I received a scholarship for TripleTen's data science program in partnership with Women Who Code back in 2022. I entered the program with a software engineering background but wanted to gain additional insight into machine learning concepts, which TripleTen offered. I learn best by applying new skills, so I loved that TripleTen had exercises built into every chapter. You're able to reach out to instructors and tutors whenever you're stuck on a problem. The exercises also have hints built in. 

During the program, you have support every step of the way from everyone on TripleTen's staff. In particular, my success manager continued to check in on me when I fell behind on my studies and was able to help me get reintegrated into the program after I took hiatuses. 

My favorite part of the program was the chapter projects. I had a portfolio at the end of the program that I was able to talk about in interviews, and many of the skills I obtained I was able to utilize in further education and my current position. Between the projects and chapter exercises, the structure of TripleTen reenforced the concepts. 

I enjoyed that TripleTen had sprints but was otherwise self-paced. This is a great program if you work well with deadlines but need flexibility when it comes to progressing. Ultimately, I was very happy with the education I received at TripleTen!

I was looking to pivot my career and decided to take a look into bootcamps and after some research, found TripleTen to be very attractive given that they have a money back guarantee if they're not able to help you land a job 6 months after graduation. Their program is very interactive and intuitive and the tutors are always available on discord should you need any help. They have weekly coworking sessions that you can attend to speak directly with the tutors and go over any questions/concerns you may have. You're also assigned a success manager at the beginning who'll be your go-to contact person should you need any assistance. I found their system to be very well organized and never felt like I didn't know who to reach out to if I needed anything and was able to finish the program 1 month early!

I was happy to learn a new skill set and am currently enrolled in their career acceleration program after finishing the course, thus I cannot really review the job assistance part of it yet, but am really looking forward to hopefully landing a new job in a new career field. Read less

Around April and May last year, I was getting ready to graduate from college, and had little clue what I wanted to do with regard to a job. After doing some looking around, I began to take note of different tech boot camps that I heard about on the internet and from friends in the field. TripleTen was one of these, and after a bit of time spent deciding between my options, I decided that TripleTen, with it's tuition guarantee regarding employment, as well as their general flexibility with my work schedule, was the way to go. 

Since June of last year then, I have been going through the Software Engineering Program at TripleTen, and I could not be happier with my choice for the following reasons. 

Firstly, the program. The program is divided into two week sections called, sprints which consist of theory sections (most of which have practice sections for you to immediately apply what you've learned) and those sections of theory culminate in a project that draws together everything that you've learned during the sprint (as well as information from each preceding sprint) and compresses it down into a well thought-out project that practically hits on every note that you studied in the theory for that sprint. I find this work loop very enjoyable and gratifying. When I first started the part of the program on JavaScript, for instance, I felt like a complete fool as I couldn't understand even the most basic elements of the language but as time has gone on, I have just finished the 13th of 15 sprints that focused on using my own database I created last week to add a new layer of security and authentication to make it secure using JavaScript, which, had you told me a few months ago I would do, I would've thought you were lying.

Secondly, the faculty. Like previously mentioned, when I first started JavaScript, as well as many other moments throughout my course, I have had times where I really began to think that I just couldn't do it. I thought I wasn't smart enough for it, and I was just gonna end up falling flat, but thanks to encouragement from the staff at TripleTen, whether it be from my community manager, or the tutors who helped me through rough patches, I stuck to it and kept on going until things finally started to sink in and make sense. I have always felt very comfortable asking pretty much any questions that come to mind when I am having difficulty, because every tutor I have worked with has been patient and quick to help me understand things, no matter how many questions I had to ask until it finally clicked. This has been greatly appreciated, and I am not sure whether or not I would have stuck with the program had I not had encouragement from the staff and my family during discouraging sections of the lessons.

