I recommend you try the introductory course to see if it is something you want to invest your money in. You can learn most of what's in the curriculum online for free. The benefits of enrolling here are having many different instructors who are currently working in the tech industry, receiving feedback from them in real time, and building new connections. Aside from the labs, my classmates and I were able to have a lot of personal time with our instructors to gain valuable insight into the industry. My one tip to anyone who decides to enroll in the bootcamp in the future would be to make sure you ask as many questions as you possibly can. I found the most benefit from the job search assistance and the interview practice made available to graduating students following the completion of the bootcamp. The experience of being in a class with actual students and instructors made the course much easier to follow due to the questions being asked by other students, along with the insight provided by the assistant instructors. I wouldn’t be in the position I am today without UNLV’s Cybersecurity Bootcamp. Their team of teachers did an amazing job and making the bootcamp fast paced, yet engaging and easy to understand! I liked the large amount of different professors we had...I wouldn’t be in the position I am today without UNLV’s Cybersecurity Bootcamp. Their team of teachers did an amazing job and making the bootcamp fast paced, yet engaging and easy to understand! I liked the large amount of different professors we had and how helpful and inclusive they were as well. I could see this being a bit difficult for students who are first getting into IT with how fast paced it is, but they do have study workshops that will definitely help with studying. This bootcamp helped me to fulfill my dream of becoming a Cybersecurity Professional as I am now a Cybersecurity Administrator at a company that they matched me with!! I am very thankful for this program and I would recommend to other students who are looking to grow in their IT experiences.
