I was skeptical when I started the course but it soon turned out to be very interesting and engaging! It was indeed a great course which provided a sound understanding of Ai and Machine Learning. The course material and exercises was pretty good. The faculty as well as the mentors from the industry did  a fantastic job in providing insights and clarifying doubts during the live weekend sessions.  The Olympus portal and dashboards were very convenient to use! The support from the Great Learning Program office (especially Pragya) was great! Overall, it was a great experience which covered concepts to coding as well as real life industry insights! Overall program was very well designed and had very in-depth coverings from basic to advanced topics. Quality of course contents was above my expectations and all the instructors who delivered the contents were professional with in-depth knowledge in this area with industry experience. All modules had real-world use cases and projects tailored to readily apply knowledge of that at work after completions. Overall support from program manager, instructors and team was awesome. This program is a wealth of information and would be valuable to anyone interested in data science or someone who works with data in their current field looking to increase their skillsets in data analysis, manipulation, and machine learning. There really is semesters worth of information packed within a blistering 12-week program, but even working a full-time job and a busy summer holiday schedule, I never felt overwhelmed with the workload. The MIT professor's lectures were clear and engaging, the Great Learning platform is easy to use and convenient, the program managers were available and helpful, and the live lectures with our assigned industry professional gave a ton of access for questions and discussion. The examples and case studies that are worked on throughout the course touch on many different industries and applications which I found to be very insightful. As someone changing career paths and just starting in data science, I feel much more prepared and focused. Read less

Just finished the PG Program for AIML from Texas McCombs, which is a very demanding online program. The program itself has a good structure, excellent material with videos, case studies, exercises, lots of quizzes and well researched articles that help in understanding and diving deeper into each subject. The mentoring sessions, with 10-15 student groups, are led by mentors who have years of industry experience. They are a truly valuable addition that helps to interact, clear doubts and walk-through additional case studies. After finishing the course, I feel that I have the right tools at hand to lead or architect a project that requires strong ML or DL knowledge.
The platform is excellent and also offers access through a mobile app, which enabled me to review the material while waiting for my daughter's ballet classes to finish. 
The course is so demanding and when employed full-time it seems very hard to reach the finish line, but with the program manager's support, the flexible options that they offer and most of all their understanding, it becomes much easier!
One thing to be mindful about is that the course is advertised as a 6-month course, but with an initial prep time of almost 2 months and breaks for holidays it actually takes 9 months to complete. For me this was not an issue as it helped me to refresh my Python skills and Statistics knowledge that are required to understand and work on the subjects, but for others that have time restrictions this might be helpful to know. Course Format: Recorded lectures by UT Austin McCombs instructors and others.  Weekly, live mentored sessions with a dedicated mentor, including about a dozen students.
Topics:  Good overview of AIML approaches.  Early topics focus on Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), simple classification and regression methods. Later topics progress into tuning hyperparameters for ensemble classifiers, Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
Projects:  About one project per month, whose due date is after two weeks of recorded lectures, two graded quizzes, and two mentored-learning sessions.  Projects are good at reinforcing the learning material, and require at least several hours of effort.  Fortunately, there are coding examples posted as part of each topic's learning material that serve as guidelines.
Tools:  Projects must be completed in Python (e.g., Pandas, Seaborn, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow Keras, NLTK).  Note: Some code examples are out-of-date (e.g., they use deprecated library routines).
Mentor: My cohort mentor was Subhodeep Dey, a working professional with a gift for teaching.  His mentoring sessions were filled with real-world insights, during which he sketched clear outlines of AIML topics using good visuals and minimal math.  He is patient, waiting for responses to relevant questions that he asks during the sessions.
Program Managers:  Sakshi and Pragya were our cohort's main points of contact for resolving issues, sending out gentle reminders about upcoming mentoring sessions, etc.  They were very professional and responsive.
Overall Assessment:  This online course is well worth the investment if you are looking to familiarize yourself with a broad overview of AIML using Python.  Keyword here is "broad", because if you wish to go "deep" you'll need to research and practice using slightly newer Python libraries and methods.  Fortunately, the project datasets allow one to do so and compare results to methods learned during class. The course was well structured . Excellent approach in starting from 
teaching fundamentals of statistics and gradually getting into core areas. I like 
the weekly Quizzes which keeps the learning continuous and interesting . The 
projects are well defined and aligns with real world use cases .Overall it was

