University of Houston Online Coding Bootcamp

The University of Houston Online Coding Bootcamp is a full stack software development bootcamp, offering 16-week full-time and 26-week part-time bootcamp options. The bootcamp is designed to prepare students for a career in the software and web development field. The curriculum covers front end development, back end development, and full stack development. After completing the program, students are well-versed in command line, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, API integration, OAuth, SQL databases, Git & Version Control, Express, and algorithms. Career readiness is one of the main goals of the program. Over the course of the bootcamp, students learn job search skills through mock interviews, resume reviews, and portfolio help. 

The curriculum is created with beginner and intermediate coders in mind, however, self-study before beginning the bootcamp is strongly encouraged. Once accepted, bootcamp students must complete pre-work that covers web development fundamentals and basic JavaScript concepts. Instructors from DigitalCrafts will lead the instruction for this course, and they are experienced software engineers who share real-world coding knowledge with students. 

University of Houston's Online Coding Bootcamp offers students payment plans or loans that cover up to 100% of the tuition plus living expenses. Students can also opt to pay with an installment plan so all the tuition is not due at once. Scholarships are also available to make costs more manageable. Scholarships are available for women and UH students, alumni, staff, and faculty.
