Reviewing Chicago Booth AI Transformation and Leadership. This was a rewarding 10 week course, taught by top notch faculty. Participation in the course has definitely left me better prepared for AI strategic planning activities. The curriculum was paced well and sequenced logically. Supporting materials were sourced from widely recognized 'best in class' consulting/research firms. Weekly use cases provide a good forum to foster applied knowledge. The faculty was sterling. Arup made lessons approachable and tethered to reality, James' Masterclasses and weekly recorded lessons were engaging. It was a great experience start to finish. Program support was consistent throughout. Our program manager Juhi did a nice job brokering discussions with the students throughout the course. -

This program（Applied AI and Data Science Program） covers rich and comprehensive topics, ranging from Python basics and Statists fundamentals to applying AI and data science in real-world scenarios. My favorite part is the large collection of practical code examples. The pre-reading materials are also very helpful because they extract the math and computing theories in a concise way, saving me from reading lengthy background books. I also enjoyed interacting with professors and industry mentors during the live sessions.
However, digesting all this knowledge in just four months is quite challenging, especially while working full-time.
I highly recommend this program to professionals who already have some computer background and want to strengthen their hands-on skills. But for complete beginners without related experience, the fast pace might be difficult to keep up with. -

What I particularly appreciate about the program is the well-structured curriculum, practical approach, and exposure to relevant tools and techniques. The course has helped me strengthen my understanding of AI and Data Science while also developing a more practical, problem-solving mindset.
A special mention goes to Rashi, the Program Manager, who has been extremely supportive, approachable, and helpful throughout the program. Rashu is always responsive to questions and concerns and makes sure that participants have the guidance and support they need. The program strengthened my knowledge of Python, data analysis, machine learning, deep learning, Generative AI, and the practical application of data science techniques to real-world business problems.One of the program’s greatest strengths was the combination of MIT faculty lectures, hands-on assignments, mentored learning sessions, and practical projects. This structure helped me move beyond theoretical concepts and develop a clearer understanding of how to build, evaluate, interpret, and communicate AI and data science solutions.The Capstone Project was especially valuable because it required me to apply the knowledge acquired throughout the program to solve a business problem from end to end. From data preparation and model development to performance evaluation and the final presentation, the project significantly increased my confidence in applying data science in professional environments.Completing the program while maintaining a full-time career in consulting required considerable dedication. I gave up many weekends with my family and invested several additional hours after work, often studying from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Although demanding, the experience was worth the effort.I am completing the program with stronger technical skills, a better understanding of responsible and interpretable AI, and a greater ability to connect technology, data, and business strategy. As an executive, one of my main objectives was not only to learn the technical concepts, but to become better equipped to engage with data, analytics, and technology teams in more meaningful conversations. The program helped me build a stronger understanding of data science, machine learning, and Generative AI from both a business and technical perspective, allowing me to better connect strategic objectives with analytical methods, model outputs, and implementation considerations.One of the most valuable parts of the program was the project-based structure. For the capstone, having the option to choose from multiple business and technical project areas helped me better understand the expected outcomes and select a project that aligned with my own business interests. The project then walked me through the technical concepts in a practical way, while the guided questions pushed me to think analytically about the problem, the data, the methodology, the results, and the business recommendations.The program was challenging, but the support made a meaningful difference. The program manager and support staff were responsive, approachable, and quick to help with questions, technical issues, or submission concerns. The teaching staff and professors were also very knowledgeable, open to Q&A, and generous with their time, including sharing additional ways to connect and ask follow-up questions outside of class. The Applied AI and Data Science Program was exactly what I had hoped it would be. I was specifically looking for something that went in depth on Data Science and not just go straight into AI so that I’d have a deeper foundation. The program is more comprehensive than many of the other certifications that I looked into. Since it covers so much information, the time you invest into it will determine how much you will get out of it. The professors did a good job introducing you to the mathematics if you wanted to go deeper into it but also made sure to get the concepts across for those of use who don’t have a math degree. It’s still useful even though I didn’t have a math degree because python handles the underlying calculations as long as I understood what it does, why it works that way, when to use it and how to interpret the results. Every module had a coding component to make application concrete. The lectures with MIT professors were more conceptual and the weekend sessions with the mentors focused on the code application. I appreciated that recordings of the weekday sessions could be watched at a later time for the purposes of attendance credit since most of us in the cohort had day jobs. The recordings of the lectures and mentor sessions are available for a year post the program and I expect I’ll revisit the recordings as I apply the techniques over the coming months. There are also 2 tracks: code from scratch or low code that focuses more on the interpretation and conceptual application of the techniques. This is useful because it tailors the program to people with different roles at work, and makes the content accessible for those who don’t have a programming background. The low code version still exposes you to code so you still get concrete experience. Each cohort is assigned a program manager who is there to support you every step of the way. My program manager, Urvashi, was amazingly supportive. She proactively reach out throughout the program to help you stay on track to complete it. It was also helpful to have one person to go to with all of my questions (logistics, content etc.) and if its a topic she didn’t cover she would route us to the appropriate person. The program includes a job assistance module that I did not use so I didn’t rate it. -

