I, did a thorough research on Careerist before signing up with Careerist Bootcamp and I have not been disappointed. Careerist Instructors are experienced, professional, and they set positive, realistic, and clear expectations for students every step of the way. Kindness goes a long ways when you are unsure of what you are getting yourself into but I now have no doubt about my success going forward as a successful
QA Engineer thanks to Careerist. The hands on internal project was enlightening with Anna and provided a realistic view into task within the industry which you receive from ALL instructors as well. I'm more excited about the industry than ever. Thanks Careerist. -

I had the best experience while attending the school. I was going back-and-forth about entering in a Boot Camp. However, I’m glad I made a decision to go with my selection. They offer a lot of things that I didn’t see from other boot camps. They provide job search assistance, a mentorship an internship and more things that propel you forward in the new career that you are pursuing. I couldn’t say enough about the great things that they provide not to mention the curriculum was easy to follow while being challenging as well. -

I came across Careerist in 2019 but I did not join the bootcamp then. Then in 2021, I came across a Careerist ad on Facebook and joined right away. The trainers all work in the industry (many different courses are offered) so they share real life experiences. The classes are live and the live classes are recorded and available for all students, especially those who cannot join a live class and those who want to review the material later. Internship then follows after completing the course in order to gain first hand experience in the chosen career field. Finally, a mentor is assigned to every student, interview prep, LinkedIn prep and resume prep is provided. All the mentors are very knowledgeable in one's field of study. Tips on how to maximize chances of landing an interview for job seekers is provided. Job applicants can opt to use Job Application Services, if they prefer to pay for the course over time after landing a job. Continuous dedicated support is provided by a team that answers all the questions that job applicants may have as they interview for positions. This support is still available even after landing a job.
The training provided is so good that when I landed a job after the training, the recruiter bumped my pay in the very first interview that I had with her. I later discovered that that was the top pay for the position.
I recommend Careerist to anyone looking for training that is provided by a dedicated team that wants you to succeed and one that walks with you, hand in hand, until you land a job and after. Careerist changed my life. -

I recently attended a this boot camp and I can confidently say that it was one of the best decisions I've ever made for my career. From start to finish, the boot camp exceeded my expectations in every way.
First of all, the instructors were incredibly knowledgeable and experienced in the tech industry. They were patient, kind, and always willing to answer questions and help students understand challenging concepts. They also made the learning experience fun and engaging, which helped to keep me motivated throughout the program.
The curriculum was also top-notch. It was well-structured and covered a wide range of topics in depth, from coding languages to software development methodologies. Another thing that impressed me about the boot camp was the sense of community it fostered. The staff and students were all supportive of one another and eager to help each other succeed. The boot camp also provided ample opportunities for networking and connecting with professionals in the tech industry.
Overall, I would highly recommend this tech boot camp to anyone looking to break into the tech industry or advance their career in tech. It's a challenging and intensive program, but the rewards are more than worth it. Thank you to the staff, instructors and my classmates for a fantastic experience! -

Careerist is a great reputable online boot camp, that offers hands on training, the instructors are great, informative and most of all they want to see you succeed . Overall I think that the course curriculum is easy to follow, convenient for those of us who have busy schedules. So many great things to say about Careerist, all of the instructors were personable, if you had questions, they got answered very quickly, which is an A+ for me as far as customer service . After doing extensive research, between other bootcamps, if I had to choose all over again it would be hands down Careerist. -

I have finished the course work, and internships. Staff are pleasant, helpful, and don’t make you feel like your dumb. I love the the class is recorded so that you can always go back to it. I hate that my class was so big though it was over 100 ppl. The internship was ok. I wish I had more problem solving situations but I did learn a lot and meant great people. I am now at the mentor stage and soon onto my new job. -

When I first heard about Careerist, I knew this was the career path for me. Not being current on tech, I had my husband, who teaches Computer Science at a college level, review the Careerist website. He told me that it would be a good opportunity and experience.
After signing up, I found that being able to watch the lessons on your own schedule & pace was so helpful, not to mention being able to go back and rewatch them to fill in any blanks. This has been an easy course that is completed within a short amount of time, which fits my needs very well. Once the training has been completed, you jump right in to the internship, one internal, one external. The hands-on experience with real companies and daily stand-up meetings has been practical experience that boosted my confidence greatly in my ability to be successful in a job from the start. I received great instruction and feedback from the Leads on test cases and bug reports, which helped me improve the quality of my work quickly.
It would help if the instructors would read the questions from the chat messages very clearly. You can only get the gist of what the question is and fully understanding the answer if they do that, as you can't see the chat in the lesson replays. It would have been good to get hands-on experience with other aspects of manual QA like API and ChromeDev Tools.
I am very much looking forward to working with my mentor and the job preparation and search process in a week or so. -

I am currently a student at Careerist and at first I did not know what to expect from a program that is tailored specifically for the Sales Engineer role. But as I move through the course I find myself more motivated and confident in my ability to fill this role in tech. The information that is being given is priceless, from real industry professionals with 20 plus years in the industry. They are giving you real life tidbits you can use to stand out in the application/interview process. These are the things that you can not learn in a book or on Youtube. Being able to interact and ask questions to the instructors as well as your 1:1 mentor assures that you receive the help and answers you need. -

This was a great learning experience and my mentor was wonderfully helpful with any problems I encountered along the way. Wasn't sure what I was getting in to at first, but it was a great experience. They present a lot of information in a clear and understandable way. Staff is all supportive and very helpful. The internship was even better getting to use programs hands on that wasn't as overwhelming as I thought it would be. As each week passed I felt more and more comfortable moving forward in a manual QA career. -

I am a careerist student. I had no prior knowledge about QA. They taught me everything and now I am more confident. The nest part is someone is always there if you have a question. They will not move forward until your question is answered. I am almost done. My mentor is amazing, making sure I have all the tools needed to do well on my interviews. The internship was a great experience as well. I really felt like I was apart of the team. -

One of the most impressive aspects of this online school is its commitment to providing a truly interactive and engaging learning experience. The live class sessions, taught by a team of dedicated and knowledgeable instructors, fostered a sense of community among students. The instructors and mentors were always accessible and genuinely invested in our success, offering personalized feedback and support throughout the course.
In addition to live sessions, Careerist offers an abundance of resources, including a user-friendly learning platform, high-quality video lectures, and supplementary materials. The asynchronous learning options allow students to work at their own pace, which I found particularly beneficial in balancing my class from a different time zone as well as with the other life stuff I have going on!

Careerist was everything I needed to switch careers in a time where everthing was pointing to starting something new (during covid). The instructors were excellent, the coursework was extremely do-able, and the support through the process was always accessible. I still review my notes today when I need to refer to a topic that pertains to my current position as QA. I still participate in the channels provided.
It is scary to switch gears after a long career in one field, and the support my mentor provided while job searching was incredible. I got a job not only applying everything I learned through the coursework, but it still pertains to the career I worked in for many years. Best of both worlds! -

The career his team was super helpful and very on top of my needs and wants to be a sales engineer. Did the team was careful to help me be super focused and in tune with my career goals. My main focus for joining Careerist was to be a sales engineer at META so I use everything that I learned while in the Academy to propel my skill set. It’s important to know that Careerist is a great opportunity for you to learn and get exposed to other people who are in the industry but never stop doing your own research as well and always know that you are the leader of your destiny and you need to work and focus on creating a better you. -
