My experience with CourseCareers has been great ! For starters the courses are self paced which helps if you have a full time job and simply all of the other daily responsibilities in life . The course directs you step by step with much needed and useful information to set you up for success . Learning with CourseCareers has been visual as well as hands on . The course was fast paced. Even though it is, it hits on all the things that you need to get started in I.T. help desk and careers of that sort. The Instructor was honest, understanding, and keep to the basics of I.T.. I finished my course within a week!!! I'm currently looking for I.T. jobs right now. I like how the curriculum is constructed. Reading the books in the course definitely help to adjust ones mindset to become an effective SDR. I enjoy the community aspect of the course. Being able to interact with students at different levels of completion has been crucial to how I chose to approach completing the course myself. I also like how the course creator is accessible and engages with the students in the discord community. I wish that there were some videos of mock cold calls and of the SPIN technique being done. I also wish that the biweekly in person class ordeal was a bit more clear. I wanted to use that feature to help since I learn best by rehearsal but it seemed to not really exist if it were not student led. I assumed there would be a head coach demonstrating techniques sunday and wednesday. Otherwise, I love that this is self paced and an affordable opportunity to get training that leading to a role in the tech industry. Read less

I was able to go through the course while working full time and finish. There is so much new information that I learned taking this course and it wasn’t challenging to learn. The biggest take away for me was I began to see sales differently and understanding with b2b sales it’s all about building relationships. I am very pleased with my Course Careers experience thus far. Admittedly, I chose this bootcamp because I couldn't afford some of the others out there; In hindsight, that was the best decision I could've made because the course is exceeding my expectations and I feel very confident that I will be prepared to secure a job upon completion. The course is designed to meet people wherever they are at (self paced, full time, part time options). The material is very clear and easy to understand. I look forward to utilizing the Coaching option as I get closer to interview prep.

- Videos broken down into digestable bits - Books are relevant to the course, and discussed in the course videos- Other industry experts share their insights as well- Videos can be played at whatever speed is helpful (I value this because I prefer to watch things at 1.25-1.5x speed) Read less

I started CourseCareers on the 1st of December 2022, for the tech sales course and by the end of the month I had a couple of interviews lined up early January 2023. I even had a job offer where a recruiter had reached out to me offering a Software Research Analyst, he mentioned that it was because of how my profile looked like a good fit for the role and this would not have happened without the lessons taught in CourseCareers. I took this course due to finding out about sales on YouTube, the thing that really drove me to do it is the fact that it is self pace, and they let you do bi-weekly payments. While learning you get access to all these amazing resources and get to connect with so many likeminded individuals with similar goals. You are also instructed to read/listen to 3 books that are amazing since they are applicable even after you have taken the course unlike some college book you will never use again, They are also very cheap. CourseCareers provides the toolset to quickly establish yourself within the Tech Sales space. Troy has integrated a streamlined system, tools, and resources that have helped many achieve their goals. CourseCareers also has a pay as you go plan available for those hesitant, with a full refund within the first 2 weeks. However, you will be left at your own pace and drive to complete the course, so everything relies on your will and determination to reach the outcome. 

 Pros: The resources provided are a gold mine, and are very simple to understand. Anyone who has a background in customer service or sales will immediately feel comfortable getting started. 

Cons: The material is presented in mostly pre-recorded video/slides and may often feel slightly empty. It is done in a way that anyone can work through the course at any moment, but this leads to often feeling like you are on your own. Internship is not guaranteed, you will have to prepare for interviews as if you are doing this on your own, however carrying the CourseCareers banner will help you stand out amongst the applicants.

It was a easy going process and CourseCareers provides all the information you’ll need to succeed in this field. Everything is self-paced  and you can do this course if your on a busy schedule. I finished in a month and it gives me that sense of accomplishment to complete something and show that I can do anything I put my mind too! I cannot recommend CourseCareers enough to anyone looking to start a career in the tech industry. The course not only served as a solid foundation in the basics of Information Technology and Helpdesk, but also provided an in-depth introduction to a variety of concepts including hardware, binary code, and operating systems.
