Quality Assurance (QA) testing or software testing exists to confirm that the product being built is the product that the client wants and is released with no bugs. A QA tester understands and champions the customer mindset over the long haul, and QA is involved in every step of the Agile development process to make sure nothing is missed. QA Analysts and QA Engineers frequently use the following tools and technologies: JavaScript Automation, Nightwatch Framework, Page Object Models, Postman and Newman for API testing, JReader, and GitHub. Even AI is being incorporated into QA testing with tools like GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT.
QA professionals choose to specialize in either Manual QA or QA Automation.