Thirdly and finally, the focus of the staff on practical application especially when it comes to career-prep and understanding of what it takes to get and maintain a job in this field. At the end of almost every sprint is an entire chapter, (and sometimes more than one) dedicated to specific aspects of the job search. The first few have you setting up a solid GitHub that is appealing to employers, followed be a LinkedIn, then how to write a proper Resume for the field, and so on. Their desire to make sure you are employed after your time with TripleTen is clear, and very encouraging. I am going to be married in two months, so having the confidence that I have gained concerning my ability to get a job in this field that I have gained from my TripleTen is in my mind priceless.

There are a number of other reasons I could cite, but for the sake of brevity, I will leave it at those three. I am thoroughly pleased with my time at TripleTen, and though my time with them is drawing to a close soon, I will always be thankful to them for helping me get started in my dream career as quickly and efficiently as they have. 

I could not recommend the program enough, especially if you were like me, namely, completely green, but very interested in the software engineering field and not knowing where to start. I believe TripleTen is the best place to do so. Read less

As someone who is currently working in sales, I've never really thought of working in tech before. I saw a random funny reel on Instagram one day about working in tech and decided to click on it to learn more and see what it was. It was from someone who worked in coding and seemed like they had an awesome job and remote life. They talked about TripleTen so I checked it out and started reading reviews and learning more about it. There are so many different options and courses with TripleTen they really have something for everyone. I decided to talk with one of the advisors just to learn more and see what it was about. She explained all of the different courses and programs to me and helped me figure out that I was really interested in the Business Intelligence Analytics program. I've always had an entrepreneurial mind and even majored in entrepreneurship in college so I love helping businesses grow but learning how to use data and tech to improve businesses was a great way to keep up with the way the world is going with tech and data. The school payment options made everything super easy and all of the tutors and staff made signing up a breeze.

I started pretty soon after and got right into it. I still have a day job and this fits perfectly into my schedule. I usually study after work for about 2 hours a day during week days and then usually around 4 hours a day on the weekends if I can. I always have time to do other things in life as well so I can still go to the gym, be with my family, go out to eat, and get a solid night's sleep. Since the courses are go-at-your-own-pace, you can go however fast or slow you would like. Even with just doing what I currently am, I'm a month ahead of schedule. This gives me time to work on projects and lessons.

The lessons are well-structured and include real-life examples that really help me understand. There are occasionally things that are confusing, but I reread everything and really backtrack to make sure I can fully understand it. One piece of advice I would definitely give is to take really good notes. This way, when you're doing the projects or need to review something, you can easily see it again. The projects really put your skills to the test and let you show off what you know. It's honestly a really cool feeling to get through a task and then get the go-ahead from the code checker. Even if you don't get everything completely correct the first time, the reviewers give you great tips to help you get it right. If you ever get stuck on something, it's so easy to find help within the community of other students and tutors or even your personal success manager that is just there to help you with everything.

Built into the course is a career prep course where they help you do things like improve your online presence with LinkedIn, craft a great resume, write a perfect cover letter, and even tips on how to interview for your dream job. They work these into the course so that you are improving on skills that you are currently learning so you can really expand on your skills and knowledge. While I haven't quite finished yet, I still feel like I'm ready to go into the Business Analytics field. And I'm super excited about it. They also have real-life projects that you can complete for real companies to give them results and get real-world experience and practice while even getting real results you can put on your LinkedIn. 

The lessons are broken up into sprints to mimic the real world and make it easy to break up your time. After each sprint you get a completion badge that you can post on your LinkedIn to show off your newly learned skills. It's super cool getting to show off each skill that I learn. It makes me super proud every time I post one. And it makes your profile look even better to future recruiters or employers that might be looking you up. Even my friends and colleagues have noticed all of my newly acquired skills and are impressed and always have lots of questions. I've been messaged by recruiters noticing my new skills as well so that's super promising.

