Practicum by Yandex is an opportunity for growth and learning, with practical knowledge pure and undiluted by the dry, sleep-inducing webinars you get with other platforms. It’s a mainstay for anyone beginning their journey toward work as a web developer. It can be a challenging road, one traveled with trepidation and in fear of making a false step, though now there’s the safety net that is Practicum by Yandex!

One of the best things about Practicum by Yandex (an online training program where great people can pick up new skills in programming, data analysis, and other modern professions) is the live community. Why is that so important to me? 1. The feeling of not being alone. Sure, they aren’t teaching you rocket science, at least not at the very beginning, although the topics can sometimes still be pretty challenging. Realizing that you aren’t the only person dealing with them helps you keep thinking—I’m not stupid; this chapter is just a tough one. 2. Teaching each other. Sometimes you’re the one who understood a new topic, while a coursemate didn’t. Explaining the matter helps you have a better understanding so that you’re not just spewing nonsense.

I’m 26 years old, and I have degrees in physics, economics, and translation. I have also owned a bakery for six years in addition to being a confectioner and chocolatier. When I started this course, I knew absolutely nothing about programming or analysis. I didn’t even know that the second profession was an actual thing, but was able to master it quickly. This course is great for people who enjoy order, aren’t afraid of numbers, and who are prepared to spend a great deal of time thinking and processing new information. It’s a fantastic course, and it only takes about two hours a day, which is great for combining with other training you’re going through. The information is easy to understand and can be immediately applied to tasks and projects. The conferences with mentors (practicing analysts) are amazing and really help with both the projects as well as understanding what to expect on the job in the future. I especially enjoyed the little jokes and excitement in the interactive platform. :) It wouldn’t work for anyone who’s lazy or thinks everyone owes them something. The course gives you a good base and the tools you need, but nobody’s going to do the learning for you. The chat support is fantastic. It’s great for getting help, asking for advice, or just feeling better about the fact that you're not the only one making stupid mistakes. :) There are issues, of course, but they’re minor, they'll inform you about them at the very beginning, and the course is always being improved. I haven’t seen anything like Practicum by Yandex at this quality level or value.

Before the course on front-end development, I had never gone through any coding or online training. I checked out the free portion to see what it was like, wrote a few lines of code in the interactive platform, and was thrilled to see that it worked! The examples are fun, the explanations are easy to understand, the Practicum team is friendly and supportive, and it’s fascinating to study and at the same time watch the platform develop right under your feet. Of course, mastering JavaScript in the beginning isn’t like a pleasant walk in the park. You have to spend a lot of your personal time to really wrap your brain around it. The learning process feels like a regular workday thanks to the sprints, tight deadlines, strict code reviewers, and coworkers available on Slack. Then there are the tough tasks you think are impossible … until you find a solution.

I'd stay away from this institution's bootcamp. Their sales team is just preying on people who feel stuck in their careers and are looking for a bootcamp to help them out.

A salesperson contacted me, and I told him my budget was $6k, and I couldn't pay more. I also said it would be a waste of time to talk if I couldn't afford their AI system engineering course. The guy asked for my budget and then said they could work with it.

On the call, they just tried to hook me with fancy talk about $250k to $300k packages from elite companies that don't even hire based on these bootcamps. There's no career guarantee, and when I brought up the budget again, the guy started pushing another course that was within my budget. I told him I wasn't interested in that course and was looking for the AI system engineer course. Then he told me to call him back when I had the budget for it.

I was so disappointed; the guy wasted half an hour trying to sell me another course that was in my budget. These guys are just hunting for people who aren't in a good emotional place. I'd really avoid joining this institution. Read less

Triple Ten is not US based. Nor are majority of the instructors. They will do everything to disqualify your money back guarantee. 
They also do not have actual substantial relationships with companies. They will coach you at the end to go to linkedin and message random people in the attempt to get a job. That is their job assistance. It is pathetic. Go get a degree which is actually valued by companies. This isn't a short cut.   Read less

It was okay. I learned new skills, and the teachers/instructors are helpful. However, I mainly relied on the A.I. tool provided during the course to get through majority of the assignments. The job market advice wasn’t very helpful, and putting everything together and understanding what you’re studying was quite a chore. Overall, the experience is a good starting point.  Read less

TripleTen’s AI and Machine Learning program has been a strong experience so far. The curriculum is well structured, interactive, and manageable for part-time learners while still being genuinely challenging. Access to tutors and office hours adds real value. It’s a great deal for the cost, and the program is clearly evolving based on student feedback. Supplementing with outside resources helps deepen understanding, but overall it’s a solid and improving learning experience. Read less

I truly was challenged at many points and learned new skills specifically, SQL and Python, that I was struggling on my own to learn and articulate. The tutors were super helpful through the course work as well. The career acceleration has been going through changes and that has been frustrating to navigate. What I liked is that if I need an extension on assignments I can have one- there's always tutors available to give feedback and they let you practice a skill more than once. I was also attracted to this program initally because it said it would give me some work experience before I go and apply for jobs and in today's job market you need that. I really hope to connect with other QA engineers once i finish my program and enter the field. I also like that there are links to supplemental databases I should get familiar with or articles that can help me stay focused and motivated. wishing anyone who is trying to change careers do it.  I've spent several years working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments like TV production and live news, but earlier this year, I decided to pivot, not because I was running from something, but because I was running toward something new: tech. In February, I enrolled in TripleTen’s Software Quality Assurance Bootcamp, and it has been one of the most rewarding professional decisions I’ve made. 