I am so glad I chose Great Learnings as the platform to learn artificial intelligence and machine learning. Their pairing with John’s Hopkins University was unique and made available PH.D level instructors and their perspectives on the current and future states of AI integration. The course work was appropriately challenging whether you were a novice like me or experienced like others. The weekly live sessions were taught by people well experience in their fields. They were able to answer all questions or point you to the proper resource if they didn’t know the answer. Lastly, our Program Manager Miriam, was very supportive. Whenever someone needed support or a voice she was there to facilitate that and ensure the student stayed on track in the course. -

I had a great experience with the Applied Data Science Program by MIT Professional Education. The website is very intuitive and easy to use, and the lessons are clearly explained.What I appreciated most is that the program does not only provide theory. There are many examples, code exercises, complementary learning materials, and guided projects. In the guided projects, you code together with the instructor, which makes it much easier to understand the logic step by step instead of just reading already finished code.Overall, it was a very valuable learning experience. The structure, explanations, practical examples, and additional resources make the program highly effective for anyone who wants to build a solid foundation in applied data science.

The program starts with into introductory classes in Python and statistics and then manages to go quite deep into data science, and covers a broad range of data science & AI techniques, both in theory and practice. Their online learning platform is great for self studying around the lectures, and they provide great program management support. I learned a lot in a relatively short amount of time -

During my No Code AI and Machine Learning: Building Data Science Solutions certification time, I was able to learn AI and ML from a very technical point of view, and a bit hands-on Rapid Miner. It's good to study at my once pace, although it requires weekly dedication. Mehak was a very supportive, comprehensive and communicative Program Manager. She made my life easier and clarified all questions, both for the modules and the projects. She's great! I'll come back for another course. -

I recently completed the AI certificate program from the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering, delivered through Great Learning, and it greatly exceeded my expectations.Great Learning's organization and program leadership stood out immediately. The curriculum was thoughtfully sequenced, building from Python, to applied machine learning, into generative AI and agentic systems in a way that created real, cumulative understanding. Schedules, deadlines, and resources were communicated clearly and well in advance, and the program team was consistently responsive. A lot of care went into structuring the experience so that working professionals could keep pace.The mentors were outstanding. They brought serious technical depth along with the ability to explain difficult concepts clearly and patiently. Their feedback was specific and constructive, and they were generous with their time during live sessions and even "as-needed" during projects. Their help in connecting theory to real-world practice made a meaningful difference in what I retained.The capstone hackathon was the perfect close. After 22 weeks of skill-building, applying everything under friendly time pressure was both challenging and genuinely fun, and it left me with something tangible to show for the effort.I'd recommend this program without hesitation to anyone looking to build practical, current AI skills. -

The AI and Data Science course offered by Great Learning in collaboration with MIT IDSS was phenomenal. They offered a variety of case studies covering multiple domains retail, pharmacy, e-commerce etc. the hands on projects and weekly mentored sessions were extremely helpful in understanding the concepts. The syllabus is rigorous so have to dedicate 15-20 hours per week at a minimum. Wish there was a synopsis of study material at end of each topic. But overall highly satisfied and learned a lot during this 12 week course. Highly recommend it.
