Interview Kickstart

Before joining IK, I struggled to identify pattern to solve algo problems and no idea about how to start my preparation for Tier1 companies. Even solved problem seemed to be new when I tried to attempt again, due lack of knowledge on different algorithms.
Interview kick start helped me to overcome above problems, I saw improvement in me to solve problems on my own using techniques and methodology provided by IK foundation materials and live classes.
Domain specific program helped me to understand system design related concepts in depth from highly qualified tutors.

The interview Kickstart program has been very useful for me to cover gaps in my knowledge as I navigated myself through a career change. They start from the fundamentals and help work your way up. In general,  it is expected of you to work independently however the course structure and tutors help organize yourself as you will have to be the main motivator behind the effort. It is important to have an attitude that you are learning instead of just passing an exam as it will help you generalize your knowledge and increases your chances at unexpected interviews. There is no magical shortcut through this, but this course does pave the way through.

I have taken boot camp training sessions with IK in 2021/2022. After being with the same company as EM for years, my tech skills started softening out, and I wasn't ready to face interview questions in management and tech areas. Though I went through the route of self prep, I lost a few interviews as I could not provide answers that interviewers were expecting.
With that experience, I researched a few companies who could provide me the training to update skills needed and came across Interview Kickstart. As the name indicates, Interview Kickstart is a domain expert in the area of providing bootcamp training to get trained for interviews.
IK coaches are from reputed companies including FAANG,  they are their own domain experts and each person covers different areas of the training. It's great to chat with Managers from FAANG and other big companies and get their perspective on the management. Don't miss joining the orientation session with Soham Mehta, he provides values tips to get started, sets right expectations on the outcome of the course.
IK’s course structure, tools, well qualified mentors, practice and feedback sessions helped me to improve my overall management skills and prepared me for  coding  and system design interviews.

Started my prep for FAANG+ interview and had awesome experience during the course completion .Proper materials, online classes , technical doubt clearing session and OMKAR DESHPANDE Sir . He is too good with his way of explanations and problem solving technique.

It was amazing taking the program with IK. The instructors are very knowledgable and experienced. The staff is friendly and supportive.

Attended Interview Kickstart for preparation of tech interviews, this is a great platform for people who are planning to take tech interviews.

IK is a fantastic foundation for not just people who are looking for jobs, but also for people who would like to perform well in their current job.  They sharpen your technical , Non technical, functional and all skills required to get into FAANG companies. I have not seen a structure so meticulous and concise. The curriculum is spot on and it caters to all areas of IT. IK will definitely make a master out of you and makes you very confident. Instead of asking questions to multiple folks, there is one stop guide to all your career requirements. I initially thought the fees is a little expensive, but considering the quality and the things you take home with you, I feel it is underrated.

Hi
I always struggled with interview questions. I struggle with Leetcode questions, strategizing my interview preparation, understanding all sorts of algorithm problems, and understanding how system design even works. This lead me to a couple years of continuously being rejected by top tech companies(amazon,Google). Most online materials are not really good and to get access to receiving help from a FAANG engineer attuned to the interview process is difficult. Interview Kickstart helped relieve me from all those issues and helped me finally snag a top offer for my level. I am really thankful to the Interview Kickstart team.

At first I was skeptical about IK because I thought that they would take my money and leave me in the dust, but I was wrong. Ever since signing up, I have felt like a valuable customer and that the team is out there cheering me on to succeed.

The staff includes various veterans from FAANG companies as coaches and instructors and some regular staff and interns who run the operation side of things.

The staff at IK make me feel very comfortable. They are very accommodating to my needs and gave great feedback both technical and non-technical. The staff is absolutely wonderful.

This camp will teach us 3 different skills: algorithms, system design, and behavioral/soft skills.

Algorithms: very typical Leetcode stuff. I think the benefits of this is to go through each topic and to understand deeply on how it works. They have a portal to do some handpicked hackerrank questions. After each class, with a bit of work, it is easy to start completing the medium Leetcode questions. After a bit more work, hard questions will be easy to come buy. They will assign homework problems that are pretty much leetcode questions.

System design: teaches you how to perform a system design interview. This is mainly for individuals with a bit of system design experience at least. I didn't have any experience designing systems so I fell a bit behind. I highly suggest looking at Grokking the Coding interview to supplement your studies along with the system design if you haven't done system design before.

finally I got offer.

I am a veteran Hands On Engineer with more than a decade of experience. Hands down Interview Kickstart program is the real Uplevel curated for all experiences to "actually" take a Software Engineer(or wanna be) and put him/her through a program to Uplevel the practical Software Engineering skills.
The skills no University/School teaches and most Software Engg. job experience does not necessarily builds those.
This is what is needed to Uplevel yourself as a Software Engineer.