The PG program in AI/ML by UT Austin was recommended to me, when I was looking to get some exposure into Data Science. My cohort started from Nov 2021 and I'm soon going to graduate in Aug 2022. This is my first experience with Great Learning and overall it has been a great one! This program allowed me to gain hands-on experience of AI/ML through weekly assessments, mentored sessions & projects. I was fortunate to have worked with a patient and knowledgable mentor. Great Learning has structured this program to adopt to the learner's schedule. They have fantastic support staff. My program manager, Lavina Agarwal was always a delight to work with. This is an excellent course. The course material are logically structured and well paced. The video lectures are good and covers the key points. On top of that, the online sessions conducted by Anchit were excellent and demonstrated practical usage of the key concepts.  Anchit provided key critical insights and bridged a lot of gap in my understanding an the implementation process.

Our Program Manager Arghya, kept me on track, with continuous follow-ups and provided guidance whenever I needed it. He planned out the entire course  week by week and that helped me adjust the pace as needed.
I have recommended this course to my friends and some of them have started their classes.

This was a terrific course. It totally exceeded my expectations. My background is mechanical engineering and teaching. This program was comprehensive, very well organized and provided the needed support to understand the concepts presented. The video modules and live sessions were paced well, the amount of information presented was not overwhelming and the instructors were very knowledgeable and patient.

The one shining aspect of the program was the support I received from my program director, Arghya Pal. I suffered a death and sickness with both my parents. Mr. Pal was there to support and work with me to be able to successfully  complete this class. That would not have been possible if not for his compassion and professionalism. I am very happy that I made the decision to take this course. The Great Learning platform (Olympus) is very easy to use and at the same time very complete. It has the necessary elements to help the learning process. The body of teachers and the system that they implement during the instruction is very well prepared and designed in such a way that the students, through the study and analysis of theory and practice, become familiar with the learning, the fields of application, the circumstances that determine the analysis, the different solutions that can be developed, how the different models are compared and the expectations of the results obtained as well as their interpretation in the development of conclusions and recommendations of the cases analyzed. The videos and support material are very consistent with the case studies and assignments. The mentor classes developed by Anchit Saxena are extremely interesting, transmitting with great skill and knowledge the topics studied during the week in such a way that it complements the assigned topics during the week. The work carried out by our Project Manager, Arghya Pal, has been essential to maintain the necessary spirit and motivation throughout this course. He has always been very attentive in knowing how I have carried out the study and learning process, attentive to hearing the opinions and experiences during the development of the course. In addition, he has always had the ability to attend to all the observations and requirements that I have made in a satisfactory manner and faster than expected. In particular, I congratulate both for the work they have been doing. PG diploma in cloud computing which is a 9 month course delivered by the great learning platform in conjunction with the University of Texas - Austin is one of the great online programs I have attended. It has both the flavors (Technical and Non-Technical). It provides a comprehensive technical know-how with relevant hands-on projects with a great amount of flexibility for working executives. I would strongly encourage and recommend this course for people who would like to embark upon the cloud journey and for people who are already experienced to connect with few great executives of cloud computing with decades of experience to learn and share. It is a great networking platform too.

 I joined Great Learning in November 2021 to pursue a PG program in Data science and business analytics. It is a great experience, I would say the course content is amazing, I continuously got program assistance from the Manager, Mr. Arghya Pal, the program instructor Mr. Rajan Patel, and the Academic support team. The faculty for the course is amazing. They explain difficult topics in a very simple way and it helps a lot to understand quickly for students who do not have a programming background. The course is designed in a way that after learning, you can apply the knowledge that you gained in your course. For the Sunday mentor session, Mr. Rajan Patel (our instructor) takes extra time to dive deep and explain us precisely the ongoing topic. Course Management by Mr. Arghya Pal is excellent, he gives his full attention to the students and sorts the issue very promptly. The academic team is very prompt to resolve queries regarding the course.
