This school is amazing. However, it is a beast to get through to the other side. People will struggle, some will quit, but it's not impossible. As long as you keep moving you can make it. Code fellows will teach you to learn anything and to believe in yourself. Nothing is handed to you, so this school is what you make of it. If you are willing to commit, learn, and work you will do great!

    Code Fellows Review

Prior to attending Code Fellows, the only experience I had with writing programs was at a Community College where I took an intro to C++. I learned as far as loops (not too far). Throughout the 101, 102, and part of the 201 I was learning the same things, just with JavaScript (different syntax). Near the end of 201 I started experiencing a plethora of new concepts and forced to apply them, I.E. Objects, Arrays, Local Storage / Data persistence, etc. I didn't realize how much they threw a...

    Code Fellows is the BEST!

Prior to attending Code Fellows, I had absolutely NO coding experience. I had no idea what HTML and CSS were; and when I looked at even the names of coding languages, I saw alphabet soup and was extremely overwhelmed with the immense amount of information that I did NOT know.
I did quite a bit of research during my own search for a bootcamp: price, curriculum, course length, professionalism of the staff, reviews, job placement ...

    Awesome Coding Bootcamp!!

Code Fellows is an awesome coding bootcamp! Even though everything is online right now, you still have an instructor in real-time that you can interact with and ask questions, you go to lunch and then come back to a place where students congregate (like a study hall but online) with their class to work on projects. You can turn on your camera or microphone and speak with the students at your table to help each other on a project or you can work quietly. The teacher's assistants sit on th...

    Code Fellows is Amazing!

I just finished Code Fellows after almost 6 months.  The experience was amazing! I am a Veteran and once I realized that the GI bill would cover the tuition I was sold.  I am 41yo and in the middle of a career change and for the first time, in a long time, I feel I finally have a skill I can use for the rest of my life.  The level of instruction and support Code Fellows offers is un-matched in anything I have seen before.  The instructors, TA’s and Students are amongst some o...

    Not just a coding school

This school provides a 5 star level of learning to become a full fledged software engineer right off the bat. However, what sets them apart from other curriculums Ive seen is they train students to enter the job market firing on all cylinders as well. What I mean by that is you will not only be a competent programmer with tools to discover and learn for months to come after, but they also set you up to get hired. Breaking into this industry is difficult and comes with plenty of "nos" but...

    Comfy in React.js

After just a few intensive weeks in React.js and Node.js, my final project group and I were able to blow socks off with a full-fledged app calling multiple APIs and storing all user data in MongoDB. Feeling so powerful. Our Teacher kept us engaged and the TA's are so clutch when you run into any problems you can't solve on your own. Love this school and would recommend Code Fellow to anyone and everyone.

    Prepare for lift-off!

I had not previous coding experience before starting at CF 6 months ago. Started the 301 course knowing nothing about React, Bootstrap, or Mongo Databases. Finished 301 relaying state through multiple props, importing several Bootstrap features into different components, and creating REST APIs using a virtual Database. What does all that mean? Take the course and see for yourself. Fast paced and content heavy, but you have the support of the most excellent group of peers, instructors, an...

Best decision I've made in a while!

Writing this right after presenting my final project. I feel like with the Code Fellows curriculum, you get what you put into it. At times it was very difficult but by the end of it I feel like I've learned everything I need to really call myself a software developer. Big shoutout to JB, who I've had as a teacher for the 201 and 301 courses! In my eyes he's a world class teacher, and I can't wait to take the 401 python course with him as well.

    Wonderful Course

I just finished the 301 React course at Code Fellows. I had an amazing time with my fellow students, TAs, and staff. I just finished our final project that was built in React and worked with heroku, mongo atlas, auth0, and netlify. Everything I learned in the four week course and built with my team of two other developers.

    Excellent Full Stack Curriculum

I just completed the code 301 class at Code Fellows. We're one of the first groups to go through their new 301 curriculum which covers building a fullstack app with react, express, mongo, node.

The instructional team and support was absolutely fantastic and I don't have enough praises to give them. The new curriculum is awesome and I feel very confident in the skills that I learned here.
