Hello I am Zeina Fneish, Management Information Systems bachelor graduate, I come from a different background than AI/ML. I decided to begin my journey in Artificial Intelligence and to be honest I had tough searching for courses and learning by myself, until one day a friend recommended Zaka's course (MLC), and the story begins. I joined the Women in AI — Machine Learning program at ZAKA with clear goals in mind: to build a strong foundation in AI, gain hands-on experience, and prepare myself for the professional market in the UAE. I am happy to say the program delivered on every front.
The curriculum was well-structured and practical, covering everything from core ML concepts to real-world applications. My favorite topic was transformers — I had no idea how deeply they are embedded in modern AI, and exploring how they work was both surprising and eye-opening for me.
For my project, I worked on an Arabic text highlighting model that matched and highlighted relevant words while reading — using a pre-trained model to bring it to life. It was one of the most rewarding hands-on experiences I have had, and it gave me something tangible to showcase to employers.
The career fair was another highlight. Meeting hiring managers and industry professionals face to face helped me build real connections and understand what the UAE job market looks for in AI talent.

Hello, so initially there was this event at a university nearby where mentors globally gathered to share insights to students, and that same day I participated in a trivia competition that day and won the bootcamp entrance. It was such an amazing opportunity to be part of this bootcamp as I have gained basic knowledge of various Artificial Intelligence fields and I know that I can expand my expertise further hopefully. The content was effortfully explained and there were hands-on practice with the instructor. They were using programs like google colab which has a nice user interface and it was easy and efficient to use. Overall, I've graduated from this course and I'm satisfied with the course content.