Talking more about the specific Business Intelligence Analytics that I'm in, it covers some of everything. Starting off with learning everything Excel, which is something that you're definitely going to use in basically every job you get, and then learning how to make visualizations in powerful programs like Tableau and Power BI. These are very strong programs that can basically do everything. If you think you can make cool things in excel or power point, they have nothing on these tools. They are very powerful and once you fully learn to use them, there isn't much you can't do. Another powerful and important program you learn to use is SQL. This is a program to communicate with and connect various databases. It's definitely a skill that will be important in any job I have.

Not only does the course cover these hard skills like software skills but also soft skills like speaking, presenting, interviewing, working in a team, managing your time both personally and professionally, and even networking to find a better job and help you in life. Soft skills are something that is definitely very overlooked in most programs and life in general. Being able to create a fantastic and informal report is a great thing, but if you can't effectively communicate your results than it really takes away from your skills. By working soft skills into the course, you get a great chance to learn everything. 

I'm almost through the course and I'm so excited to finish up and get started in a new career in business analytics. Do yourself a favor and get this course. Better your life and career. Read less

I've been teaching math and programming for 7 years, so I have a solid background in Java, but I was a self-taught coder and didn't have anyone to teach me industry standard best practices or common frameworks. I love coding, and so I wanted to pursue options in software engineering.

I did plentiful research on different coding bootcamps, but TripleTen stood out. I had seen reviews and watched YouTube summaries of the first couple sprints, and what caught my attention was the quick response to questions through the bootcamp's discord. I'm a hard worker, and I can usually figure things out through my own research, but I knew there would be some abstract concepts that I just couldn't grasp - and the couple of times I needed questions answered, that process was very timely! TripleTen is organized into 15 sprints, preparing students for a career with deadlines. Initially we learn front-end development using HTML / CSS / JavaScript. This leads into using React, which is a framework combining JavaScript and HTML to dynamically design webpage elements. This part of the course was challenging but rewarding, because I began to feel like I could make anything I want happen on a web page with relative ease. After mastering many frontend design concepts, backend development began. I had a little bit of a background in databases, but not with the same technologies as TripleTen was teaching me. The coursework made the new information easy to grasp, and backend programming turned into my favorite! I loved finding out how the "guts" of a website run to make things like user authentication and dynamically updating website info happen. Finally, everything gets tied together in Sprint 14, and you really feel like you've built a website that could expand to an infinite number of ideas. Sprint 15 walks you through cloud hosting, so friends and family can visit your website publicly by simply typing in a URL.

The interactive platform gives check-in quizzes to see if you're keeping up with the vocabulary and concepts, and has many tasks that represent the skills you'll be using in that sprint's project while you're learning them. The projects expand on the tasks in a challenging way (but reasonably challenging!) There are things you'll have to research a bit on your own, but the mentors on the bootcamp's discord are right there if you've done your research and couldn't quite find what you're looking for. I'm hoping to get a start on an externship project for a real company soon! This is a project that the bootcamp offers if you're keeping up with the coursework - a company needs something built, and TripleTen makes sure it's appropriate for their students. TripleTen and the company will bolster your LinkedIn and resume with letters of recommendation afterwards!

At the end of Sprint 15, I am incredibly satisfied with the progress I've made. I feel I can have real conversations with other engineers, code using professional frameworks and methodologies, and learn new frameworks quickly when needed.

If you do choose to go with TripleTen, here are some words of advice: structure your days around some time to work on the course. For me, I was able to set aside 7pm-9pm every weeknight, with a little more time on the weekends. TripleTen wants students to plan on 20 hours each week, and that's a pretty good estimate. Also, be willing to struggle! I had some pretty big mess-ups on projects that I didn't discover until later on; oversights that took a good amount of time to fix and correct the rest of the code that depended on my mistake. I learned a TON during that process, because mistakes are one of the most powerful learning tools! Finally, ask for help. Once you've done your research and tried to find solutions to problems, the mentors are there to help. There are office hours and discord servers for individual sprints, so do not be afraid to start interacting with the community! Other students are there asking the same questions you probably are, and the mentor's answers to your questions might just help a future student! Read less

