I just wrapped up my journey through Coding Temple's Part Time Python Bootcamp and I cannot express the level of gratitude I have for the people at CT! Between the beginning of April this year and now, I not only was going through their bootcamp, but also moved from CA to CO, planned a wedding and got married! Through it all, the staff at Coding Temple demonstrated just how committed they are to supporting me as one of their students! They provided extensions and the flexibility I needed to finish the program well! In all my research leading up to committing to Coding Temple, what made them stand out from the crowd was their emphasis on individualised attention! They live up to what they say on their website - as long as you are willing to do the work of messaging them and asking for help as you need it - they want you to understand the curriculum and find a balance between taking the time to do the work and keeping up with the day-to-day.
The program's main priority as far as curriculum is exposure. They know that 12 weeks is not enough time to cover everything about everything, but they do a solid job of giving you the essentials about HTML, CSS, Python, Flask, SQL, JavaScript, React with as much of Pandas and NumPy added onto the end before starting the final capstone project.
Most important are the instructors and staff, just like any other class or course, a teacher can make or break a class and I truly could not have made it through this bootcamp without Nate, Marcus and Nicole pushing me in the right direction each week!

TLDR: My experience at Coding Temple was very positive - I thought they had a well-rounded approach to teaching me and my cohort the technical and non-technical sides of learning how to code and transitioning into a career. I highly recommend it for those interested in software engineering, especially if you don’t have any coding experience. They have amazing staff - job support (Marlene) is there for you and wants you to succeed. However, their curriculum was not as in-depth as I wanted it to be for data-analytics part of the course.----There’s a lot of resources out there that can teach you how to code. For me, learning on my own from scratch felt slow and I wasn't sure what direction I wanted to go with it. With Coding Temple, I got to ask all the questions I couldn’t ask to an 8 hour-long YouTube tutorial and that helped me process and apply what I learned better. The curriculum covered a good variety (Advanced Python, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, SQL, Flask, React & Data Analytics) of topics so I feel like I got just enough exposure to understand the basics and dive deep into a project at the end of each week. At the same time, I think the curriculum could be more in-depth with data analytics. During the data analytics part of the course, there were a couple days when class ended early and we mainly covered how to code for data analytics (Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib). It would've been nice to cover different algorithms/machine learning concepts. Regardless, I’ve come to realize learning doesn’t end with the bootcamp, and I feel like I got a good understanding of programming and basic concepts from the classes to give me the push I needed to learn on my own and create personal projects afterwards.My instructor Joel and TA Terrell were very patient and committed to helping me & my cohort understand the content. As long as you are also patient and committed to the process (whether that’s trying to debug your code, figuring out a solution for your problem, understanding a confusing concept), they are there to do it with you. The small class sizes (mine was ~10) were definitely helpful, I felt like there was a comfortable environment for us to ask questions and collaborate together. This might be a different experience for everyone, but my tip is to keep an open mind and put in as much as you want out of it.
As for the non-technical sides of coding, Coding Temple has amazing staff and resources to support you through the bootcamp and the career search. The culture of the bootcamp is what really stands out for me, and I’m grateful I got to be a part of it. Nicole (student relations manager) and Marlene (career coach) emphasized that they are there to help you succeed and I felt that through & through. Nicole has a great network of guest speakers, and I love that she brought in speakers who addressed imposter syndrome and the mental health aspects of job searching. Marlene was incredibly helpful in navigating the job search and networking. I was able to find a job during the bootcamp, and even though it wasn’t related to SWE or data analytics, Marlene helped me through the hiring process, negotiating and networking! The conversations I had with Nicole, Marlene and the guest speakers were very empowering and continue to stick with me after the bootcamp. -

In September 2020 I was 33, unemployed, a mom to a 3yo. And I knew absolutely nothing about coding or being a software developer. In March 2021 I now have a job as one. Thanks to Coding Temple that provided me not only with courses on software development, different programming languages, and all the technical knowledge but also with a community and they were an immense help with the job search as well. The teachers provided a warm and welcoming environment and I was very lucky to take this class. I tend to ask a lot of questions but I never felt stupid or silly asking them here. The material is intense and quick-paced. However, the teachers are always there to offer support. Plus the sessions are recorded for viewing again at your own pace. Sometimes the classes don't have a set framework each time which can sometimes be difficult to follow, but with the staff there to help with any questions or concerns that really isn't a problem. Very happy to have taken this course over some of the other ones that I was looking at. -

