I really enjoyed sharing something I love (my town, Mitla!) in my final project. I'm surprised I could make something so polished after three weeks! Well, it's self-paced so more like two weeks for me. It's comparable in content to the Odin Project but unlike that site SheCodes is very direct and practical and almost all the content is on the SheCodes site. SheCodes offers mostly video demonstrations with transcripts and code examples. You learn on the site, you are not directed to learn thru links to offsite learning resources, although it is suggested to do further searching to bolster learning and links with resources are offered. There is very little fluff: no history of the internet beyond a brief summary. If you want something practical, direct, and efficient, this is it. The slack channel and LinkedIn networking are alive and well: this is very attractive if you are trying to build a network. It's also very international, not US-focused.

SheCodes Basics
I highly recommend SheCodes for girls who want to switch jobs. The information was completely new to me but Matt could explain it easier for understanding. I was excited about doing my homework every time. Almost every exercise was with a bonus task where you should use your googling skills and logic.

The best spot to start
I liked the sequence of teaching. Maybe the information is not very detailed, but the main things are highlighted and the materials provided, you can find what you need. I even can't wish for more in a short time.

Best way to start!
Despite the fact, that I am a fully beginner on IT sphere, It was really fun and easy to understand first basic steps with Matt. I love that we have a lot of practice, but it's also really important to know the theory. Highly recommended to try! Already finished SheCodes basic and now I'm learning with SheCodes plus, really exciting to make new project.

From someone who has always branded themselves as "not techy", this course has proven me wrong! The SheCodes basics course has provided me with a fantastic introduction to HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I can't believe how much I've learnt in such a short space of time and am so proud of myself for what I have produced in my end project. I have loved the flexibility of being able to do all the lessons in my own time around my job and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone who wants to have a go at coding.

Absolutely worth it!
I've finished the SheCodes Basics course and totally content with it, everything is explained clearly, challenges throughout the course helped a lot, as well as the community and SheCodes team support, which always reply quickly. Just started the SheCodes Plus course and already can see how much I've improved comparing to 3 weeks ago! Definitely recommend!

I attended a free SheCodes class at a really low point in the pandemic for my mental health. After the free workshop, I became increasingly interested in the career possibilities of a switch to working in tech. The flexibility of SheCodes allows me to work toward a dedicated goal, without entirely consuming my life. My favorite part of the workshops are the fact that they're skill-based: you have a quick video lesson, then you get to go have fun with a coding task. In said task, you get to see how your learning comes to fruition through practice, practice, practice AND you get to create! The SheCodes team is always there to help you reflect on your process and offer support when you need it. Looking forward to more! Thanks Matt and the SheCodes team, for everything

Love it!
It is an incredible experience, easy to learn with short video explanations and after that a challenge or homework that gives you the opportunity to immediately practice what you learned. They have a staff that answers your questions fairly quickly. We have a chat community with all the students and staff and help each other in anything that we need.