I've been working on the Business Intelligence Analytics course with TripleTen and so far it's been a great help! I'm close to finishing the course with a couple of sprints to go, each of which has taught each objective in great detail. I choose Triple Ten because it is giving 10 month duration to complete course work which is needed for me as am new in tech world. Plus there is lot of help/guidance from the tutors if we stuck in between projects or have any doubts we can reach them at any time on the platform, then career support is great benefit to land a desired job. This bootcamp has been challenging in the best way! The material is extremely thorough, from data cleaning to implementing machine learning models, and there are many wonderful, responsive tutors to help along the way. The projects are tough, and you learn a lot in the process of completing them. I love that the format of content allows me to study around my work schedule, and I am incredibly grateful for the extensions available for project submissions. I joined this bootcamp to move towards the machine learning field, and I strongly feel that it is helping me move in that direction. It can be difficult to balance study material with full time work, but it absolutely doable when you consistently show up (even for a small amount of time) every day. Now, I'm pushing through my last few months in the bootcamp and getting started on the career prep work. The reason I first started to look for a bootcamp was I wanted something REAL, like experience, that could tie my college degree together, since I only have an associates. TripleTen was a great addition to my educational journey. 

There were three things that I really wanted when it came to a bootcamp: needed to work with my schedule (I work 40+ hours a week and school), has REAL work experience and could help me secure a job afterwards. TripleTen offers all of this. 

They are a part time option which was not too demanding, and when I did need time off I was able to request it. This made it super easy to balance life, work, school and the bootcamp. 

Their externship program is legit, allowing their students to get ACTUAL real life experience. Along with their course material, which felt like I was actually learning something that would help me, it is pretty easy to score a programming position with them. 

They also offer, at least I think they still do, 100% money back guarantee, which has never been claimed by a student! 

Overall, I really enjoyed my time with TripleTen. I learned so much more about software engineering, which honestly is a huge passion of mine. I was even able to get a position with Hurley Medical Center as an Application Analyst! I would not say TripleTen was 100% the reason I was able to get this position, my college experience and experience at other positions at Hurley definitely helped, but I would 100% say that I do not regret taking the course. What sold me was that I could work at my own pace and do the work and lessons at anytime of the day. The best career decision I've made so far has been selecting TripleTen for a coding bootcamp. I was nervous to change my path from the healthcare industry to tech, after becoming burned out and tired of commuting for hours each day. For a few years I toyed with the idea of switching careers, with a dream of breaking into tech, but I let those imposter syndrome thoughts tell me that “it’s too hard, you can’t do it!”. I put my dream off for a while because I didn’t feel competent or confident to make the change. And then I found TripleTen. I had been considering another program but TripleTen’s full-stack just didn’t match up for the price tag. I also liked how the program was structured using Sprints. I can struggle to self-start and keep an independent pace, so the structure of Sprints holds me accountable to the deadline while preparing me for a real-life SWE job role. You are able to take breaks in the program as needed (they are even encouraged!). This was important to me because I work full-time and travel frequently. Once I had decided that TripleTen was the program that I wanted to move forward with I spoke with an advisor who further helped me to “hush” those thoughts telling me that I couldn’t do it – and I went for it! I am so happy that I did. The journey has been challenging but seeing your code come together is SO rewarding. The theory can be overwhelming at first. However, it is divided into text, visuals, videos, links to outside resources, and the interactive coding platform so it is easy to stay engaged. The platform is also visually appealing and easy to navigate. I highly recommend giving yourself enough time to complete the theory especially if you do not have any coding experience. And take notes! Keep a calendar and take breaks, you can do it! The best part of the program is the Discord server where you can interact with the Tutors, Success Managers, and other students. The Tutors do a great job of giving hints and explanations using videos, visuals, and detailed written feedback to guide you towards the solution rather than telling you the answer outright. They help you to critically think and encourage you to do your own research because that is going to help you be successful in the workforce. I have never had to wait more than two hours for a tutor to answer a question. There are also multiple office hours most days of the week, so there are frequent opportunities for support outside of Discord. If additional support is needed, you can ask for a 1:1 tutoring session. Senior students are also available to support you and will often chime in with feedback if you ask a question. The Success Managers check-in with you frequently, encourage you when warranted, and help you keep on pace. The whole community is really supportive and friendly. I haven’t fully immersed myself in the career prep coursework but the resources are abundant! I chose TripleTen's Software Engineer (SE) bootcamp wanting for a career changing and hoping to be able to work remote one day. I was drawn to TripleTen for its original sprint structure every three weeks, hoping the deadlines would push me to work harder but is also flexible on when or how many hours a day I can choose to code. The recent shift to unlimited extensions was a welcome change, it provided me more flexibility for unexpected life changes.
Managing study time with an inconsistent schedule was challenging, but I started to break down sprint chapters into three-week segments. I love the community provides on Discord, where I can connect with senior students and tutors for guidance and forming a supportive learning environment.


