An Intensely Paced Broad Exposure to Data Science
The pace of this course is intense. The instructors are fantastic, and are consistently available to meet privately to help out. The content of the course is well laid out. However, the pace of the course means that topics are covered quickly, and much extracurricular study is required to bring these skills up to a level that could be considered employable. -

My Time at BrainStation's Web Dev Course
This was a great experience with getting an initial overview of web development and the possibilities of front-end development. I took this more as a personal interest course and feel that I have learned valuable content to help me work with other developers and continue developing my skills. The instructors are supportive and provide ample resources to ensure you understand all the content. -

I recently completed the Product Management course at Brainstation London. The course was an excellent applied crash course in product management techniques, from user persona, problem statement and value proposition formulation through to wire framing and considering go to market strategies. Throughout the course the content was augmented by a practical real life project which solidified the learning from class and gave us a real world problem to work through. The use of lean and agile methodologies was very helpful and bridged a gap in my knowledge. The instructors Diana and Aaron were both super helpful and provided feedback on Slack and added their personal experience to concepts within the class. I have already deployed some of the principles in my role at Barclays and have made some great friends and connections through this course. -

Brainstation's in-person software engineering bootcamp is intense, personable, and very well organized. My student success person, Linda, was accessible during my onboarding process and walked me through every step. This is what sold me on the bootcamp - the human touch. Linda readily answered any questions and liaised with other departments to find out answers that she didn't have. My cohort had 16 people, and in some classes, there were 5 educators in the room helping different students out. The level of connection that we had with our educators was awesome and they always sent out their demo code with a list of additional resources shortly after the lectures. The online platform is well-curated with all of the schedule, content, and project submissions. They created events to encourage student connections, but I didn't engage with the social events too much - too concentrated on working. I would highly recommend this bootcamp to anyone prepared to put in the hours that it demands. -

I completed the Web Development bootcamp at BrainStation in Vancouver, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend it. In my evaluation, the program's cost is unreasonably high considering the value it delivers. The recruiter made numerous assurances that, in my experience, did not hold true, and the overall learning experience did not justify the considerable expense.
While the instructors were satisfactory, I discovered that comparable material could be accessed at a more affordable rate on other platforms. Additionally, the promised career placement assistance was a letdown. The assertion of a 90% job placement rate appeared to be misleading, as a significant number of my fellow bootcamp graduates encountered difficulties securing positions in the industry. This disconnect between expectation and reality was disheartening and raised questions about the accuracy of the information provided during the recruitment process.
Furthermore, the support I received, particularly in terms of career services, fell short of my expectations. Seeking help from the course manager for my resume proved disappointing, as the assistance provided was generic and lacked the personalized touch emphasized as part of the package. It felt like a one-size-fits-all approach, and the pledged individualized support was conspicuously absent, leaving me questioning the value of the services included in the package.
In contrast, my husband attended a bootcamp at another institution that not only cost less but also provided more effective and personalized assistance. The contrast between our experiences highlighted the notable shortcomings of the BrainStation program.
In conclusion, I strongly advise potential students to conduct thorough research and carefully evaluate their options before enrolling in the BrainStation bootcamp. My intention in sharing this feedback is to offer an honest account of my experience and contribute to the enhancement of such programs in the future.

Brainstation is a great opportunity for anyone curious about the data analyst/science field to apply themselves and drive their career growth. It's available at various times to find something in your free time and convenience. And it's not just because because you are upskilling but it is always great to pick the instructor's brain about your career trajectory. They have a lot of helpful knowledge to divulge!
I have just finished my second course within the Data Science field (the first one being the Python Programming fundamentals course), and I am considering signing up for more and hyper-tuning my skills. -

I studied the software engineering bootcamp at BrainStation in September 2023. I have never felt so rewarded from education. Teachers were amazing - campus was beautiful - support was incredible. Brainstation host a hackathon for all disciplines which allows you to win the opportunity to study a course for free. Luckily, my team won the hackathon and I am now able to study UX design course after my bootcamp program. So grateful to BrainStation for everything - could not recommend more! -

Mark and Girish did a fantastic job of providing a broad perspective of digital marketing, yet honing in on the intricacies of each subject. I recently completed the Product Management course at BrainStation and for me personally it was absolutely worth the investment.
The course is well-structured, covering essential aspects like product strategy, Agile, prototyping, and go-to-market strategies. What stood out for me was the hands-on, project-based approach, which made the learning process practical and applicable to real-world scenarios.
The exchange with other classmates from different areas in the world was very enriching and the cohort size was just about right. I cannot say enough good things about the Brainstation Digital Marketing Certificate course. So much knowledge is packed into this bootcamp that I know will be useful in my future career endeavours. I truly feel like I have a high level understanding of several of the components taught in this course. I was pushed out of my comfort zone multiple times throughout the group-work exercises and final project. The instructors are very thorough, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I do think it'd be neat to have an exclusive job bank with job postings for employers seeking those with Brainstation credentials. -