I joined Interview Kickstart Program a year ago. It definitely helped me lay a solid foundation for my data structures and Algorithms. I would like to call out the video, especially by Omkar Deshpande that was very helpful in understanding the logic and laying the foundations. I would also like to call out the mock interviews that were very helpful and the technical coaching sessions which helped us clear our doubts. Overall, I will recommend this program to someone who really wants to build and get a strong hold on the basic data structures and algorithms. I was able to clear both Amazon and Google.

The course is well curated and is intense so personally I’ll recommend this course only and only if you are willing to put a considerable amount of efforts. However I can see an enormous amount of improvement in myself after this course. I recommend this course for sure.

I recently joined IK program and it really boosted my confidence level. The course curricula looks like a lot but as long as we can stick to the program that is laid out it should be do-able. After every module we can feel the difference in our-self and it really adds good motivation. The instructors and other material that is available is really worth the price.

I was looking for a new job and needing help preparing for the technical interviews. I signed up with Interview Kickstart at the end of January, 2022. I started interviewing in June and landed several job offers, including those from my top choices. Thanks to IK, this job search was much more successful than my previous ones. My problem solving skills were significant improved. I felt more confident during the interviews. IK covered a wide range of topics such as sorting, recursions, trees, graphs, dynamic programming, linked list, strings, etc. I ended up solving more than 300 problems on LeetCode during the course of preparation. I found it useful to have the recordings of previous classes so that I could watch in my own time and at my own pace. More than helping me get a job, IK made me a better engineer. Strongly recommended.

I had to change the initial schedule assigned to me by the Interview Kickstart team, to match with my job hunt plan. This was a confusing task for the team at Interview Kickstart, instead giving me trouble in the process, they were very kind and thoughtful of aligning my learning path custom to my job hunt plan. I'm specially thankful to Megha, a student success advocate who has helped me in this process to being quite empathetic and understanding of my situation.

Interview Kickstart's (IK) Engineering Manager track is through and comprehensive. Both technical and behavioral tracks are  exhaustive and covers the latest topics in details. I was rusty on algorithms in general and especially on  the sorting/tree traversal methods. The technical track covers such concepts by illustrating the working of the algorithm and makes it easier to understand.

The feedback from the mock interviews by the IK panel helped me tremendously in securing offers from FANG companies. The panel is diverse and are typically from FANG companies. So their feedback is what exactly one needs in improving their chances for clearing tech interviews.

I'd say its all-real-worth-it for a tech career. The clear roadmap, mocks by mentors from top tech companies, networking and a lot you would benefit out of this course. Regardless of being in job market or not, but this learning is a great boost to the career in many ways. After 15 years of consulting software engineering experience, I have got a huge-career-shift to a tech company from Bay Area.  Someone who is really serious about learning and the time should take this course. The course is very intense and definitely going to be huge time investment over money. I'd definitely re-enroll when there is a need.

I can strongly attest that the rigor and depth promised in the curriculum is real. I am only half way through the program. The things that have helped me till now are (1) the structure of coursework - you are given what to study, when to do a test, how many problems to do - every single week.  There are in-person sessions and test/mock interview type sessions. (2) support - there is a high chance you will trip along the way,  for whatever reason.  My student success advocate is always checking up with me and offering me suggestions or simply hearing me out. I have gotten whatever I asked for and more through the support team.  It is costly, but worth it.

Had a very good experience with interview kickstart. The syllabus is very comprehensive and vast and also helps boost confidence when it comes to interviewing in reality. Not to mention the excellent support received from everyone including the coaching staff, interview panelists and success team staff. I definitely recommend interview kickstart to anyone looking to get past the fear of interviewing and boosting confidence.

I took the EM specialization track. Interview Kickstart (IK) has all the right focus areas figured out. Their philosophy of developing the candidate into a great EM - and along the way, preparing them for the demanding interviews - resonated with me and I signed up. I was overwhelmed initially by the demanding schedule (prep material easily takes 10-15 hrs per week if you really want to soak in all of the technical content, and some weekly live sessions run for 5-6hrs). However, I really enjoyed going through the prep material and the classes because the instructors REALLY care about ensuring the material is understood by everyone attending - and I mean ALL questions are answered in detail. The supplementary sessions and mocks tie it all together really well.

Interview Kickstart helped me get into my dream company Microsoft!
I was struggling without a proper content and a studying structure to prepare for the major companies in  SDE fields. Just doing Leetcode didn't help me pass any of the FAANG onsites. The Interview Kickstart has a very well organized structure which could help you study in your own pace, and the content is best that you can find.

Mock Interviewers were amazing, and helped me with overcoming my nervousness. Not just DS & Algorithm but the System Design contents were amazing as well.

I really recommend, and make use of this course if you are struggling to get into FAANG or any major companies, which has similar pattern of interviews.
