My Life Changed After I graduated from CyberNow Labs. When I just came to the United States, I wasn't speaking fluent English and had a tough time surviving financially. I found a job at the hostel as a receptionist for $12 an hour after I received my working permit. And it was the biggest happiness for me because I had a job!!! Because, I was an asylum seeker, and never felt secure, Always had to ask for help from others.
 
I didn't imagine that there is a possibility of working in the IT industry for me. And again, I never thought that I am smart enough to work for Cybersecurity companies because it sounds cool and hard to get hired. But my life changed when I met a kind lady by chance in the coffee shop when I attended the meetup group to practice my English. I had a long conversation with her because we had similar experiences in life, but she got a happy ending. With her explanation,  encouragement, I emailed a couple of boot camps including the CyberNow Labs. Some boot camps called me back on the same day. After speaking with all of them, I decided to join. Because I didn't have many options to choices in this country for getting high salary job. I could quit in two weeks if I can not make it, but I also need to live a better life after going through a lot my life.

So, while I am studying here, had too many challenges. Especially about academic words, since I was still improving my language skill. But I  had to keep working for my rent, tuition fee, and daily expenses. Classes were heavy for me in the beginning. I don't remember how many times I cried and thought to give up. Thankfully CyberNow Labs has a career support team, mentors, and caring instructors. Everyone helped me. I won't mention their technical skills or the program. Because quality speaks itself, and I am the one of examples, I got the job as Cybersecurity Analyst!!! after 8 months hardworking and with their help. I wasn't perfect, and I used to be one of the weakest students in the class when we started. The only thing I did is, I didn't give up. The class program was very professional and detailed. I just had to keep studying, getting unlimited support from these fabulous people,  that's all. 

Let me make it long to short. The CyberNow Labs, might not be on the top boot camps list yet, for now. As I know, CyberNow Labs even put any advertisement to nowhere. Because people keep coming after they saw their success. I can tell that they will be at the top of the course report soon. If you want to change your life, don't hesitate. Just go and try! If I did it, you can do it!

I hope CyberNow Labs improve more about the resume assistance part, sometimes had to wait for feedback about our resume since too many students are waiting.

Cybernow Labs is a great opportunity for anyone to get into cybersecurity. This applies to those who don't have much computer experience or those looking to move into cybersecurity from another technical field. I myself had some computer experience as mostly a user and I was able to go through their 3 step program successfully and land a great position as an MSOC Analyst. First they prepare you to get a Comptia Security+ certification. Then they teach you actual SOC work in a real SOC environment by working real offenses as an analyst using the best industry tools! Then they help you with resume building, Interview prep and practice to help you land your first cyber security position. This is an awesome program where YOU can become a cybersecurity analyst and begin the journey into your new career. They're very good at preparing you for certification exams, providing hands-on training in real SOC environment and tackling with your job interviews. Your background or age is not that much important for them. You don't even have to have an IT or cybersecurity background. The instructors are very experienced and helpful. They're always ready to answer your questions. What can somebody new to this sector want more than this? They're making your life easier for you. Read less

I deeply regret investing time and money ($5,000) which I paid upfront to CNL. I feel they knowingly oversold the potential of the program by claiming that access to tools and hands on experience would help me stand out as a job candidate. What sold me was CEO Gave Schrade’s false statistic of an 86% job placement rate, which is actually closer to 2-3%.  You can see the career placement posts on LinkedIn and count them which is a very modest average 2-4 per month which is in sharp contrast to an 86% success rate, in which there would be career placement announcements daily.   In my cohort of 40, only one person landed a role even four months after the cohort ended, which he did by his own efforts and with no help from the school.  CNL does not have any relationships with any companies, so the parade of logos featured on the website is highly misleading.   The thing I find most concerning is that the program also targets green card holders by telling them they can help students with VISA challenges when virtually every job application screens for VISA status.  There is a growing number of students who are filing reports with consumer and government agencies for these practices. 
The instruction is great and there is support outside of the classroom.  You do have access to Splunk, Sentinel One, CrowdStrike, QRadar, Proofpoint, and Armis in which you get to practice triaging real alerts.  However, the tuition you are paying is for these licenses and instructions only.  There are no career placement services as advertised during the Zoom info sessions. You get one resume review, access to Huntr to track your applications (which has little value since LinkedIn also does this) and access to mentor sessions where you can practice role playing for job interviews that you will never secure. CNL is praying upon people with the deep ambition to transition careers with full knowledge that they will not succeed and do not have the relationships to help students secure careers.

I am one of the graduates of Cybernow Labs and graduated in May 2023. The courses and classes are professional, but they keep telling you and making you believe you will land a job right after completing the course. During the course, I learned and experienced many industry tools, and they also help you to pass the CompTIA Security+ exam. However, after the course ends, they stop working with you, and you're alone in your job search. All they care about is getting you involved and getting your money, not helping you to get a job.

I've experienced that many companies require AWS or Azure experience, which this course never mentioned. You need to acquire them by yourself.

It's been a year for me and still have not been hired. I would not recommend this course if you are a self-learner. Read less
