Caltech offers online bootcamps covering topics like DevOps (36 weeks), Data Science & Business Analytics (24 weeks), AI & Machine Learning (24 weeks), Cloud Computing (24 weeks), Software Development (24 weeks), and Blockchain (24 weeks). These bootcamps are for individuals who are interested in learning more specialized topics or are interested in upskilling to a new career. Students will complete projects throughout the course to give them real-world experience in their chosen course of study. These Caltech programs are a mixture of self-paced videos, live remote classes, hands-on projects, and labs. Students will have access to mentorship sessions.
The DevOps bootcamp covers topics like methodology, continuous delivery, configuration management, containerization, and DevOps on cloud. The Data Science & Business Analytics bootcamp covers topics like data analytics, data visualization, model building, descriptive statistics, and deep learning. The AI & Machine Learning bootcamp covers topics like deep learning, neural networks, GANs, and natural language processing.The Cloud Computing bootcamp covers topics like autoscaling, migration, workloads, disaster recovery, and database management. The Software Development bootcamp covers topics like HTML, CSS, Java, JSP, Angular, MongoDB, and Agile. The Blockchain bootcamp covers topics like smart contracts, consensus, cryptography, cryptocurrency, distributed ledgers, and Etherium.
These bootcamps are open to students with bachelor’s degrees. All bootcamps (except for DevOps and Cloud Computing) require prior knowledge of programming. The AI and Data Science bootcamps require experience in mathematics. Work experience is preferred, but not required. Students that meet the criteria are not required to interview in order to be accepted into the bootcamp.
Career support is not included in the curriculum.

- Hands-On Projects: What sets this course apart is the emphasis on real-world applications. Through Python-based projects using libraries like TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, and PyTorch, I was able to apply what I learned immediately.

Simplilearn and It's Refund Policy is a SCAM
The Caltech CTME online bootcamp through Simplilearn and the 7-day money back guarantee refund policy is utterly a scam. After I have watched numerous self-learning videos coupled with pdf learning guides in the first week of the prep...The Caltech CTME online bootcamp through Simplilearn and the 7-day money back guarantee refund policy is utterly a scam. After I have watched numerous self-learning videos coupled with pdf learning guides in the first week of the prep session before start of the bootcamp, I realized the contents are useless garbage as they weren’t accurate, well-articulated and deep into the essential topics. It didn’t take long for me to find out the business practice is a scam after I sent many emails to multiple channels to request refund on the 6th day of registration all the while cried and begged them over the phone. Despite all the communications and undue distress, they’ve put me through, my cancellation request was consistently ignored and rerouted without impact among the four people I mainly communicated in the company. Animesh Gupta, Hamsa Nuty, Annissa Walker and Lucy Rangel are the people I had communicated at Simplilearn demanded me to give lengthy cancellation reasons and gave me the runaround not to approve & process my refund. Their shameless & deceptive online practice under the disguise of Caltech has forced me to file a transaction dispute claim through my credit card company. If you are in a similar situation like I had, my advice is to make sure you have all communications in writing along with the proof of the refund policy terms, because you will need them!
