Poor, Scam, Not worth it
This is overall a scam. You're not going to learn these skills well enough to be employed in 4 months. The best you can do is build a decent resume and probably get a few interviews but you will not get hired. They teach good foundational skills but you should go to an accredited college over this if you really want to learn this field. -

Throughout the course, I learned about the importance of data literacy and its practical applications in various scenarios. Particular topics that stood out for me were Excel data analysis using V-LOOK UP, INDEX/MATCH, and PIVOT Tables. The task was to apply data literacy skills to real-world scenarios and comprehensively understand different data-related challenges and solutions. I actively engaged in hands-on exercises and mini-projects related to data literacy skills, such as calculating order prices in a convenience store, quantifying business problems, interpreting charts and tables, and creating data visualizations. I utilized tools like Excel, SQL, and data visualization using Tableau software to analyze and present data effectively. -

i never thought i would finished Data Analytics. In the first place , one of my colleague told me if i have a background in coding, and when i said no, he was shaking his head.
nevertheless i took it as a challenge. to my surprise i even graduated with honors. I love Data Analytics. Correlation was awesome , all the instructor and facilitator was great. nothing else i could ask for more. -

I was very excited to join Correlation One, and given the acceptance rate (<5% of applicants are admitted into the program), I was starting to have dreams of a FAANG job, money bags, financial freedom, and I was just really excited.
The actual team (teaching assistants, lecturers, organizational leaders) were all great. The music was always on point, the professional development topics were engaging, and the career assistance was very good as well.
With THAT being said, be very, very careful before you accept admittance into this boot camp. As a data professional, the 5 hour long Saturdays were very long and hard, the content moved at a snail's pace, and even though they talk about "getting the bag" (in other words, getting a big salary), with the skills acquired from this boot camp alone, it is simply not enough to land a data science position. This is VERY important to know to manage your expectations about this boot camp.
Also, it is important to know that this boot camp isn't with bureaucracy and some level of politicking. Everyone who is employed by C-1 will protect C-1's name, even to go so far as to not respond to messages when you raise your concerns.
The group projects are something tangible you can speak about in an interview, but they are very luck of the draw. You'd have to great teammates (hopefully, some already understand statistics, machine learning, and data modeling), who are engaged, and should have a project that draws at least some interest. This was not the case for me at all -- I did have great teammates, but the level of data professional was very novice, and the topic that was selected for our project was very dull. I tried many times to convince my teammates to do a deeper dive into the data to find more interesting things to talk about, but it never amounted to anything. Our teaching assistant (TA) that we were assigned was relatively useless -- and I know that sounds harsh, but when you are given meaningless feedback that doesn't help you or your team (on both the project and assignments), you do not grow.
The career information and career assistance was very good, but I wouldn't consider it great. There are partnerships that C1 has with some organizations, but when you apply on the C1 job dashboard (they'll tell you how exclusive their dashboard is), it seems like the job application sort of goes into a black hole -- I've worked with the career counselors (the best part of the program, in my opinion), to get my resume to a point that I should be getting interviews, but I didn't hear back from a single company I applied for through the C1 job board. Also, to make matters worse, there is someone in the organization whose main job is to screen resumes/applications before sending them out to job partners. This is problematic for so many reasons as they are not the one's doing the hiring, and knowing the fellows, there good be some level of favoritism.
In short, my tl;dr is as follows:
GOOD -- most of career assistance stuff, networking, PD
BAD -- very slow and unengaging lectures, 5 hours of instruction (terrible pedagogy), may assist you in landing an entry-level analyst position, but you can forget about a data science position at FAANG. Also, some of the assigned mentors & TAs just weren't great, after speaking to many of my cohort members. The mentors could be something that separates C1 from other boot camps, and it was exciting to know that we would have mentors. Many mentors were unavailable, unhelpful, and just disrespectful of the fellows' time
Overall -- if you are looking for an entry-level position in data and don't know how to code in Python, this could be great for you. If you already have data experience, to me, this isn't worth your Saturdays. -

An opportunity to keep growing
I was selected to join the DS4A course. It was a great experience and it allow me to change to a new job, I know topics could be difficult for new students with any experience in data. But once you have learned the main topic, it is worth it.
This course is focused on Data Science, since how to handle data, statistics from descriptive to hypothesis testing, ML algorithm and deep learning -

