I’ve been working as an elementary school teacher for the last 5 year and wanted to make a career change. Before taking this class, I attended a demo day for UX design before committing to taking a course. The demo really helped me understand what to expect in the course. The course is packed with a lot of information and it goes by really fast. The instructors are industry professionals and have a wealth of knowledge. But, I will say that because there is a lot of information given and not enough time to practice in class, you have to make sure to practice what you learned on your own through out the week to get the most out of what your learning. The class moves pretty fast, each week is a new topic, so keep up, ask a lot of questions, and request to meet your instructors 1-on-1 if you need. Overall this course is a great investment, you wont learn everything there is to know about UX in 8 weeks but you will learn everything you need to know to get started on a portfolio. The course is basically a breakdown of how to complete one UX project step-by-step with feedback and support from the instructors. The instructors also provide a break down of the interview process and helpful resources (youtube videos, websites etc.)to help you get a job/learn more about UX design. -

This was a very insightful course in which the tutors were very helpful in advancing my knowledge on data analysis. The course allowed me to further my knowledge on excel, and teach me how to use both SQL and tableau software. Throughout the the tutors use their insight knowledge on the field to show how these skills would be used in working environments. -

I took this course for interest as I'm looking for ways to make myself stand out in the job market. The course was a great way to dip my proverbial toes into the subject and provided many avenues for me to explore further. The course and teachers kept the subject matter interesting and offered a number of free resources to use outside of the course if we are interested in pursuing this further. While this course won't get me a new job, it really helped me narrow my areas of focus and I developed a great interest in the subject matter! -

I start Digital Marketing in Brain Station at 2 months ago! In the beginning I was afraid because of my English, bu the Instructors have all calm in the word to teach us! I never saw a school that create a amazing ambient to study and to have a good time! the classes are not hard and heavy to take! The teachers explain a hundred time if need to help everyone!! -

Our teacher brought real world experience to the course to help contextualize everything. I do wish we spent more time on practical applications and actually learning the tools however it was still great. -

Overall this was a good overview of the field for me. The content was good and the instructor gave a lot of context and content from real-world examples from his own work in the field. The project was good for practicing many of the things we studied in class. Overall I'd love if the class had a bit more content directly available (even as out-of-class reading, though many references to other books and resources were provided) and more examples or practice time for different techniques in the class before doing them on the project. -
