In just about 3,5 months my life turned completely around! It's not just empty promises, my life had nothing to do with programming, 0 background or knowledge about coding and now, 1 week after the end of bootcamp I already have a job in an IT company earning double the amount I was earning before the bootcamp. Not only coding skills made this bootcamp but also a family you end up winning. 100% afraid of it early January but incredibly sad for this experience to end now, but at the same time really excited about this next step! Thank you <Academia_de_Código_> for changing my life! -

I love my experience at Academia de Código. Although i was a bit reluctant at the spirit and the enviroment because i'm a reserve person that was one of the things that i loved the most. It's a extremly intense course and i think it works so well because you can't ever relax. every week they can't present you another chalenge , another situation where you every where but your confort zone and that for me i thought it would be a problem but turns out it was a way for me to know a bit more of my self.
To sum up the whole experience, thanks to Academia de Código and my hard work i can say i live my dream of being a developer every day of my life :) -

Better decision of my life
Pros:
Great learning environment. The way the lesson are taught is out of this world,
completely different from what I'm accustomed. In 14 weeks, the AC give o us
all the necessary tools to enter the world of work. With AC's fantastic placement team,
searching for work it the least of our problems.
Cons:
You have to drop your personal life and 100% embark on this adventure -

I joined the code academy to change my life.
I was aimless, not knowing where to go, and after taking a degree, there was no job opportunity. That's when I decided to follow my passion for technology and fearlessly enter the Code Academy. It was the best decision of my life because after giving me pure and hard training, they brought light to my personal and professional life. -

an Experience to learn programming and yourself
As I said, an Experience to learn programming and yourself, the family like environment, moments to tell your friends and to remember until you're a grandpa/grandma and tell your grandkids. It's difficult and tiring but that what's brings it's valor ! -

Best 3 months of my life
More than just a school, Academia de Código is a family. Of course the tecnhical aspect is there, you learn a lot and the skill set you gain is highly sought after from companies. But more than anything, the friends you make along the journey are the real "juicy" part of it. -

It's an amazing, intense, life-changing experience that I will always recommend to anyone who asks.
One week after completing the 14-weeks bootcamp, I had already signed my first contract as a junior programmer and I can't wait to start (I'll start by the end of the month).
Applying to OportoUNITY bootcamp by <Academia de Código_> was, without a doubt, the best decision I've made in my life so far! -

Life-changing!
I've been lost for a while, experiencing a bunch of dead-end jobs. The learning path started at Academia de Código has (finally) put me on the right track professionally. Now I work in a very dynamic sector, with very good working conditions and lots of room for improvement. Sooo, it really did change my life! -

Before I joined this bootcamp I was working a dead-end job in a callcenter. Looking for a way to change my life around, I had a friend who recommended this bootcamp, mentioning that everyone he'd worked with who had come from there had come very well prepared.
The wonderful thing about this area is that a College degree isn't as valued as your coding skills. A couple of weeks before the bootcamp had come to an end I was already in interviews with various companies and managed to land a job in this area soon after. -

I can't recommend this course enough for anyone. It's amazing how much content one can teach in 3 and a half months. In this time frame, I became job ready for an IT job. I even acquired knowlege regarding software development methodologies, such as Agile and Kanban that will also help me in my life as an entrepreneur.
The teachers were very knowlegeable about the topics and were ready to help us, if we really got stuck. They also have the skill of not helping, when it's uneeded, in order for the students to become more independent developers.
The curriculum is mostly Java based, which is a must for every starter in programming world since most enterprise companies use this language, with a bit of Javascript towards the end. They also teach Java related frameworks and best practices used in the industry.
The job support is relentless, the HR goes above and beyond to arrange job interviews and help us in our professional life. Everyone in my bootcamp got atleast a job offer in less than a month, after finishing the bootcamp, in well rknown companies. Even after our first job, they help us if we are not satisfied or if we want a new challenge.
The bootcamp atmosphere, had lots of small but gorgeous details that helped people get focused and have fun, while sailing through the big journey of becoming a software developer in 3 and a half months.
If you want to join the IT World, I believe it's the best bootcamp in Portugal and the price is well worth the course curriculum and the carreer support. -

Be Warned
You have been warned. This is not a bootcamp for the faint of heart. Be ready to be challenged and put outside your comfort zone on a daily basis. You will have to suffer with your colleagues while you battle through the curriculum with the help of your teachers.
It's a lot of fun actually so give it a try. -

It's far from being easy, but totally worth it! I was desperate for a change in my life and to reject dead end jobs, which lead me to consider a complete change. I am one of those rare persons that had always avoided everything related to technologies , so for me to enroll in a challenge like this wasn't easy at all... in fact it was one of the hardest things that I have ever done, but by far, perhaps the best.
I can guarantee that you are getting into one of your life's best teaching experiences which will lead you to a new profiting career. I promise that you will also have a lot of fun, and laugh (loudly) while doing it! But there is also a big bonus: it is also (for me it was actually the best) life experience where you are going to learn a lot about yourself, human relationships, and make friends for life! Along all that, Academia de Código will teach you how to code and they also have an awesome department completely focus in giving you the best opportunities and support to enter in the work tech market ! 5***** -

I didn't have any previous contact with IT world, nevertheless, I'm now currently employed, only 2 weeks after finishing the Bootcamp. Yes, it's very intensive and demanding, yes you will have to put up your best to get the best out of what is taught to you, but in the end, it will be very rewarding. You'll make friends, you'll learn to program, you'll have amazing teachers, and more important than all, you'll be quickly employed with the help of an inexhaustible Placement team.

Amazing experience. Really unique approach and unique way of teaching programming.
After some days they make you feel at home and confortable showing that they really care not only about your carieer but also about your mental health and the balance between the two.
Almost 24/7 for 3.5 months side by side also with people like me that are starting now inside this new area, makes you really motivated.
Thank you for all the knowledge. -

Unbelievable at first look, this will change your professional carrer if you want to do it. While it is very itense you will have the help and comfort of a lovely team who will not let you sink into the doubts that you will face during this 3 months. It's far from being easy but if you give your best you will succeed. For 14 weeks you practically won't have time for anything else but if you put the time and the effort it will be worth it. It's the experience of a lifetime and you'll go from knowing absolutely nothing about coding to a competent programmer with the tools to have a sucessful career. -

""Life changing”"
When they call and ask you if you're ready to say goodbye to everyone you know and your life will be: eat, code and repeat. They are not kidding. An excellent experience for those who want to lead a programmer life as a career. It allows you this change in a period of 14 weeks. Do you want a challenge? Do you want to change? Do you want to be a programmer? Go for it. -
