The course was a great introducion to Cybersecurity. I am very new to this and found the instructors were very knowledgeable and guided the course very well. I would suggest more hands on mini projects like audits or reporting. Or break down secions into homework that gets the class to think about what they have learned. I would definatly recommend this course to others. Also as a group go over the project in parts as the course goes by. -

Ryan and Michelle were very nice during the whole class. They were very helpful when we had problems and made sure we don't have any questions before moving into the next chapter. The course provides a good outline on what data analytics is and by the end of the course you will have a good understanding of what kinds of data you can get from large sources of data. -

The best part about BrainStation is the learning style is very engaging and made to help you collaborate with other students. This made the course more enjoyable as it becomes easier to understand the content when speaking about it in an open format. There are lots of opportunities to take pauses and try a real-world exercise that can test your understanding. Overall the content is informative about product management but serves more as a starting point for you to jump off from and continue your learning. The material is also very currant and up to date with the economy/market. -

I really liked the in-person aspect of learning and engaging with my classmates and learning together. I developed skills that I have wanted to for a very long time but didn't have the discipline to carve out time during the week to do - and I was able to build a prototype of an idea I've had for a very long time. I enjoyed the structure of the class of bringing in my own idea and applying my learnings. -

My overall experience with Brainstation's - Product Management course has been really great. All my expectations have been exceeded. The teachers have been engaging and were great with bringing real life experiences to the discussion. They encouraged a lot of class participation which allowed for different perspectives to be brought in to allow for a wholesome experience. I highly recommend taking a class with G and Carmen! -

Going back to formal education, this was a great way of easing back into this kind of setting. Our instructors were really lovely, engaging and interesting and it wasn't intimidating whatsoever. Plenty of opportunities to network with other students and be a part of an exciting educational environment. -

I'm very glad I took this course, I've been a graphic designer for 20 years and had no idea how much I did not know. I have so much more confidence now, in Figma, with colors, with grids (8 point grid specifically) and more. And it was not just instructors reading, they are real UI designers working in the field right now explaining with real world examples, that really helps. -

Overall very valuable experience and I strongly recommend it. It was great to learn in a classroom with a small group. The lessons contained up-to-date information and instructors transferred the knowledge efficiently and in an easy-to-understand way, making it fun as well. They shared a lot of examples from their own professional experience, which was very important. Classes were interactive, and students engaged in brainstorming and practical individual and group tasks. A big thanks to instructors Johanna and Greg and the whole BrainStation team! -

Learn important concepts about Machine Learning and Generative AI and how to use the tools. Teachers were great and very knowledgeable with the topics. The class ended with project presentation from each student where we had to present a project of our choice using AI tools that were taught in class. We had a good class dynamic going on. As the course finished, we become part of the alumni group and are invited to different networking activities and speaker session by industry professional. It is worth the price! -

The data science certificate is a good way to brush up/learn basic statistics and python. My instructors were helpful and engaging teachers. The class is a mixture of lectures and in-class practice exercises. Good access to alumni and employment opportunities. -

- This is a review is about the bootcamp Conducted by Brainstation attended at Vancouver, and all my experiences and personal thoughts
- First of all, their main marketing focus is stating that you can transit any career to IT or tech, The blunt truth is 3 month program would not make you an IT professional.
- This institute offers full time physical class, however they do not mention first two weeks is on-line delivery. This is because previous cohort is not finished with the physical classes(Basically lack of physical . So they offer online classes for the first two weeks. (Just a lie/ fake marketing)
- This program is 400 hours, most of the hours are considered as (Work Period or Open Studio[ask your instructors]) basically the time where you spend the Working on your projects/assignments. You could learn more if you watch YouTube or Udemy, they explain the concepts better and in simple terms.
- Course materials are zero value addition, you find better materials by YouTube Creators for free.
- Instructors are not that competent, the instructors get confused during the middle of the lecture.
- Event space / study area is constantly used for other events, you get consistently interrupted to move away by the staff. This is where marketers show off the area.
- Social events / Career Events / Demo mainly attended by the past students and unemployed people (Rarely any recruiters)
- The scholarship is a joke, if you opt for monthly instalment they add additional fees. Demolishing the main purpose of the scholarship.
- Career support is zero, you are on your own, Searching a full time job is a full time job.
- Career Development sections are not value adding, no one to one consulting, they just send the messages over slack.
- For 16K+, it is not worth at all, 5-8k should be ok.
- The cafeteria is just bad coffee.
- Finally, DONT NOT TAKE NOT WORTH IT

