I already 3500$ paid for your course for manual testing, applying to 30-50 resumes for more than a year now but can't get any job... I Had a couple of job interviews and all asked about selenium with java/javascript, cucumber, git and act..
Careerists grabbing big money, you can buy better courses in Udemy, but these guys only get the money but didn't teach anything.
Careerist.com gave me a mentor, she was in Ukraine, and she knows the job less than me...
I wish I will get my fufking money back from them

This is an overpriced program with generic information you can access online for free. The mentor I had was very inexperienced and I felt cheated because the company advertised their mentorship program as one with experienced mentors. The resume writing assistance along with JAS application software they speak about are just selling points. In reality, it’s mostly DIY, where the resume writer gives you feedback and you input her suggestions yourself. The mentorship program is very shady, my understanding was that it would be with a real company but instead it’s what they call a “simulator internship,” where they repeat the same process that was carried out during regular classes. I would not recommend this course to anyone, keep your money!Farida of Careerist

Great bootcamp with minor issues
I had an awesome experience with Careerist. The teachers were great. My only issue would be with some of the curriculum, it could have more information with intricacies that will better develop students in the QA field. The best part of the bootcamp was my mentor Sofiia, she has gone above and beyond with me even though she has many other mentees. -

In February I stumbled upon an online program, joined FREE webinar, and decided to immediately join it. The program was focused on the Manual tester role in Software industry. It was to the point. I loved how instructors covered only what is needed to learn in order to perform the job as well as to impress the interview. Each module was followed by quiz, our group on slack allowed us to answer questions regarding study, support team is fantastic, replied to our emails within ten minutes. After our study is over, we are assigned a mentor, who helped us prepare our resume, our linkedin profile and job interview Q&As. This level of personal attention is great value for the program! We are provided with two internships in order to gain real world experience of what QA is going to actually do at work. Much better investment than a four year college! Ten stars -

The program is well structured and pretty straightforward for someone who has basic tech understanding. The classes are consistently challenging but on a chill pace so I never felt like I as falling behind, and had the opportunity to revisit lessons and materials to answer some questions that popped out during my own exploration of the technology we'll be using.
The instructors have real world experience in the field and not only did they answer questions related to the subjects they were teaching us about, but also shared their experiences getting into QA and working in different companies with al kinds of teams. The support team was on hand most of the time and helped us navigate the program. And after finishing the 7 weeks of lessons, the internal project and pre-internship team really helped us fully use all the terms, technology, tasks and standards we learned along the way. It helped me polish the knowledge I attained in the previous weeks and put it to use.
I'm about to start my internship next week, and in a few weeks I'll be out there looking for a job in a brand new (for me) career that was completely out of my sight just 4 months ago. From what I've been told, we will have someone mentoring us until we land a job, so I'm excited about that and about the road ahead. -

I am glad to share that I had the opportunity to take a Manual QA course with Careerist, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I made. The course provided a solid foundation of knowledge that enabled me to step into the software testing field with confidence. The instructors were highly experienced and took great care to ensure that all the concepts were well-explained. I only wish I had discovered this course earlier in my career transition.
Moreover, the mentor provided by Careerist was a great help during my job search. My mentor Sofiia provided guidance and support throughout the entire process, which I really appreciate. She is always there to guide and support.
I highly recommend Careerist to anyone who is looking to make a career change in a short amount of time and is interested in getting into software testing. The course provides a good starting point and equips you with the necessary skills to enter the field. -

Classes were flexible and knowledgeable! Teachers were informative with great ability to relate to the students. Great QA course setup and structure. Internship was a great way to get your feet wet on the day to day stand up meetings and actual work! One on one and mentorship was great! I was given the ability to role play interviews and help prepare myself for the job! We oiled recommend 10/10! -

I wholeheartedly recommend the Careerist Python/QA Test Automation course to anyone interested in skilling up! The course is definitely very technical in nature, but the instructors are knowledgeable and enjoy teaching. The materials are clear and you can review the class videos as many times as you need. The homework is challenging, but there are two assistants that you can ping on Slack anytime to get help. You are also placed on an internship project and get resume/Linkedin assistance and mock interview preparation. This course is the real deal. Careerist stands out from the crowd because the whole team seems genuinely invested in seeing you succeed. I am a graduate of the Manual QA course as well and had a similar experience. Go with Careerist, it worked for me and it will work for you too! -

