I was extremely worried starting the program because I had a previous bad experience with another SE Bootcamp called FlatIron because they didn't actually teach you any lessons in the bootcamp and only offered minimum support for learning the concepts, so I wasn't sure what to expect going into Code Platoon's program. However, I had absolutely no reason to worry because Code Platoon is far superior to the other bootcamp and the staff genuinely care about their students and will put the time in to make sure you understand the topics and concepts. The instructors presented the lectures in ways that made it easy to follow and ask questions and if you didn't understand they'd break the concept down a different way to help make it clear. They always encouraged questions and class participation and were always available to offer assistance to students if you are struggling. I felt as though they really cared about ensuring each one of us in our cohort was successful in the program. They also offer a robust curriculum that prepares you with the fundamentals as well as languages such as Django, PostgreSQL, Flask, React, etc. We also always had TAs available to help us during class hours and after hours to ensure we weren't getting stuck on problems or issues. During the program they also setup Beyond Tech Talks and brought in employers to prepare us for topics we needed to know going into a tech career. Finally, their Career Services and Job Assistance also goes above and beyond as they incorporate several topics like behavioral interviews, technical interviews, job search best practices, etc to make sure we are prepared for job searching as soon as we complete the program. We also got to talk to employers like Google and DFR to learn about interviewing process best practices and what to expect in your first role. During the program they also set you up with a mentor and a volunteer resume coach to offer you additional support and resources. Code Platoon truly goes above and beyond to make sure their students are setup for success. As I stated above, this bootcamp is top notch and by far the best bootcamp out there for active duty military members and their families, as well as veterans and their families. I'm so grateful I was given the opportunity to complete this bootcamp. They also offer a variety of ways to pay for the program so you have flexibility. You won't regret attending this bootcamp!Yellow Tail Tech

It’s crazy how fast time flew by because we were so busy, but it was an amazing journey. I’m really glad I took this step. Moving into the tech field is helping me achieve a better worklife balance, which was my main goal. I love learning new things, and in tech, you're constantly learning. It’s a good field to be in.My instructors have been wonderful as well. They’re always there for us, whether through Messenger or extra Zoom meetings.The networking class was awesome, I never thought I’d be interested in networking, but I really enjoyed it. Ricky, my instructor, broke everything down in a way that you can understand.I’m just getting started with the apprenticeship, and it’s so far, so good. I’m working on tickets now, and I think the apprenticeship will allow us to gain access to more tools and improve our troubleshooting skills. I had been a hairstylist for fifteen years and had absolutely zero tech experience, but had been curious about it for about five years--especially seeing how my friends in the industry were thriving financially. I liked that the program was fully online but that there were scheduled, structured classes along with flexible scheduled group work time, along with work that you did on your own schedule. The program not only sets you up for success tech-wise, but the career support and staff in general are invaluable. Between the technical training, the full-stack projects you build, the experience you get working with actual clients, and the interview and resume coaching, you really are positioned to land that first job within the first few months (or sooner--I had many cohort-mates that landed jobs while they were still in the program!). It took me about five weeks of interviewing after I graduated to receive two job offers. I accepted a position at a small software consulting agency in Minneapolis and happily celebrated my one-year anniversary at this month. The work is incredibly social and creative, and the risk was absolutely worth the reward. It's rare to leave a career of fifteen years and experience a significant increase in income with your first job in the new field, and my annual raise after one year was right around 15%! I can work from home as much or as little as I like which is a HUGE plus, I love the flexibility. If you are considering a bootcamp and want to land your first job in the Minneapolis area especially (their connections to the job market here are so valuable, although I think they would set you up for success no matter where you are located), Prime is absolutely worth the investment. - 119Reviews6CoursesMAX is an Information Technology upskilling and reskilling business that offers over 600 part-time and full-timeclass offerings, including Cyber Security, Fu... I did a lot of researching when deciding which bootcamp to attend. I decided on this one because the languages and Stack aligned with my desired list of technologies I wanted to learn. However, I received so much more than I expected. My Instructors were, and have been very attentive to all of my questions and struggles. My career coach has guided me every step of the way through job search. She has always been available when I need to talk. The staff as a whole is nothing but attentive and supportive. And even though I have completed my training and career search, they are still there for me. As I am starting my new and first role as a software developer, my instructor is supporting me through my required learning. When they say they support you and give you every tool available to succeed, they mean it. I cannot say enough good things about them. I will also mention that I was a virtual student in a class of in-person students. The instructors made sure that I was included in all class interactions and exercises. I have made so many friends and connections through this experience. I found TTS through a local networking event where a regional representative told me about the bootcamps offered, and I decided to enroll in the Full Stack Web Development course. I had the absolute best time in this course! I learned so much about front-end and back-end development including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as well as specialized frameworks to create beautiful web pages and interactive applications. The back-end education and concepts we went over during our object-oriented programming in Java section were also incredibly valuable to me since I do not have a computer science degree. Overall, I would definitely recommend TTS to others who want to change careers or supplement their knowledge because the comprehensive nature of the bootcamp really allowed me to feel confident saying that I am now a full stack developer. Also the TTS community is extremely friendly, and they have been wonderful on a personal level. The Bridge

Overall, the bootcamp is great - you learn a lot in a short amount of time. I would recommend a bootcamp if you are in a hurry to change careers. That being said, LHL is not responsible for the overarching job market / economic climate. When I graduated every tech giant was doing mass layoffs. Bear that in mind before making a decision. Nothing is guaranteed. After a total of 8 months (which includes 3months of bootcamp) i finally landed a junior dev role. And I was lucky. That being said, the support from career services was good. They help where they can. If I were to use an analogy: they are a passenger in the car you are driving. Is it worth the money? I'm not sure. I think that they do a lot of behind-the-scenes work that indirectly benefited me.