Coming in I wanted to learn data so I joined the full-stack and data science course. The course was structured the following way: learn HTML/CSS, Python, SQL, Back-End, JavaScript, Front-End, and Data. Although I wanted to learn data, I learned a lot of different skills that helped me grow as a coder. Some of those skills from the full-stack portion I use in data. This specific class is geared to teach you different technologies and for you to choose what best fits you. It is not to be focused in either data or full stack. The class is taught to make you think and be resourceful once you join the job market. After the curriculum ended and we created our own big (Capstone) projects with no help, a few different classes were offered as well post graduation. Coming in you have to understand that the class is hard work and that the hard work has to keep going after the class ends. You need to keep working on your coding and creating new projects to harness experience. I had a great experience at coding temple but what really took the cake was Marlene, the head of career services and career coach. She was available throughout the whole process almost any time of day. She guided me though the job search and explained to me how to navigate everything from interviews, to LinkedIn (networking), to how to communicate with different future employers. She truly made the difference and now I can say I have my dream job, data scientist. -

I took the Coding Temple bootcamp this year and it was great. I came into the course knowing very little and learned so much. The instructor was amazing and seemed like he knew everything about coding. Everyone I dealt with there from the owner on down has been extremely helpful and supportive from Day 1. There was a ton of stuff to learn as is typical of a boot camp but they made it fun and engaging all the way through. Now that I've finished, I am looking for a job where I can apply my new skills and they have already begun to help with that process. If you are looking to start a career in coding, I highly recommend Coding Temple! -

I cant say enough about my experience at Coding Temple. I had invested a few months of independent study before enrolling in their full time online course. During the 10 week course our instructor, Derek, showed endless patience and a wealth knowledge about all of the different tools and methodologies used in front and backend web development. Even if there is another school whose curriculum is as good as Coding Temple's I'm not sure that school could beat the 10 week timetable or the reasonable course price, making this school the best bang for your buck.
They also have a great support staff who are always there to answer questions about class material or other student related concerns. Lastly, they have a career development program to help develop your resume and networking skills. So in addition to your education they work with you to find a job even after your classes have ended. -

I recently completed the Full-Stack Python + Data Science program at Coding Temple. Starting off with almost no coding experience, I am now a confident full-stack developer after their 10-week program.
Coding Temple's small class-size allowed for plenty of individual attention, which was the biggest factor leading me to choose the school. Since it is project-based, I now have over 7 projects using several different programming languages and frameworks to showcase to potential employers.
After Coding Temple, I'm now confident using Git, Github, Python, Flask, JavaScript, Angular, Google Cloud, HTML/CSS, SQL and many more web development tools.
The course was very challenging, and did take up a full-time schedule over the course of 10 weeks. If you are determined to learn, and put in the time required, Coding Temple will give you the resources to become a confident developer! -

Nothing but POSITIVE experience at Coding Temple. I did my research and found that Coding Temples full stack cohort seemed to best prepare me to become a well rounded programmer.If you're not serious about being in the tech industry for your career do not bother with a bootcamp. It is extremely challenging, but you get out what you put in. Ultimately I wanted to go with a bootcamp with amazing job support and I found that to be just as well rounded as the curriculum. not just an afterthought. The instructors are HIGHLY knowledgeable, they are able to answer questions, and break everything down to your level of learning!
The bootcamp experience will be very challenging but you will also gain friends and support systems in your cohort with like minded goals who want you to succeed as much as you do -

I took Coding Temple 10 week course and landed a job as a python developer. Coding temple is an amazing school because it is a one stop shop to all your career needs. The attention they give to you is great and they are willing to schedule one on one time for you outside of class hours when you need additional help. Overall I have nothing but great things to say about my experience at Coding Temple. It was a challenging course, and it really made me grow as a young developer. The Chicago class was a very inviting environment to come into everyday. I took Coding Temple's online virtual instructor led class this year. My overall experience was great in the sense that the instructors are very easy to learn from because they explain the material as if you never knew anything about coding. They are always available to discuss any topics with you after class. The class itself was challenging and fun at the same time. The learning experience with Coding Temple has been amazing. Coming from a business background with only little knowledge of Python, or any real understanding of working with Code. The curriculum does a great job of providing you hands-on experience with Python and than connecting it with the analytical tools. After awhile the instructors forces you to do research to figure problems out on your own to give you an understanding of what to expect at the workplace. Expect to learn a ton of new stuff, really quickly. There will be times in the beginning that you will feel overwhelmed, and confused. Just keep working hard! Everything will come together in the end, you just have to work hard every day for the entire length of the course. -

Coding Temple's Part-Time Online program is an ideal Bootcamp for many reasons. There are flexible payment options that the finance team offers. 1-1 online mentoring from the instructor Derek!, and tons of job support after completing the program. It also gave me the flexibility to hold a full-time job and still be able to complete the program. I would recommend this course to anyone who is interested in the world of data analytics but is also involved in having a solid understanding of Software Development and using Python! I took the online self-paced Full Stack JavaScript Development program and my experience was great! The curriculum is pretty good. The instructors really like what they doing. During the workshop we are looking at the code, and instructor clearly explains line by line, to make sure that everyone in the room understand what is going on, of course if you have any clarification they always happy to answer. Helped me tremendously to get my dream job within 5 weeks after declaring the job search. -