From the very beginning, TripleTen has supported me. My learning coach has been incredibly responsive, and encouraging. It genuinely makes a difference when someone is in your corner who wants you to succeed as much as you do. Whether I had questions about a tough technical concept or needed help unblocking a project, my learning coach was there. And whenever I had questions about projects or assignments I could always turn to the tutors and people on discord.  They are very responsive and always helped me when I was stuck on a task.

 My career coach has been helpful as well. She has changed my perspective when it comes to networking and finding a new job.  She helped me reframe my unique background in media, fitness, and education as an asset in my transition into tech.

One of the things I appreciate most about the program at TripleTen is that it is flexible enough to fit into a busy schedule, but structured enough to hold you accountable. The curriculum covers a wide range of relevant, industry-ready skills. For someone like me who thrives on process, this hands-on approach really clicked. Of course, like any program, you get out what you put in. There were challenging moments, especially early on but the more I leaned into the material, practiced consistently, and asked questions, the more I realized how much I was actually growing. One of the best feelings is when you finally get over the learning curve and start to grasp the content. Once you start to see your potential, it's going to push you and motivate you to keep going. 


 TripleTen helped me shift my mindset from someone who was “just starting out” to someone who is already capable of making an impact. I highly recommend TripleTen to anyone considering a move into tech. The worst that can happen? You walk away with valuable skills that will stick with you for life... skills that make you think more critically, collaborate more effectively, and adapt more quickly. That’s not a loss. I started this journey in January 2023 and officially started in the Summer2023 cause I was getting my licenses in real estate and insurance during the spring months during work time... Hard to say a year passed almost the second year (2025) and I am 4 sprints away from graduation ... I came from a biology major and chemistry minor degree back in 2014 and had experiences in grad school as a SPT student in Andrews DPT program and later a student in Herzing University and Resurrection/Oakpoint University. all this schools taught me that the school will do whatever it takes to keep their institution running and will keep students that gives them the most honor and respect with no regard to the student's religion, race, gender or academic struggles. But as I completed the AWS re/start program with Per Scholas in 2022, I learned how to use AWS key features to run their site as a Certified Cloud practitionar  and later drawn me to Practicum that coming January. I started with an interest to design my own website for my movie collection but tripleten taught me a lot from scratch on HTML, CSS, BEM, the DOM, Java, JS, react, mongoDB, and much more .
as I continue this journey, I want to encourage others to venture into this field as it is booming in our current world AS EVERYONE relies on their mobile device and the need for Apps and AI are increasingly popular.  Read less

A little over a month ago, I graduated from the Quality Assurance course at TripleTen. Since then, I’ve started my job search, but so far I haven’t had any luck. I’ve received several emails declining my application, saying they’re moving forward with other candidates, but not a single phone call for an interview. 
So far, I haven’t found the tools provided by TripleTen to be useful—these are things I can do on my own. I applied to the Externship program a while ago, and the response was that there’s a waiting list and I just have to keep waiting. I don’t know for how long, or where I stand on that list, so I have no idea of my position.
I feel frustrated because most job postings require experience that I don’t have, and there’s no one to help me with that. For the Money-Back Guarantee program, I’m required to attend meetings that are supposed to help me find a job, but the information can easily be found on the internet. All it does is waste time without offering real alternatives like networking opportunities or connections to companies that are hiring. We’re expected to do everything on our own

 The Software Engineering program is still evolving; while you'll encounter some valuable learning experiences, certain concepts may not be communicated clearly. The community is somewhat lacking, and the environment isn’t particularly welcoming. Some staff can be pushy and unprofessional, especially regarding referrals. I first learned about TripleTen coding bootcamp from a friend and Instagram, sparking my interest in a coding career. Currently on Sprint 9 of 16, the journey has been tough yet fulfilling. Overall, TripleTen impresses with its supportive community, responsive tutors, and comprehensive curriculum, starting with basics like HTML/CSS and advancing to JavaScript. They stress perseverance and provide real-world insights. Teaching methods blend reading, videos, and interactive lessons, while pacing is rigorous but adaptable to student needs. Real-world projects enrich learning and build portfolios, with practical job application tips provided. The vibrant community, led by individuals like Dina, Max, and Kevin, keeps motivation high. My experience with TripleTen, particularly with Dina, Max, and Kevin, has been overwhelmingly positive, leading me to wholeheartedly recommend it to coding enthusiasts of all levels.