TripleTen's emphasis on interactive learning enhanced both hard and soft skills. The dynamic curriculum encouraged active participation, contributing to a well-rounded skill set. Some tips for the upcoming new students I can share would be to try preparing for fast-paced learning, staying consistent, and dedicating at least 30 minutes to an hour daily for coding.



In conclusion, TripleTen's SE bootcamp has played a pivotal role in my career transition. The combination of flexibility, community engagement, and interactive learning has not only equipped me with technical skills but also instilled resilience for the journey ahead. Read less

I wanted to join the tech world because I was always interested in technology and how cool it is. I also wanted a better life for myself where I can support my family as well. I found this school through just Youtube add or searching on google. I was hesitant at first but I had a lot of people help me through the process and it was a great way to get into the tech world and get started. The people and the community were all so great and helpful. The community managers really did care about me completing the work and understand whether I needed a break or not. They helped me out soo much I would say with out them I would have already quit. I really like the community office hours, those were so helpful and you get to have tutors to help you and explain to you how to do something. It was such a big help and i loved it every time. That is a big plus that helped me get through this. The projects were also a big help. They provided a way to feel like working on a real life project, which helps out with the feeling of doing something that will give you experience. TripleTen helped me with understanding how the tech world works and how can I succeed in it. Provided so much good information and experiences from other people that works on the tech world. Such great insight, it gave me the motivation to keep going and not to give up. 

It was a challenging program to go through it. I know it was going to be challenging but this was really hard to complete and especially as you go half way in. But it was all worth it, it gave me all the knowledge I need to get the experience for a job at this market. I would say one complaint I have is that the program does not feel like it prepares you for the difficulty that comes with learning all this stuff. There are times where I would be stuck for so long and sometimes need extensions to complete the work and understand it. But again that's where the tutors helped out so much. They provided a lot of support and I was able to get through it. To end this review, one advice I would say is to prepare your self with a routine to complete this and be consistent. I promise after you graduate form the program, you will feel ecstatic about your progress and achievement. You will not regret choosing TripleTen!   Read less

At first, I was skeptical about TripleTen's promises to secure a job and learn enough about Data Science to feel confident in a full time position. Though I have not secured a job at this point (I only just graduated), I can confidently say that I have acquired a great number of skills that makes me surprise myself at times. TripleTens curriculum is as depth as a 9 month program can be, and in my opinion, hits all of the essential elements that are applicable to the business side of Data Science. I say that to emphasize this point: Data Science is a massive and ever expanding field, and there is no way to cover it all in 9 months. That being said, they give you all the tools and resources to secure your foothold in the discipline. 

Outside of the curriculum, they provide an excellent team dedicated to your well-being and success in the program. Evgenia and Aia (my community leads) were both incredibly supportive, regularly checking in to see how I was doing as well as responding in timely manner to all of my questions and needs. They were awesome. 

They also provide many secondary resources, such as workshops and webinars, to help refine and expand your skills and answer any questions.

