I recently attended Academia de Código's coding bootcamp in Lisbon, Portugal, and I have to say that it was an amazing experience. The program lasted for 14 weeks and was held in-person, which was great for networking with other students and instructors.
The curriculum was very comprehensive and covered a wide range of programming languages and technologies. We started with the basics of programming and gradually worked our way up to more advanced topics like web development, databases, and software engineering. The course was very hands-on, with a lot of coding projects and assignments that helped us apply what we learned in class.
One thing I really appreciated about the bootcamp was the teaching style. The instructors were very knowledgeable and passionate about coding, and they were always willing to help us out when we had questions or were struggling with a particular concept. They also challenged us to think critically and problem-solve on our own, which helped us develop important skills that are essential for a career in programming.
Overall, I would highly recommend Academia de Código to anyone who is interested in learning how to code. The program is intensive, but if you're willing to put in the effort and work hard, you will come out of it with a solid foundation in programming and a portfolio of impressive projects to show potential employers. The only downside is that the program is quite intensive, so it may not be the best fit for everyone. However, if you are serious about learning how to code and are willing to commit the time and effort, Academia de Código is definitely worth checking out. -

Entered without knowing nothing about programming and i can't believe the things i've learned and done! All because of teachers and teaching technique! They help you in all process and make you progress everyday thinking you're the best. Even when you don't know nothing! I believe that this bootcamp had no drawbacks at all, I enjoyed it to the fullest, one of the best experiences I had in my entire lifetime.

PROS:
1) When you've graduated from bootcamp, your options for employment are pretty open
2) While some can learn to code and get a job within months, for most people, it's more like years. There's no way we can change careers more quickly.
3) You will work with people in pairs or in teams, and work together to ensure that projects are realized. Your routine at a code camp will be similar to that of a developer.
4) At boot camp, there will always be support from tutors (and your peers) to help you when you're stuck. It is much more efficient to deal with an issue together.
CONS:
1)If you are based somewhere remotely, or don't have access to transportation, this is something to consider. The best coding boot camps usually need their students to come daily to make the most of their courses.
2)Boot camp cost money but they offer finance options to help with costs.
3) As we know, not all coding bootcamps are equal. It is critical that you research which coding bootcamps are of interest to you.

The marketing material of the <Academia de Código_> sounded do cliché. "Oh, life changing!". "From noob to pro in 14 weeks!". That's the duration of the Big brother, apparently. But I wanted to change my life so believing the cliché was all I had. So I took a leap of faith (and wallet because I couldn't afford the course from my own pocket) and went for it. And if my expectations were high they were still blown away. I was prepared for the technical evolution but I was not prepared for the social part of the bootcamp.
Academia is a bunch of people that want to change their life. Doesn't matter the background. That unites us. The teachers and staff make that possible. With a lot of awesomeness in the mix.
I'm one the lucky ones. -

Definitely the best experience of my life!
In my thirties I've decided to change all my professional life and join programming world. I did it with the help of Academia de Código and it was one of the best decisions of my life.
It was not easy (not at all), but I've learned so much in 14 weeks with the best teachers and colleagues.
In the end of this amazing bootcamp we had the best team helping us to find the job of our dreams, and in a month I got that job offer!

The bootcamp is an amazing experience overall, it's hard and challenging don't get the wrong but at the same time very rewarding! It's incredible the ammount of knowledge that the staff can transmit in such short time not only from a technical standpoint but also from a human perspective. I can definetly say not only did I grow technically but also as a person, the collegues that shared this ride with me where amazing and really helped me in the whole process. Overall the bootcamp was great choice in my life and delivered what it promised! -

At first I thought it was impossible to gather the skill of a Full Stack developer in 14 weeks. I was wrong.. In <AC_> they prepare the cadets to the real world of software developer. It is really intence and you got to work really hard, but it it so worth it!
I got a job 10 days after finishing the bootcamp! I will be forever greatfull to <AC_>.

Pros --> Interesting culture overall, knowledgeable and friendly team of Master and Padawans, interesting events, they condesate a lot of content into 3 months, it's both good and bad, but with the right commitment its doable.
Cons --> Very very expensive course, the price you pay for the course its not represented in equipement, pc's with diferent versions, IDE's with diferent versions, outdated computers that are very very slow, everything was a chore to make on those pc's, some subjects are skipped that should be taught while some subjects that aren't that important are talked in detail.
Overall it's an interesting course/experience where you learn a lot if you start to fall behind theres not much you can do especially towards the end of the bootcamp, but somethings are lacking that's not shown on the ads so do be careful.Ricardo Araújo of Code for All_

We can’t find any record with the name you registered here nor any written feedback similar to this one when our real students finished the Bootcamp.
Before a Bootcamp starts all our iMacs are checked and updated to ensure every student will get the same clean environment. If one of our students has difficulties with one of our iMacs we try to solve it immediately. Sometimes this sort of thing happens and that’s why we have teams that help students in real-time and spare iMacs in case one has a problem.
I’ll kindly ask you to reach out to me (LinkedIn, email, what suits you), so I can go back and work with the Master Coders and Padawans to prevent that from happening in the next class.
Understanding the experience from our student's perspective really means a lot to us, and I’m really sorry if you had a bad experience during the Bootcamp. -

This bootcamp was the best decision I could make in my life. It completely changed my life. I went from a broke and unsatisfied Personal Trainer to a a happy FullStack Software Developer in 3 months. The 14 intense weeks (super intense) made me confident in my ability to code and better yet, in my ability to face any challenge that will come during my new career. Oh, and I was offered a job 2 weeks before the bootcamp ended! If you want to become a software developer, sign up and get ready because it will be an awesome ride! -

There were fourteen weeks of learning. We've seen everything a software engineer is expected to know to start a career. We had the support of our colleagues and the best teacher this school has ever had, aka Raquel, to not give up in the frustrating moments that are always present in such an intensive bootcamp. This was a hell of a decision, but today I couldn't be more happy to made made that decision.
The course as really challenging and made me ready for starting my career as programmer, I have already found a job.
This bootcamp made me to exit my comfort zone and become a better person at the end. This was only possible because of the spirit of the class, all the colleges started to build a bond right in the first week, It was a joy to attend all the classes.