The pace was rigorous for a class with no prerequisites. The instructors were world class with a wealth of knowledge. I would have appreciated some supplemental reading assignments in between classes so I could keep up with the class better. Again, the class itself was excellent, but the caliber of students wasn't what I was expecting. Unfortunately, many of my classmates did not participate fully in the weekly classes and they did not complete the final project - this reduces the value of this certificate for me as I am confident that those who did not complete the materials still received the certificate. I hope that Brainstation can find more ambitious professionals to take their courses. -

In my opinion, this course spent too much time on paid content and demonstration of ad manager backends, and rushes through organic content and strategies. I wish there was more time spend on budgeting, and how to actually apply the concepts. It gives you real world examples but I wish there was some sort of homework given during the course with short feedback from the instructors, and more in class discussions or thought experiments during the lessons, so there would be a more practical learning component throughout the course and not just the final project. There is a lot of information and knowledge to gain in this course, but for me the in-class aspect unfortunately didn't add much to my learning experience. -

This bootcamp exceeded my expectations. I am a recent graduate from the software engineering program and have yet to be fully immersed in the job market and the industry, but I still highly rate the program itself. I could not think of many ways they could have done more for us during these 12 weeks. From the guest industry speakers, nice NYC campus location, dedicated educators, and impressive organization and structure, I'm glad I took this leap of faith. The cost is about what I would've paid for a semester of undergrad, but it was 12x better in terms of professional development, learning experience, educational content, and organization and effort from the BrainStation folks. -

I have just finished the Product Management Course and I really enjoyed it. The instructors were great and because this is the area they work in, they could relate it to an every day, real world example. I would have preferred to have my strategy feedback earlier than 2 days before I was due to do my final project presentation, but it didn't affect it that much. It was just a few tweaks. Other than that, I really enjoyed it. Instructors and fellow students were great -

I found the course to be a great introduction to the key topics of product management, yet provided indepth knowledge about the profession that I wasn't even aware of from my day-to-day as a designer. I found the final project to be a great way to apply all of the knowledge we gained, and my fellow classmates were incredibly engaged, knowledgeable and from diverse backgrounds and careers. -

I felt like the instructors were very thorough and really cared about if we understood the coursework. When they could tell that I was confused about something, they would help troubleshoot personally or offer to go over problems via slack outside of class. I really appreciated that they had industry experience and were able to offer insights on career questions, not just technical questions. My one concern going into the class was that I had no previous background in anything related to tech. I am currently a preschool teacher, and wanted a way to dip my toes into the world of data without feeling overwhelmed by a the commitment of a bootcamp. What I liked about the course was that it was informative but still simple enough to understand for a beginner like myself. Although I realized that data may not be the path for me in terms of a future career, I am grateful to have learned the skills I did in this class. I am particularly thankful for my newfound Tableau skills, because I believe they will help me in whatever field I am in to create more compelling presentations. Overall, I believe the class was a great introductory course into the world of data. -

BrainStation's Data Analytics course featured valuable content and a well-structured syllabus. However, for those without a data analytics background, the fast pace of the course, limited by the time allocated for teaching all topics, hindered in-depth teaching and exploration of certain concepts. Nonetheless, the course successfully laid a strong foundation in data analytics, enabling further growth and self-study in the field.

I took the digital marketing course in May - June 2023. It was a 3 hour course each week in person with two facilitators for a duration of 7 classes. I felt it was nice taking it in person and asking facilitators questions. It was just scratching the surface with marketing. We were required to complete a course project and complete it on time. I did find it challenging working in a group. Two members did leave the course however we managed to complete the course which did prepare us for real life scenarios that could happen when trying to complete deliverables. I enjoyed the categories being discussed and really enjoyed being present in class to ask questions with the facilitators. I think future students should consider their other life commitments when taking the course as it does require a commitment to complete. I highly suggest talking to current students and alumni to get a scope of the course. Overall it was a very positive experience and I highly recommend it for folks looking to get a brief intro to digital marketing and for anyone working in one aspect of marketing and looking to learn about other areas in the topic.