The one, and really only, complaint I have is that I found feedback on some of the projects a little frustrating. I came from a prestigious university and sport program that were both built on in-depth feedback. Out of the 15 or so projects, I felt that a couple of these lacked feedback that made me feel comfortable to move onto the next module. However, this was often rectified by one-on-one interactions that filled any remaining gaps that I felt I had.

Overall, I can not recommend this program enough. For those that are trying to break into the industry, refine their skills, or just want to learn for their own personal use, I would strongly suggesting giving TripleTen a look. They were great.  Read less

 


I decided to learn software engineering primarily because I wanted to get into project management in the tech world. However, I wanted to be able to learn the job from the inside out. I also wanted to have other options, so I wasn’t stuck in just project management. After doing extensive research I stumbled across triple ten or formerly Practicum. It was the best option because it thousands of dollars cheaper and the time it took to accomplish the certificate was half the time or more. 


I organize my study every other week depending on what activities I have going on the week of. I work full time but thankfully I do work from home so whenever work is slow I study and work on my software engineering chapters. I typically study 15-20 hours a week.


I typically go through the chapters in order but if for some reason what is provided still does not make sense ill do my own research of watch videos. I make sure to take breaks like walk my dog, workout, shower, make coffee, etc because my brain can’t handle working 8 hours and jumping straight into studying. So I will usually study for 2 hours and take a break and study for 2-4 more hours until it’s time to get ready for bed. I do my larger parts of studying on the weekends because I do have more time.


Everything about TripleTen has been amazing! The chapters give a short but great explanation on how the coding works and why it wouldn’t work. After every lesson on each chapter, you get to test out what you learned and get hands on experience. I am supper hands on learning, so it works great for me. Obviously since the material was just learned it may be hard to still understand so you still get help through the lessons.


The projects are the best way to learn hands on experience. Having tutors available to help through the process is a huge help. Every tutor is always willing to help and they are ALL very knowledgeable. Choosing TripleTen has been the best decision!

Last year I decided to change my career, I was looking for something that I could do from home. I worked so many years on sight, I just want the tranquility of my home. I started to look for courses that could give me that freedom, and then I found Tripleten. I had an experience one by one over the phone and I decided that it would be something pleasant to learn. The price was very accessible and It worked for me. You just need to have some time available to study 2 or 3 hours a day, some people are more disciplined, but trust me, I'm not one of them and it still works for me. The support I have from the tutors are awesome, and always when you need help, we have a app called Discord that you can type your issue and somebody will help you anytime, or tutors, or senior students, its wonderful. There are career assistance and LinkedIn assistance also. Don't think just because is online that you not going to interact with other students, we had a meeting very nice over the zoom and was fun to meet and chat with others. Coming back to the course, they provide high quality material and activities, it worth a lot if you like me is looking to change your career. I would be lying if I tell that it's easy, because is not, you need to put a lot of effort to make it happen, read the material, and if you need, read it again and again.

