Great Learning

The absolute pro here is the well guided course material + live classes with MIT professors and mentor learning sessions with GL trainers. Another pro are the project challenges, which really required me to get deeply into everything. Especially Machine Learning as well as Deep Learning fitted perfectly into my daily business. Another huge pro is the MIT-ADSP community. So many class mates based from all over the world made it very interesting.

The con is of course the timing. I needed way more time than initially anticipated, but from my final perspective it was really worth it :-)

Excellent program offered by Great Learning in collaboration with MIT. The course material starting from pre-work to each module is very thorough, in-depth and provides extra materials (as web links) across to give more knowledge.
Mentor training was very useful, as it provided smaller group sessions with the industry experienced mentors and gave in-depth intuition behind ML algorithms. 
Support staff (as in MIT session coordinators, program  advisors, program managers) were very knowledgeable and helpful through out this challenging course.

I participated in this course as an organizational leader and to develop an understanding and application for AI in the business environment.   The course provided an excellent overview and history of machine learning and AI and proceeded to dive into very detailed learning exercises to help understand how AI can be used to solve multiple business problems.  There was ample hands on opportunity to use various softwares without going too in depth with actual coding.   Overall the instructors and mentors were excellent.  I would recommend this course to those looking for a great introduction to managers and future systems personnel who will have responsibility for implementing and utilizing no code tools.   Read less

No Code AI and Machine Learning: Building Data Science Solutions

While the format of this course is condensed, it would be a misnomer to describe it as a primer, as it provides hands-on instruction and experience with ML based tools, which are both invaluable for those who wish to deploy AI and ML methods rapidly into their workflow, as well as those seeking to expand into more technical areas.  Upon completing this course, students will have a fundamental understanding of how and when to apply AI and ML systems, what is involved in doing so, be able to evaluate and improve models towards a particular objective, and characterize the benefits and limitations of such systems.  It is hard to overstate the value this skill set provides learners.

Structure
The courses are broken up into various modules that build on the skills and understanding gained through the previous.  Each module features a précis and text & video format instruction, and live instruction with expert faculty.  Great consideration is shown for workload to ensure that the pace is amenable to even the busiest schedules.  The concerted efforts of MIT and Great Learning staff have created a well curated syllabus delivered through a perspicuous interface.

Resources and Faculty
No less impressive than the course and it's content are the incredible array of people and tools at the disposal of learners.  I had the great experience of working with two amazing advisors who truly inspired me with their devotion to ensuring success.  The platform makes provision for students to reach out to other students, faculty, and advisors readily, and multiple channels of communication are provided so that students stay apprised and on top of each step.

Tools & Skills
The program gives participants experience using powerful tools like RapidMiner and Dataiq so that they can immediately integrate their understanding in practice.  Perhaps more importantly, the fundamental principals underlying the mechanisms and metrics of how these tools operate, such as linear regression, k-mean clustering, partial autocovariance functions, loss functions, et. al. are packaged like nested matryoshka dolls, ensuring that students receive the essential understanding, but allowing those interested a range of academic materials, links and resources to explore the topics at greater depth.

Value
This course is both an excellent first step into the realm of data science and ML AI applications or a concomitant to a robust technical background.  While this course is not all encompassing, (it does not entail coded applications, nor is it a surrogate for an graduate degree), it's value in terms of utility is profound as most of the demand for AI and ML applications will be from small to mid-size companies that do not have the resources to commit special data science professionals and compute to their particular use cases and will need both guidance and rapidly deployable solutions of the type that are particularly amenable to the no code tools offered in this course.

MIT No Code AI & ML Course 
There is a lot of good to say about this course. It is both densely theoretical and heavily practical. Theory is really important to understand what is behind the scenes of AI and ML. It would be useless to just learn to handle software w/o this knowledge. Instructors are very good, but I think there is a lot to learn from Dr. Huettenegger style, both because of the precise content of his lectures, but also his concise language, as well as his clarity and emphasis on the right issues and moments. A really good instructor with a great lecturing style.
My industry Mentor (Denver Dias) was also precise in the mentoring sessions and on his answers to our questions. Overall, very good.
My Program Officer (Priyanka Kothari) was great in keeping us posted and updated of scheduled sessions and coming assessments and projects. She was also super attentive to our pace of learning and understanding of our other responsibilities (most, if not all learners, worked full-time).
The workload may seem heavy at times (most of the time). Easily 5 to 10 net hours/week of material to review (videos, handouts, presentations) plus 2 hours of mentored mandatory sessions and another 2 of non-mandatory practice per week. Everything is recorded, so it is accessible later if anything was missed or needs to be reviewed. Assessments are 15 to 30 minutes more (not a big deal) and projects can be heavy. Only three projects during the entire course, but between 10 and 20 hours of work each (it could just be me). Those were hard, but also rewarding "real" challenges.
Just one comment about the recorded lectures, their written transcripts were mostly word-by-word transcripts of the lecture including repetitions, unclear wording and everything that is common in an actual verbal presentation. These texts could be simplified. Editing those written transcripts for clear and clean language would be beneficial.
Overall, highly satisfied and amazed I got involved into such a long, deep, and hopefully transformative experience. Highly recommendable but be sure to be prepared for everything I described above. Read less

