My experience with Great Learning was truly exceptional. I enrolled in the no-code AI program, and I was impressed by the meticulous structure of the curriculum. As someone without a background in Python coding and Data Science, the Applied Data Science Program offered by Great Learning and MIT faculties has been an excellent gateway to gaining knowledge and skills in Statistics, Data Science, Machine Learning, and Python Coding. The platform is incredibly intuitive, the professors and mentors are highly knowledgeable, and the program has been exceptionally well-organized by Program Manager Shubham Chourasia.While the learning curve was steep for me, the combination of recorded lectures, online sessions, case studies, and hands-on projects allowed me to manage the coursework at my own pace and thoroughly understand the wide range of topics covered. The real-life relevance of the case studies and hands-on projects made them both enriching and rewarding.I highly recommend this course to anyone seeking to acquire new skills or expand their existing ones. The course was very well structured, covering from basic statistics and Python, classic machine learning, to some of the more trendy and advanced models. For me the first part was very helpful because on-the-job training sometimes skipa the theory behind and one uses the tools without understanding the assumptions, which can lead to an erroneous application. So the fact that the course offered pre-course materials of the very basic things was really really nice. The mandatory homeworks and weekend practical sessions with industry mentors were also very helpful to ensure that the student understands and can apply the course content to real life problems. If this was not mandatory, I would not have prioritized learning and would not have finished the course. The readiness of the mentors to teach us was also very motivating and being able to ask questions in depth and also learn from other students' questions added to the learning experience. The learning platform was again very informative with a lot of practice problems, datasets, example codes, and optional videos explaining the codes that really helped me do the homeworks. The last part of the course was too advanced for me and I didn't see any immediate application in my current work situation, so I didn't get a very good grasp of it, but overall I definitely learned a lot and would highly recommend to whoever would like some practical exercises and theoretical understanding.  Read less

As someone in a managerial position, I wanted to take a data science class that has a good balance of theories and practice and the great learning curriculum was great. I appreciated solid curriculum and planning. Weekend expert sessions were great as students had chances to ask questions and go through practical examples together. The course was a great refresh in data sciences and went deeper into the Machine learning concepts. It was very well put together to serve both the engineering and non-engineering community. It was perfect for executives and professionals looking to deepen their understanding of AI and apply it practically within their organizations.
One of the highlights of the program was the project work, which was intuitive and highly relevant. It allowed me to apply the concepts learned in a real-world context, making the learning experience both practical and engaging.

This is a densely packed program with excellent instructors and educational content. They cared greatly about curating the contents to present necessary concepts that could be applied in different contexts. The use cases are well prepared, and the case studies that students have to work on are immediately applicable to business. What I may have missed, I can easily go back to recordings and literature in the repository to review. I understood how I could apply some of the methods to my work and how to validate a set of hypotheses. The helpful nudges from the staff to complete the assessments were beneficial in keeping me on track. They respect the busy schedules of working parents who are also business leaders.  Read less

Great Learning has indeed rendered me with a great learning experience during my 12 weeks course in the Data Science and Machine Learning: Making Data-Driven Decisions program which started from Dec 2023 up to April 2024. The 12 weeks’ journey has been transformative!! Starting with no background in coding, I've progressed to applying computer languages in real-world projects. Balancing the roles of a wife, mother, sister, daughter and full-time employee, the course's demands were significant, yet manageable.


I liked the self-paced video lectures which were enlightening, encouraging timely completion to tackle the assessments and projects. Then feedback and quizzes that popped after each module segment were particularly effective, reinforcing my learning and kept me engaged. 


I enjoyed the mentorship and live lectures which added a personal touch, with my program manager/ coordinator accommodating my schedule, ensuring I could participate in a specific day's sessions. This flexibility, along with the support from Monica and Vineet, was invaluable, especially during challenging times such as my bedrest. Vineet’s empathy and immediate assistance was crucial in helping me meet deadlines at an adjustable comfortable pace after reporting my incident.


The exposure to data content and projects from leading global brands has boosted my confidence and fulfilled my aspiration to delve into big data analysis. A heartfelt thanks to MIT and the Great Learning Platform for this enriching experience.

This is a great course for someone who is looking to learn about AI, ML, and Data Science without having to learn how to code. The course offers a great foundation including the magical math behind all of these concepts. 

• I think the structure is solid where you learn through recorded MIT lectures, and then continue to learn on your own and aided with industry experts who hold mentoring sessions. 
• Great value-add material to expand students' knowledge. 
• Additional case studies to help explaining various concepts. 
• Program Managers and staff follow up and support directly through instant messaging groups, excellent service provided. 
• Students are grouped based on timezone and other factors, works well and offers an opportunity to network and collaborate with likeminded professionals.

The 12 weeks I spent were not in vain, it was worth a lot.
In the beginning, I was not sure I would pass this course, because it is known that the data science course is quite tough, especially in combination with the busy working days, and surely if you have to pass the exams within a set deadline.
I was encouraged and convinced that it was feasible with the busy working days. To my surprise, I  achieved excellent scores.
The instructors were excellent, the learning session was well-explained.
The skills I have learned will certainly help me as a hardware/software support engineer in the future to make a career switch as a data scientist.

I am currently taking this course as a Product Manager at a Consulting firm. I would say my overall experience is great! This course offers an in-depth understanding of many ML Models as well as real-life examples of how to use these models. I also like the instructor led sessions where you can ask SMEs anything that might be of question to you. I don't see my-self creating and maintaining these models but this course gives me enough knowledge to understand what they are used for and how an engineer can go about creating and testing a model.
