doesn't look like they are still offering it on the website. Probably for the best. Most of our cohort didn't make it through to the end of the course.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend the DS course, but I would recommend the DA one. Several of the DA girls have landed entry level analyst roles. If you want to be more competitive, take a couple math and/or stats classes at your local uni if you can. Focus more on SQL. Learn Tableau, PowerBI, or looker. Read less

AllWomen's staff  is very kind, helpful and approachable. The teachers are greta, they have qualifications and expertise on their respective fields.
I did the remote UX - UI bootcamp and was happy to see how they took into account the student's opinion to improve the online classes.
On a remote environment is easier to isolate and get stuck on the process, they assign a mentor that is helpful in this situations.
The UX-UI the projects are developed using the design sprint/design thinking methodology, which seems to very popular among companies.
I also like the fact that they have a hiring week. 
The curriculum was good. Particularly I just missed more classes on user flow/interactions with practical exercises for our own projects. 
I'm happy with my final project. I would recommend it to any women wanting a career change. Read less