I am half way through the course and would like to say that this is a fantastic learning platform and setup. While there it's hard to match the MIT sessions & lectures, the Great learning Olympus platform is wonderful learning platform is a comprehensive learning platform that is very easy to use and provides great collaboration, course material, access to industry, talent and career paths too. Even better are the wonderful staff and support personnel who are very responsive and supportive. I had great experience with my coordinator who helped me be on top of the course, provided flexibility in accomplishing my goals and responded to all the feedback on lectures with action. AI and ML are a big topic in the energy field these days. I have coding experience but my professional progression is taking me away from my computer more and more. When I heard about the No Code AI and Machine Learning course I decided to give it a try and it has been an amazing experience. The teachers are very knowledgable and the content is very  detailed and hands-on for those who work want to dive deep on this topic. At the same time, the program allows students with limited time or in a management position, to take an approach focused  on understanding the theory and defining the  methods to solve the problems. At first, I thought how much I can learn via online platform. After listening to few videos and taking assessments online via Great Learning was a game-changer. I am really impressed with how this platform is built to support online learning. Score card, dashboard, course tracking, attendance I can keep going everything has been thoroughly thought out. And the assistance you get from Program Manager is really great. I haven't used the community and career help yet, but I have high hopes with it. In retrospect, this program caught me by surprise. Expecting it to be your usual online video recordings turned out to be the contrary.  
It turned out to be thoughtfully structured and brutally fair in a way that provides all that is necessary for one to succeed and the rest is up to the individual. 
This program, from the onset, prepares everyone with Pre-Work courses that allows each individual the time to adapt to the curriculum load.

The curriculum is fashioned to keep everyone engaged and challenged with real-world problems.  This intensive and immersive program equips everyone with pre-reads and actual reading materials before each topic. This then is followed with actual live lectures from MIT and Great Learning professors with expertise in the relevant topics.  These lectures are concluded with Q&A sessions where the teachers provide additional time included with other associates to help clear up any confusion! In addition to this, the support also extends to dedicated program managers who are continually available and provide resolutions to each students situation.
It doesn't end there.  The courses also have mentored sessions to further ensure that students clearly understand the material with help from mentors !  Lastly, the courses also include practice quizzes and practice/guided projects, and actual quiz assessments and assigned projects and finalized with an insightful Capstone project - all this makes up quite a recipe for satisfying one's data science appetite.

The learning journey was engaging and enjoyable and the MIT/Great Learning course's approach clearly demonstrated a priority and commitment to ensure that students were always in a position to succeed.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) are state-of-the-art technological advancements that have assumed even greater significance in today's day and age.  The rate and scale of their deployment across industries for multiple use cases is accelerating at a tremendous pace and companies across the spectrum of industries have already started implementing AI-based solutions. However, we are still at a very nascent stage and there will be an explosion of specialized skills needed in this domain to enable this transformation in the near to mid term.

After having spent over 30 years in sales and business development, I felt it was the right time for me to pivot my career in this domain to stay relevant for future employment/consulting opportunities. I was also aware of my lack of skill and interest in learning coding or programming, so I had to look for a program that would enable me to achieve the stated objective without the need to learn coding. I found the answer in the Online course, No-Code AI and Machine Learning-Building Data Science Solutions Program offered by MIT through Great Learning.   

As one would expect from a world-class institution like MIT, the curriculum is extremely well structured with modules covering different topics spaced out over 6 months. An investment of 6-8 hours per week worked just fine. The video tutorials by highly esteemed MIT professors are well-articulated and in a manner that is easy to comprehend. However, basic knowledge of math and statistics will be even better. The MCQ format assessments at the end of each module reinforce the understanding of the concepts. There are plenty of case studies for each module that one can refer to at their leisure and the best part is the 2-hour live Mentored Learning Sessions every week. The Mentors are reputed Industry professionals with deep knowledge and experience in the domain of AI/ML. All these are further complemented by hands-on workshops on the no-code tools by mentors from Great Learning. I enjoyed working on the 3 Projects based on real-life problems, where we demonstrated our understanding of the problem, the methodologies to derive business insights and finally provide recommended solutions.  In summary, the entire course offered an extremely well-rounded understanding of the AI concepts, no-code ML tools used for analytics, and recommendations which I believe will be very valuable as we step into the world of AI.   

Finally, I cannot thank enough the Great Learning Program team who made the entire learning experience so comfortable and seamless. I especially wish to call out Ruchika Jain, Program Manager for her prompt, enthusiastic, and efficient support in addressing the subject or platform-related queries and concerns throughout this journey.