I did my research while I was looking for a bootcamp to attend, Careerist always came up as one of the top. I decided to go with them because of the flexibility in payment. My experience thus far in Sales Engineering training has been a good one. Majority of the courses focus on the sales and soft skills needed in a Sales Engineering position. I already have a sales background and have a great understanding of these things so this training has been a breeze. I've truly picked the perfect field of study for me because, the main focus in this training comes to me so naturally!
I appreciate how open all of the instructors have been in sharing their experiences as Sales Engineers themselves. They have all been open and ready to answer any questions the class may have and even stay online longer than the allotted class time to make sure that we have a clear understanding of the lessons.
I graduate in 2 weeks and I feel confident that I will land the position I desire! -

I would say my overall experience attending Careerist boot camp has been great. Even when the assignments seem too difficult, there are always people available to help. The support from the Careerist team has been great. The instructor led lectures has been great as well. The instructors takes their time explaining the material and answering questions as they arise.

I enjoyed my QA Manual training with Careerist. There were various instructors teaching the lessons throughout the bootcamp. They make the lessons easy to understand and would answer our questions anytime we need additional clarifications on specific topics. After we graduated from the bootcamp, we are assigned to a mentor that will assist us with resume and job interview preparations, which I find very helpful. There is definitely a lot of value in this bootcamp. My overall experience has been great. -

The instructions were easy to follow to accomplish all the tasks and our team leader Daria Harashchenko was there pretty much 24/7 to answer the questions and guide thru the tasks. I recently completed the manual QA engineer bootcamp and I have to say, it was an incredible experience. I was looking for a course that could provide a solid foundation and help me get started in this field. This bootcamp did just that and more. Overall I really enjoyed my experience with Careerist. I work full-time during the day and needed courses that would be flexible enough to work around my schedule. The Careerist classes were 3 days a week and in the evenings, which worked perfectly for me. Also, each class is recorded, so its easy to watch the recorded classes if you miss a day. The instructors are all knowledgeable and good at explaining the material and answering questions students leave in the chat. The pre-internship and internship after passing the classes provide excellent real-world experience for what you will actually be doing on the job. After successfully completing the internships, you are assigned a mentor to assist with your resume, LinkedIn profile and job search, which is very helpful. The JAS (Job Application System) is semi-automated and comes in handy with applying for jobs. Unfortunately, the fully automated version is currently not available. It may possibly come back but I am not sure. The only minor complaint that I have is that you do not get any kind of certificate of completion from Careerist. That would be nice. But overall, for under $5,000, Careerist is a great option if you are looking to pivot into Tech without accumulating massive debt going to a traditional College or University. -

I purchased Manual QA course in July 2022, paid in full upfront. I didn't feel rushed or pressured by a salesperson. Course itself consists of 19 real-time lessons from different teachers. Some felt to me like they shouldn't be teaching, very monotonous and boring, but majority were great tutors, field pros with real experience, they were open to questions and feedback throughout the course. Overall the lessons part is pretty straightforward and simple, mostly theoretical, and few classes about field and interview preparation. Internship. After you are done with classes you are joining the internship, curated by QA Lead. I've had 4 of those projects, each one to two weeks long. Everyday you are joining stand-up zoom meetings, discussing your projects, homework etc. This is meant to imitate real life work, and I've got some useful hands-on experience on how to use QA instruments and what are some common techniques. Most of QA leads I've interacted with were wery responsive and helpful, some projects were a bit messy and disorganized.Mentorship. I gotta say, this is the part where I've learn the most. You can learn theory on Udemy or youtube, but no one will tell you as much as their mentors on how to pass the interview, how to behave, how to properly structure your resume and approach, and so many useful insights about the industry. It is definitely not easy to get a job, but if you put enough effort and follow their advises, you'll land one sooner or later. The course itself is not flawless, but mentorship is balancing out all the imperfections. I'm seeing tens of their graduated getting hired each month, so it is working! -

In general, the course of study was not bad. One inconvenience was this because of the time difference. The class ended too late because I had to get up for work at 3 am and the class ended at 11 рm. The teachers explained the topic quite well and in detail, and then checked the work done, correcting mistakes and guiding them in the right direction. -

Coming into these courses I was skeptical, because I tried many other courses that made a whole list of promises but in the end never met any of them. The biggest thing I learned about this school is that they deliver what they promise. The lessons are easy to understand, the teachers answer any questions you may have, in fact they encourage it. At the end of the course they help you with building résumés and LinkedIn account so you’d have the best chance of finding a job. I’m extremely happy I went with careerist and would recommend everyone to attend 10/10 -