       I Started on my BI Analysis  journey with TripleTen after graduating with an IT degree from the university of Texas in Dallas and struggling to get a job after graduation. After hundreds of applications and a year after graduation, I came to the realization that I needed to get extra skills in Tech to improve my chances of landing a job. So the idea of a bootcamp came by and after researching multiple bootcamps.        I embarked on the exciting journey of learning BI Analysis with a goal to delve into the world of data and analytics. Choosing the right platform for my analytics  journey was crucial, and after a thorough research, I decided to go with TripleTen. Some of the reasons that TripleTen has become an integral part of my learning experience are many and one of them was the Motivation to Learn. The lecturers were very supportive and helpful in helping to do the projects when stuck. We have a shared discord board among students where one could post a question when stuck on a topic or project and the tutors and other students would suggest ways of getting the problem done without actually giving you the direct answers thereby giving you the motivation to learn and figure out the answer. As with anything new, there will always be instances when you get stuck on something new that you have to learn especially if it's totally a new concept. I had never done SQL before, and it was challenging. I had constant check in from my tutors asking if they could help, and one I posted a question, I would get a response less than a day letter on how to navigate the said question.
       The TripleTen platform is also very interactive making it quite easy to navigate to get answers about topics that one would be stuck in and this also made the task of completing projects manageable. Triple ten also have learning teams, community, and  workshops that have new activities every week to immerse yourself into and also they have learning workshops every day with different tutors covering different topics where one can get answers from depending on what program they are undertaking. TripleTen also introduced me to Github where I could post the projects I have learned so that other students and employers could view my work and increase my chances of getting a job. Through Github , I was also able to collaborate with other students and Github users on their projects by giving suggestions on how to improve on a project posted. I also got introduced to Norton, a platform I had never heard of which has helped me do a professional resume and connect with other like minded people in the analytics field.
       The Studying Routine was very flexible and due to this it would be suitable for anyone , whether in school or undertaking a full time job. If you commit roughly 15 hours a week you would be able to meet the project deadlines. I broke down the 15 hours weekly study by studying in the morning every day for two hours and this enabled me to not fall behind and meet the study deadlines that are set out in the platform. The workshops that they offer every day covering different projects made it much easier and fun to figure out problems when stuck with an issue. On top of that, the most valuable aspect of TripleTen is their interactive platform, engaging projects, supportive learning team, a vibrant community, and their insightful workshops.
       TripleTen has had a tremendous Impact towards my progress of becoming a BI Analyst. Since I started this journey I have become proficient in Excel, SQL, Tableau and Power BI. Ive become an expert in making engaging dashboards and collecting and cleaning data for analysis. It has also given me great confidence to applying for jobs that need experience because I can now show the products I have worked on as an example of what I can do when it comes to BI Analytics. 
The advice I can give to Beginners or those that are considering starting a journey in analytics, coding or any bootcamp classes you choose to do is just to begin. Like with everything new, it can look hard at first when you are starting out just like with learning any new subject especially if it is something that you have never done before. Staying motivated is essential even during days when a project seems hard to understand. The best way to approach these days is to always ask questions especially to your tutors and classmates and because you will find that most of the time they have experienced the same issue that you are experiencing. They will always be in a better position to show you how they maneuvered through the question to get to the correct answers and they can explain how you can get to the correct answer yourself.  Effective study habits and leveraging the resources provided by TripleTen would make you successful in your bootcamp journey.
       My experience with TripleTen has been nothing short of transformative. The platform's features, coupled with my commitment and organized study routine, have accelerated my growth in the Analytics field. Most importantly, leverage TripleTen's resources, and stay dedicated.

After having some experience in the tech field and being rebounded by warehouse work, I wanted to take more steps into the field that interested me and move past average customer support and desktop/smartphone support. After doing some digging and research to find my next move to make this happen. I was advertised to "Tripleten" on a social media feed. However, a bit skeptical I did have a chance to research other camps but the course I chose here at Tripleten (Quality Assurance Engineering) had all the courses I needed to become a knowledgeable QA. 

The reason I chose Tripleten is that while doing my research I did have the chance to sit in on some Zoom calls with other camps but this one was a phone appointment. I had the chance to talk to Ron Schurr personally and ask separate questions from notes I've been taking and its learning curriculum was what I needed while working with a volume-based schedule. I normally carved out 3-5 hours a day or every other day to make sure I digested what I learned and anything I didn't my tutors & community managers always had some answer or someone who can get you what you needed.

The course and curriculum is layed out very nicely and its becoming very intuitive. From the time I've spent in the course I personally just enjoy the simplicity, the information is easy to find, the calendars are clear and all the tutors are available at different times to meet everyone needs. Theres always updates in the community discord for career talks & help, Old and active open chats to help you along with each section and there's even a place to find a study buddy. Id also like to highlight my success managers (Vladimir & Irene) these people care and make sure your striving for your goal or help you with any course issues you may encounter. Super friendly. 

