This course while challenging and rigorous, has taught me a lot about machine learning and its practical use cases in a variety of industries. From predicting customer churn for banks to understanding renewable energy sources and how to optimize on that and utilizing a variety of AI techniques has given me an edge in the marketplace. This comprehensive program covers the entire data science pathway, from foundational theory to advanced deep learning models, and everything in between. The balance between technical depth and accessible breakdowns makes it perfect for both beginners and those with prior experience. I particularly enjoyed the emphasis on hands-on projects with real-world scenarios, which reinforced concepts in a practical manner. For participants less comfortable with coding, the business-leader track offers a lighter pathway by focusing on interpreting results and presenting business insights, though I recommend trying the full-code submissions since Python is surprisingly intuitive and the labs are structured for learning by doing. 

The scope of projects was amazing: detecting celestial objects, exploring computer vision, segmenting retail customers with clustering, predicting attrition for an EdTech company, and building recommendation systems from Amazon product reviews. Overall, the course was great in content, design, and applicability. My only caution is that the regression and prediction module felt particularly intense, so pacing yourself is key. Read less

The PGP AI/ML certification is a well structured and intense program for working professionals to help them understand basic and several advanced concepts in the field of AI and ML. This certification helped me connect the dots and get clarity around how I could benefit myself in my current/future role(s) from the advances in the field of AI/ML. The curriculum is well-paced, practical and sufficiently in-depth. The projects are very interesting and can be easily applied to simplification of some of the personal or work-related processes/problems.

Pros:

Cons:
I personally don’t see any cons to this program. One suggestion would be to set aside 1-2 hours daily to go over any new study material or to work on projects. Otherwise, it does get a little hectic to manage everything over the weekend. Read less

The course itself is very good.  They present some very complicated mathmatics in various sections, beyond what I would think most people are able to understand at that level.  However, if you focus on the underlying concepts and not the math itself it does help with the understanding of. the core concepts.  Plan to spend more time studying and reviewing the course materials than they suggest.  Overall a very rewarding course and I've learned a lot. Through Great Learning, I have had the honour to take a 12-Week course from MIT, one of the best universities in the world. Great Learning provided a unique experience for us as students to learn a well-achieved 21st century education that focused on No-Code AI with weekly lectures, learning resources, hands-on experience with No-Code AI tools as well as assisted with AI capabilities to prepare us for the needs of the new century and for us to be able to utilize our own AI learning which could latter lead us to build our very own. The courses mostly focused on Math and Statistics and lead us through the curriculum to experience AI tools that we can learn to use better for our personal and work lives combined. As the material can be accessed for 6 more months after the completion of the programme, we will have time to practice what we have learned at our own pace. What could be done better would mostly be to familiarize us with more AI tools to see multifarious options from which we can derive AI skills and mainly to learn the mind-mapping of an AI framework with more advanced MIT faculty resources used. The faculty and the Program Managers were both very friendly and personally accessible through the course and generally had a great experience learning both at MIT and through Great Learning. The career services were equally impactful, offering resume reviews, mock interviews, and strategies to transition into AI/ML roles. Overall, the program provided a perfect balance of academic rigor, practical exposure, and industry alignment.  This MIT IDSS data science course was quite the journey! It genuinely kept me on my toes, constantly diving into complex topics that often had me scrambling for answers and, well, asking a lot of questions here! From wrestling with messy datasets to finally making sense of intricate model outputs, every module was a real brain-teaser. While it definitely pushed my limits, the hands-on approach truly solidified my understanding. I'm walking away with a much deeper, practical grasp of data science principles. I joined the no code school, ot was great and the school was very good. The teachers were accommodating and helpful. The modules were a mix of good cover between basic data sciences and ML, generative AI was also part of it. It gets your knowledge up to scratch and from there you have to work hard to get the practice. Read less

I am a recent graduate of the Cloud Computing course, and I'm currently enrolled in the AWS Associate Solutions Architect Training Program at the time of this review. The instructors and staff at Great Learning are very accommodating and knowledgeable. The learning resources provided in the courses are quite thorough, although I often found that the Quiz questions dove deeper into the subject matter than the coursework. I feel that these courses are a great way to get started in cloud computing, but there is a considerable amount of individual effort that goes into absorbing the material in a practical manner. Overall, I'd say Great Learning goes above and beyond when compared to the cost of their programs vs. other modern education programs. Read less

Having recently graduated from a 4 month/8 CU program with Great learning course name: Making Data driven Decisions accredited through MIT - Institute of Data Science, Systems and Society on Data Science and AI. I am at a good starting have a base level understanding of the topic (basic python coding & conceptual understanding of clustering, regression, classification and recommendation systems). Objectively, Certification certainly has some value - job search perspective + gives you confidence to explore personal projects and other bootcamps + reach out to peers & there's networking support within which I haven't used yet. The program went through all the math behind the models which was great to know as you'd know why and when to use a certain model, it does a good prework if you ever haven't coded like me (professionally), & has enough levels of scaffolding for a novice to advanced. I saw some posts on other sites where folks were calling the program a fraud, and other prejudiced stuff on the delivery, I think it's a way of looking at it - I don't they promised a job right out of the course.  Read less

I applied for the course “No Code AI and Machine Learning: Building Data Science Solutions” with the goal of understanding the logic behind machine learning — and I can confidently say I’ve achieved that 100%. The course offers a variety of ways to learn, from mentoring sessions where instructors answer student questions, to assignment formats that don’t require a technical background. The study materials are clear and easy to understand, making the course accessible and highly recommended.

A comprehensive course to build a foundation in multiple aspects of AI & ML, powered by various hands-on projects and case studies. The recorded content is from MIT faculty supported by strong faculty from the Great Learning team, who meet weekly to take a deep dive into the topics. Great learning faculty offered additional office hours in case anyone needed additional help (Thank you, Abdul Hassan!!).