Overall, if you are passionate about tech and want to start your career, give it a go. Life is too short.
For curriculum I would prefer not spending a week on Ruby. I think the curriculum would be better served with an extra week with React or learning Typescript. Pivoting out of Javascript for a week didn't feel worth it to me. On top of that none of the TAs who picked up my request-tickets knew the language. The only fringe benefit of the Ruby week was that it was nice to see the MVC approach.- 92Reviews8CoursesCCS Learning Academy offers online bootcamps in Cybersecurity Specialist Certification (8 weeks), Data Analytics & Business Intelligence (8 weeks), Data ... As a fresher, I took the time to research various institutions, and I found that many of them enroll large numbers of students per batch, often neglecting individual student needs. This led me to choose MTT Bootcamp, where the batches are limited to 15-20 students. This allows for a more personalized learning experience, with dedicated mentors who provide guidance on every aspect of our education, including conducting mock interviews that are incredibly beneficial.
What I appreciate most about Manzoor Sir teaching style is his exceptional ability to simplify complex concepts, making them accessible and easy to understand. His focus on practical applications and hands-on learning ensures that we can effectively apply what we've learned in real-world scenarios. Thankfully, I did not face any challenges during the boot camp; the supportive environment and structured approach made the learning process smooth.
I highly recommend MTT Bootcamp as the best option for anyone looking to develop technical skills. They offer numerous facilities, including interview preparation through mock interviews conducted by experienced professionals. With mentors readily available to help resolve any issues, and with Manzoor Sir explaining each topic in a way that is both clear and understandable, joining MTT Bootcamp has proven to be an invaluable step in my educational journey. I was listening to podcasts about it, taking classes, watching videos, and staying up way too late.
Last November I subbed for a guy at a theater who was leaving to take a coding bootcamp. I was like, wait, a what camp? You mean I can learn how to do this coding thing for real?
Last week I launched my app, built from the ground up in Java and Spring, with the things I learned from Coding Nomads. Feels great!
Coding Nomads has been great. I liked it so much that I started their Javascript course recently. Here's what the founder said about my capstone project: "Your capstone is among the best we've ever seen here at CodingNomads and we've worked with hundreds of students. So, job well done!"
My intention is not to leave pro audio, but I do see software development as my next career act. Ideally, I'd like to keep building Tracebook and SubAligner, while doing freelance development work for manufacturers, AV companies, and the live event industry.

Like everyone can image easily it is not easy but as I said I was decided already. Then I started to be data scientist and by a recommendation from one of the my friend who was student of TechPro Education - Tester course ( there is a lot of courses, I hope the full name is correct ). Than I met with TechPro and right now I am in the end of my course of Data Science. For first view I must to say that teachers are have a huge knowledge and the class is really friendly. Let me also preface this review by stating that other than knowing a bit of HTML / CSS, I have absolutely no coding knowledge or experience.
Before enrolling myself in their immersive full-time program, like you and many others… I did my research and tried to find any review or resource I could get my hands on about this school. When I stumbled upon CourseReport and saw all their 5 star reviews, the cynic in me couldn’t believe this boot camp (let alone one all the way in Hawaii) could achieve so many positive reviews, so naturally I assumed most were fake. It wasn’t until I personally met (or saw around school) a lot of these “rando” names that were being used on CourseReport, did in fact belong to actual people and these are genuine reviews from real DevLeague alumni.
Taking the plunge with DevLeague as my sidekick was a huge risk for me as I was working full-time in a non-tech job but one of the major deciding factors in choosing this coding bootcamp was the fact that I would be able to make this big career switch in just a few short months and I didn’t have to step foot out of Hawaii.