I enrolled in BrainStation's software engineering BootCamp with high expectations due to its renowned reputation in the industry. The course has been enjoyable overall, but there are notable aspects that could be improved.
The quality of the experience seems heavily dependent on the instructors. Unfortunately, I've faced challenges in understanding and navigating the course due to inconsistencies in teaching styles. This being my first BootCamp, I'm unsure if this is a common issue or an isolated case.
The expensive tuition fee is a significant factor, and while the program is "okay," I expected more given the cost. The variability in mentor quality within my cohort is also noteworthy. While some mentors go above and beyond to support students, others fall short of expectations and shouldn't be in mentorship roles.
On a positive note, the reason I chose BrainStation was to pursue a lucrative career in technology, allowing me to afford my passion for travel. The challenging nature of the course has been an obstacle, but I remain optimistic about the potential outcomes.
In conclusion, BrainStation offers a mix of experiences. It's essential to weigh the potential variations in instruction and mentorship quality against the overall goal of entering the lucrative field of technology. -

I just graduated from the September 2023 cohort. There were three excellent primary educators and 3 TAs for around 35-40 students. The curriculum is excellent, but expect a genuinely lightning pace! I had a wonderful experience, but I had a little bit of experience going in, and had no other commitments. I would hesitate to recommend it if you have other commitments, and would highly encourage having at least some beginner knowledge before enrolling, but if you're genuinely excited about learning to make websites, this course will have you covered. It was hard to imagine learning how to make websites from the ground up in 3 months, but they managed it better than I expected - and I signed up expecting a lot! -

I was extremely impressed with the ability to modify the curriculum as best they could based on my personal learning disability. The instructors and Ta's were supportive and available to help as much as I needed. What I would hope is that they can have some type questionnaire to find out if the student has a learning disability like adhd to be able to tailor the curriculum to the students need for them to be successful. -

Had a really good time during this bootcamp, all the educators and TA’s were really helpful throughout the experience helping me out with any questions I had. As for the curriculum, we learned up to date/in demand coding languages such as JS, MySQL, nodeJS, CSS and HTML. I went from being a complete beginner to being able to create full stack applications from scratch in the space of 12 weeks. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is looking to get a foot in the door of the tech industry. -

I am grateful for the support the BrainStation staff provided, mainly through open studio and various help and review sessions to help me fully understand the content I was being taught. There was little to no filler content and everything that was taught was very practical. -

BrainStation was a great experience and I cannot recommend it enough. Over the 12 week bootcamp, I've learned so much and had the opportunity to dive in deeper to the user experience design process to really understand every aspect, from UX to UI. The educators for my cohort, Lauren and Noelle, were extremely helpful and provided a lot of guidance and great feedback. Everyone at BrainStation is always available to help if there are any questions, especially the education experience team with Mariel and Julie. Highly recommend doing in-person if possible. Being able to speak one-on-one with educators in person and talk with others to get feedback was very helpful in providing different insights and approaches to projects. We are just getting started with the job assistance currently as the bootcamp is wrapping up but there's a clear direction and approach provided by the career success team moving forward that leaves me feeling confident and ready to get started. -

Before BrainStation (BS), I was attempting to transition into the world of a software engineer, building projects and acquiring all the skills needed for a full-stack developer. I invested a considerable amount of time and money, and honestly, it was a challenging journey. However, I couldn't develop the skills I gained here at BS.
Now, let me tell you, the educators at BrainStation are not just amazing, they're like the rockstars of teaching! I absolutely adore the modern system they've got going on here. We've got not one, but two fantastic teachers, and simultaneously, two awesome TAs ready to help us tackle any questions that pop up. The BrainStation community is a treasure trove of good vibes; everyone is cheering for your success, pushing you to move forward and be your absolute best.
Mornings were all about learning something new, and afternoons, well, sometimes even the whole night for three months straight, were dedicated to putting it all into practice. Brace yourself for some intense nightly study sessions! It was a challenging ride, but oh boy, was it worth it. By the end of the program, you've got the skills – they've packed all the good stuff in there to make you successful. But remember, you've got to bring the effort.
I cherish my time at BrainStation, and this incredible learning experience will forever be etched in my memory. A massive shoutout to BrainStation – Thank you! -

I had an amazing experience this past 3 months. Everything in the program is helpful and relevant with what we need to start our carrier in this technological world. Since the beginning they were always asking me how I feel, if I had any question and in case I did had a question, they will sit with me on a 1 on 1 and explain everything that I had trouble with. -