Muy buena enseñanza, excelentes maestros y gran sistema de TA´s. Muy completo, va desde copiar y pegar valores en excel, hasta cómo hacer tablas dinamicas, SQL y python. Se dan las bases necesarias para manejar las herramientas y se centra en el análisis y resaltar la importancia y las cosas que se podrían hacer con ellas. Muy completo y exaustivo, se aprenden muchas cosas en 6 semanas. -

Hay dos puntos de partida en mi vida:
1. Una de las cosas que siempre he soñado, acceso a la educación gratuita y de calidad. No todos tenemos acceso a las mismas oportunidades y ojalá esa persona que está en lo más recóndito de Colombia que anhela tener un futuro más cómodo que aquél por el que pasa su familia encuentre un día una oportunidad como esta. Ojalá su camino sea mucho más fácil y sus cargas más livianas.

Data Sciense For All Colombia is an intensive 13-week training program covering topics such as data cleaning and visualization with Python, statistical testing, OSL regression, logistics, decision trees, Random Forest, Naive Bayes and KNN. Each session is led by an expert from top universities. The TAs are willing to help you with your questions and support you in the final project. The content is truly amazing and rigorous. DS4A is one of the best options to get into machine learning models.
The only downside is that there are so many topics to learn in such a short time, so perhaps a longer duration of the program could be very beneficial. Overall, I think everyone who takes the program agrees that DS4A is one of the best options to learn, it is inclusive (sponsored by the Colombian government). The people behind this initiative are really good human beings. -

DS4A - Colombia was a real complete program, I was a student with very low programing skills, the program was design for encourage collaboration, empathy and teamwork and that environment let me learn faster. This program isn't just technical, it have very interessat sessions with experts that talk about their life experiences and it would motivate to continue learning . The Teacher Assistants were very supporting, diligent and capables. The Instructors were high qualified and with the best energy ever, empathetic and very skillful persons.
I start very scared, I was so inexpert but all the colaborators motivate me to finish the program, now I'm Teacher assistant for the program and that make me feel so proud, and allows me to motivate more people to continue learning. The program offered a job application process where many fellows applied for great job opportunities, and that is a new motivation to change the job carrer. -

This program gave me the tools and knowledge to start my datascience journey. it was an amazing experience with great instructors aand teaching assistants. the curriculum was well structures to guide you through every subject, and the lectures were pretty intense, filled with a lot of knowledge. you need to take some time outside the lectures to practice if your're not familiar with python. The review and extended cases gave me a lot of practice to improve my skills every week, and the capstone project was really usefull to put in practice everything we learn through the course. -

Correlation One is the best place where you get professional training and coaching to be a certified data analyst. I really appreciate the professional lectures, well organized course materials, Talent CSC and excellent support and follow up of the Training program. I had no experiences in data analytics when I join the training. But the courses are designed step by step to be familiarized with courses without stress. With the extensive support of TAs and my best efforts, I found myself among the data analytics fellows after few months. Correlation one is one of the best institutions I had the pleasure of joining for in my career. Not only did it have a unique training method to keep the trainees focused and on schedule, but the constant communication and follow up helped lift our spirits in challenging the class/work situations.

Correlation One Data Analytics was an very good experience. I learned skills I never imagined learning in such a short time period. The instructors were very informative, the workload and deadlines were flexible enough for a work/life balance. All you need a discipline and consistency and you can succeed. There was a lot of support from TAs, mentors, career development coaches, and instructors - all for free. Above everything, my peers in this program are an amazing group of women and I'm excited to follow everyone's careers. Doesn't reply to emails in a timely manner

When trying to apply to their Salesforce Admin class, first, their applications screen had me stuck in a loop so I sent them an email. After a week or no reply, their system started sending me reminders to finish my app. I'm trying! Help me!!! I replied to the reminder and finally was told the problem was fixed. Now, it is 2 days before the start of the course and, again, I emailed them several days ago to say I need to know if I am accepted ASAP so I can apply for my Amazon voucher ASAP because class is about to start! No response. I am starting to look for other Salesforce Admin classes given by other training companies because this is a horrible recommendation for what my class experience might be like if I have questions or have a problem.