TripleTen has a career program. I haven't completed the program, so I haven't fully dived into the career part yet. But as I approach the end there are courses that explain it has externships and how well just from graduating from here can help you land a job as a QA. I'm confident once I'm done and talk to the career counselors ill be fully prepared to get that job.

After explaining all of the great this course and curriculum can bring there are some snags that I've encountered but nothing insanely major. There honestly very little this QA course that needs to be fixed. Just some more visual explanations videos or GIF's and re-structure or wording of some stuff to make it hit home. I did a lot of research into bootcamps before deciding on TripleTen (formerly Practicum). Some of the bootcamps I've researched include FlatIron, Thinkful, Springboard, App academy, CodeSmith, etc. After being in the TripleTen bootcamp for several months now, I have to say that I'm very happy with my choice. I’ll list below some of the key things and features that I like about the program. In no particular order:

1) TripleTen has built-in breaks and extensions for students. During the 1st month or so of the program, a huge crisis came up, that had me sidelined for around a month and a half where I was unable to work on the program. In, I think all of the other bootcamps mentioned above, I would have been kicked out from their program. And they would have kept at least part of my money. Most bootcamps have a policy where if you fall behind (for any reason, even if it’s an emergency), they remove you from the program. TripleTen, on the other hand, has breaks and extensions built into their program that you can take when you need. Even if you didn’t have an emergency situation, I think it’s also totally unreasonable for most of these bootcamps to expect a student to really learn and grasp so much material in such a short amount of time. So I think breaks and extensions are incredibly helpful in that regard. 

2) The people at TripleTen are fantastic! The staff here (from the tutors to the community managers) is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable . Definitely one of the highlights of the program.

3) TripleTen has periodic projects throughout the course. The program is divided up into what are called Sprints. Each sprint goes through lessons, and teaches you some material. And then at the end of each sprint you are given a project to complete. The projects are by far the most fun part of the course work, in my opinion. You get to implement what you learn, and the brief instructions are usually quite specific with what they want you to do. But there’s also room for creativity and adding your own features as well, if that’s something that you’re interested in doing (as I was). After you submit a project, it gets reviewed, where a reviewer will suggest corrections and improvements.

4) TripleTen has extra activities. The program has optional side activities that you can participate in such as code jams and externships. In a code jam, you are placed in a team with other students, and you have a project to complete. You compete against other teams. In an externship, you work with other students and a lead developer to actually design and/or implement some kind of project or feature for a real world company. Externships, in particular, are an amazing feature to have in a bootcamp, because it’s real world experience that you can put on your resume. 

5) TripleTen has a money back guarantee. Before you believe any camps money back guarantee, I suggest you read the fine details in their policy section. For instance, Thinkful has a money-back guarantee. But if you actually look into the fine details, their conditions for actually being eligible to claim the money back are incredibly strict. Some of the conditions are so extreme that it seems almost impossible to claim the money back. I won't go into the details here, but I suggest you look up the policy and decide for yourself. TripleTen on the other hand, has much much less stringent conditions for claiming the money back, which tells me that this bootcamp is confident in being able to land you a job after graduation. 

6) TripleTen has Senior Students. Senior students are a group of students who have been accepted by TripleTen to officially help/tutor other students. You don't necessarily have to be far into the program to become a senior student. You just have to know what you're doing (for the most part) and be willing to help others. I list this as a feature here, because it's actually become one of my favorite parts of the program. This may just be me, but I really enjoy working with other students to help fix their code. Not only that, but it gives you a ton of experience, looking at other people's code and trying to find and fix the issues. I do recommend it. Of course, becoming a senior student is totally optional.

7) TripleTen has a career program. A significant portion of the program is geared towards landing a job. I haven't completed the program, so I haven't fully dived into the career part yet. But as I approach the end, it's looking like their career program is extensive, which definitely gives me that extra layer of assurance that I’ll be able to land a job after graduation. I guess, overall, I would say that I highly recommend TripleTen, and that I’m very pleased with my decision to choose them for my bootcamp. Read less