I was a little worried at first attending an online program, but Coding Temple does a great job of providing small classes and 1-1 mentoring with the instructor, Derek. His method of teaching allowed me to be engaged and pickup the skills easily. Also after finishing the program, the Coding temple team helped me put my resume together and lined up a bunch of interviews with big name companies. Coding Temple was the best 10 week program. -

After college, I really didnt know what I wanted to get into. I graduated with an Information Technology degree but didnt know what avenue I wanted to take. After my first position out of college I really didnt like my role and decided it was time to make a change. I tried getting back into coding with free online full stack programs but it didnt lead anywhere. I would just watch these videos and not really do any projects on my own with the material I learned. The tutorials were also very dry and I couldnt get passed them. I started looking around and found Coding Temple. I applied online and Ripal reached out to me to give me more background about the bootcamp and what my goals were. After our call, I made the decision to move forward and take the 10 week course. It was honestly the best decision I ever made. From the teachers to the way the classes were taught to the projects, I can say the pace at which I was learning was far more worthwhile than the free online ones I had found. Coding Temple clases were not only fun to be in but they were taught so well by the knowledgable instructors. You wouldnt just go home taking in that information, but you'd go home thinking of ways to apply that knowledge to real world solutions. The classroom is amazing and its such a fun place to be. People hang around after class and dont just go home. You can talk about classwork, play video games, and eat. Whats better? The 10 week course was the best decision I made, After the course was over, Ripal and the coding temple team helped me get a job, with mock interview sessions to resume writing and tips. I recommend anyone who wants to get into coding or learn something new to check out coding temple. I will forever be grateful to Coding Temple to helping me find my new passion! -

Amazingly immersive program! Teaches you all the ins and outs of programming that I did not learn from school. Best part was how detailed the course gets without me losing attention. I often find it hard to stay concentrated but this course did a great job keeping me attentive.

I found my love for programming very late in college, and as a result was unable to pursue it very far while I was still in school. I weighed the option of a masters vs. coding school, and ultimately decided that a coding school made more sense for me both professionally and financially.
Coming out of Coding Temple, I can confidently say that enrolling here as a student was one of the best decisions, I’ve ever made for myself. The program offers high quality instruction, and the staff and instructors are dedicated to creating the best possible experience for students. My fellow cohort-mates as well as the alumni I’ve met have also all been incredibly supportive. I was able to pursue my dream job here with top tech company as a software developer and couldn’t be more excited for my future!

A great amount of material covered. The full-stack curriculum has LOTS of content — a supportive atmosphere and culture. I loved the ping pong breaks! I learned something from all the instructors, even from casual conversation. Emphasized building a portfolio and GitHub activity with working samples of code. Having no experience/background in Computer Science, I was bit hesitant to join the boot-camp at Coding Temple but Ripal and other folks made the decision easy for me. Even before joining the camp, they answered my all questions/concerns, gave me complete walk-though of the facility and provided detailed explanation of what prep work is needed, what the course is about and how they will help in placement. Coding Temple has robust pre-requisite course material that everyone is required to go through before starting the camp. The material itself gives you enough bandwidth to decide whether or not you want to join the program. Their instructors are available to answer any questions while preparing for the camp.
Once I made up my mind, this is what I wanted to do, there was no going back. I started the program in August 2019 and completed in November 2019. That was the most intense 10 weeks of my life. Each week starts with learning of new program/technology and ends with hands on project. This project can be individual or group effort. With someone who has background in Accounting, I still can't believe I completed the intense training and now working as Data Analyst. The program does require you to give your 110%. Joel and Derick were always there to answer any question any time. There is nothing more I could have asked for it.
Once the course was near to end, Ripal and his team started preparing the class for the next step, finding opportunity in tech field. Coding Temple goes above and beyond to make sure its students gets exposure to direct hire companies as well recruiters right after they finish the program. It provides all the necessary tools and techniques to prep one for the interview. Ripal answers any questions you may have before/while facing any interview.

I attend the Coding Temple Python + Data Science program. I had a financial background, but when looking for a new job, many places were looking for Python and Data Analytics knowledge, which I did not have. The program did a great job of exposing me to Python, SQL, Pandas, NumPy, Tableau, and more advanced analysis. The thing I loved most about Coding Temple is that we spent a lot of time applying what we are learning. Which played an important role in the interview process when people wanted to know how I have used Python or SQL. I was able to use the knowledge and land a job shortly after the program was completed. I highly recommend the program!