Being the premature baby dev that I was with no coding background, I enrolled in their JavaScript prep course so I could gain enough knowledge to submit my coding challenge entry. Vic was our main instructor during the 4-week prep course and he was (and still remains) one of my favorite people I’ve met through DevLeague. It’s hard to say *favorite* because honestly, pretty much everyone at DevLeague was awesome and I’m really glad to be a part of this community.
I remember when I first started attending prep class, I was really shocked (but impressed) with the sense of support and community from everyone at DL. Previous graduates would come back to help out or various alumni popped in to give some advice, even students from other classes would stop by to see how we were doing. Needless to say, I really felt the support system there and it’s obvious it trickled down from the top.
I wouldn’t be sitting here today, a DL graduate, if it weren’t for the help and support from Russel and Jason. I can’t count how many emails were passed between Russel and I before I started DevLeague. He was incredibly responsive and resourceful especially when I was going through the process to apply for scholarship, which I was generously awarded. I’m truly grateful for the opportunity they’ve given me.
It’s clearly impossible for me to write a shorter review, especially on something that has had such a big impact, but I’ll try to summarize my experience of the actual bootcamp program:
If you’re looking at the full-time program of 11 hour days, 6 days a week… it seems long, yes, but honestly it passes by pretty quickly especially since you’re jamming on code 70% of the time. My other classmates have the same view as me in this regard.
It’s extremely challenging. I felt so overloaded with information at times that I barely felt like I actually retained anything. That led to me asking myself “Did I make the right decision going through this program?” or “Maybe I’m not meant to be a developer?”
In the beginning, I felt like nothing made sense and it wasn’t until towards the tail end of bootcamp that the pieces started coming together to form a whole picture.
The curriculum is well thought out, projects on point for the topic and I enjoyed the humor in the slideshows. The readme docs are at times confusing (probably getting us used to reading real docs, lol) and some needed updates.
In the end, I wholeheartedly join in and agree with the others in saying “It was the best decision I made” career-wise and if you’re on fence about taking the course or want to ask me for more details about my experience, I’ll be more than happy to answer them for you… shoot me an email jennahscriptAToutlookDOTcom

My choice of Beetroot Academy can be considered a combination of external factors and a comparison of conditions with courses from other schools that I considerMy choice of Beetroot Academy can be considered a combination of external factors and a comparison of conditions with courses from other schools that I considered. And as it can be understood, this comparison was in favor of Beetroot Academy. But let's go through it all step by step.
At first, I chose another school, but I encountered a bad sales manager who initially promised to meet me regarding the cost of the course, as at that time I couldn't afford to pay for the course in one payment. And then he even suggested taking a loan to pay for the course. Since the characteristics of IT courses concern only the teacher, the program, and the final results, and sales managers are not related to this, I will skip the name of the school.
So when this option fell through, I started looking further, and I preferred Beetroot Academy precisely over Projector due to the following factors:- longer duration of the course (4.5 months compared to 3);
- broader program and more workload on the course (Beginner and Middle level topics, 2 two-hour lectures/practices on weekdays + 4-hour practices every Saturday as opposed to only Beginner level topics and 2 meetings of 2 hours);
- choice of your own topic for the graduation project (instead of the whole group creating different variants for a real client based on a specific task, which the client paid for, to have the graduates choose his task, as it happens at Projector);
- not the least reason was the work of the sales manager, who provided me with the level of service that was not in the first failed option and the usual communication with the sales manager from Projector, whose interest in getting me on the course was not felt.
Moments that I liked on the course:- support from the academy throughout the course;
- the teacher! Her level of knowledge, ability to explain, interest in the success of students, willingness to help with every question that arises;
- own LMS, where each lesson has homework, several video lessons, and a lot of quality textual information taken from various well-known and not very reliable sources;
- slight changes in the program or individual homework at the choice of the teacher — it was done to give us only the necessary knowledge, based on real cases in practice;
- a well-thought-out process of defending the graduation project and the ability to defend it in English;
- friendly community within the group and overall at the academy;
- the presence of educational events, workshops, and free career counseling for each student;
- cool merch for all students;
- the ability to split the payment for the course into a convenient number of parts.
Moments that I didn't like on the course:- somewhat outdated links to some information;
- in general, the order of video lectures sometimes confused, and sometimes there was a feeling that the videos were taken from previous versions of this course;
- the teacher's answers to questions about the course/graduation project, even within the allocated time, were long and postponed to another day, despite her online presence;
- minor errors in tests and in some places not very well-thought-out UI/UX in LMS.
I can say that the course completely met my expectations, even despite minor negative moments. As a result, I implemented the final project of this kind: a Telegram bot, to which I connected artificial intelligence (open-source LLM) and implemented the ability to communicate with it (ask questions and get answers) exclusively using voice messages.
I recommend Beetroot Academy to everyone who wants to get a quality base in Python.
