Great course! Everything is explained in a very simple way. At the end of each lesson, the feeling is amazing thanks to Matt and the way he explains things. The structure of the course is really well done, with some practical exercises at the end of each lesson. That engraves the concept in your brain forever. A plus...it is definitely the support and the community in Slack!
Basically, from 0 to 100% and more...after doing the Basics course, you want to jump into the next one and continue having fun while learning! I have already enrolled for the Pro program!!! -

“Years ago I tried to learn CSS and HTML by myself. Well, after a lot of sweat I did it. But when I approached Javascript I felt overwhelmed and without support. Some weeks ago my boss asked me to work on our company's website and I was like: "Oh, well..." And I bumped into SheCodes. I thought: "It's now or never." And I bought the whole package, thanks to my discount as university student (I am doing a second BA). The biggest part of this course is the community. I love to ask, to receive answers after some minutes and to be able to help others. Through this course I was able to develop also my company's website. And this is JUST the beginning :)” -

I really loved everything about it! It's so good to finally understand coding! The classes are very easy to understand, and the best part is that we have an exercise each class, which provides us more practice and experience. You can get an extension for those who are worried about time, so the course doesn't become a burden on your schedule. Can't wait to start Plus! 😊 -

SheCodes Basics was an engaging experience. The lessons were easy to follow and fun to complete. As a teacher myself, I was impressed with the learning design and flow of this course. Before this workshop, code looked like a completely alien language to me. Now, I am happy to say, not only can I understand code, but I have the basic skills to create some really cool web pages. SheCodes got me hooked on coding! I can't wait to learn more. There are no live lessons with this course, but if you learn well with watching engaging video instruction and then working on problems yourself, you will do very well in this course. You can always reach out to others on Slack for help. Overall, an excellent introduction to coding for a complete beginner! Thank you, Matt and SheCodes! -

SheCodes has been an absolute lifeline for learning code. I've tried several ways to learn and SheCodes has been the only way i've ever understood what im doing.
If you're like me I can't learn from lessons that are just 'copy and paste what I've done'. They offer no additional explanation as to why it's working and I'm no better off. SheCodes explains how things work and then allow you to use them in actual projects. And if you do get stuck there's so much support available! I've signed up for all the additional workshops straight away!
Cant wait to use what i've learnt these past few weeks in my job and continue to learn!

Great Course for Multiple Fields
This course has been a great way to try out programming and learn just enough of the basics to be able to understand how well you will enjoy it and whether to pursue the topic further. You don't necessarily need to be attempting to become a front-end developer to use this information. This is definitely a course that can span various fields! -

I decided to try the 3 week program because I wanted to understand coding, sure, this is just a small sample of everything that coding entails, but it was an amazing course!! Explaining it like learning a language really helped me take away the fear and intimidation behind the word “code” and made it fun, challenging and exciting!! I’m not sure if I’ll take the next courses, but I’m extremely grateful to this program for allowing me to see that if I wanted, I can continue, and that I can code!!! How awesome and exciting is it to say that?! At almost 42, I can code 🥰. I’m proud to show my daughter that, no matter what age or stage of life you’re in, you can always transform, learn and grow. I absolutely loved this workshop. Matt’s explanation of coding concepts are easy to follow and understand. He breaks down lessons into sizable chunks that are easy to absorb. I thought I would never be able to understand the concept of coding but after taking this workshop I was blown away by how much I learnt in just 3 weeks. The projects are fun and interesting as well, so every week I was looking forward to learning more and seeing what I could build from I learnt.
