Well, it was me an exciting journey. I always wanted to pursue a course but would always give in. The best part about scholarship is that you're not alone doing the courses. But you're put in a group of fellow members, of all ages; that's the best part. I really like the AMA session that happens once in a week. That actually is one of the best places to share your knowledge. So, when it comes to programing. It's amazing. I like it and some times I hate it.. but once i got the hang of it. I can't resist it. That's true.. in the beginning. Everything is new, but slowly you develop an aptitude for it. I really don't know how you're going to get used to it. But, for me it was like that. Even when you're stuck at some point, there are mentors to guide you. That's another good thing I really liked about. Having a mentor is like having a second Google. This time, all you have to do is ask him. And he might not give you the whole code but will guide you in the best way to get out of the error you're stuck in. I'd say I've learned a lot.. Thank you udacity for such amazing journey. All new connections. And it's been a good journey. -

This Nanodegree was my first introduction to Machine Learning as I come from a Marketing background. The curriculum is very complete, as it covers everything you would like to know about machine learning. The projects they propose are the best I've found across different learning platforms: they are challenging, forcing you to really understand the content, and apply the algorithms yourself. Once you have finished the course you really feel confident about your knowledge and skills to apply for jobs. In my case, thanks to this Nanodegree, I was able to get into an MSc in Artificial Intelligence. -

I will always like to quote myself as a self instructor, reference and the curriculum I use is basically my personal building experiences over the years which I use to motivate others.
Thinking about achieving goals, dreams and any related self power is a conception whose foundations are :
i).Continous dedication
ii).Hardwork
iii).Self Discipline
iv).Positive Attitude(personal love or belief)
The above four mentioned points have worked for me over the years and still working :
Today I can fully stand to call myselt a "computer scientist" but I never started as one , I did pure science both at secondary and high school without any knowldge in computer science but when I got to the University I decided to study computer science, since I knew I had no backgound in computer Science I decided to adopt the above four techniques; continous dedication which helped me work tirelessly, self discipline impacted me with ability to think rationally ,positive attitude gave me self love and belief ,knowing I was capable to do it,that is to say even at the verge of darkness I still believed there was light at the end of the tunnel.
Today I boldly quote myself as a "transformed computer science student" why not computer scientist?
ACHIEVEMENTS
1. I'm a final year student who will be graduating with a BSc in computer science in less than 8 months.
2.Recently graduated with a Nano degree in AI from Udacity, online school.
3.I was selected for facebookdevelopercircleBuea scholarship in machine learning using pytorch at Udacity recenntly.
4.Am member of Hackclub, coding club.
5. One of the Coordinators of Xcode++ coding club at the university of Buea,Cameroon( a less than 5 months old club).
Challenges You Must Face
1. The learning curve for Programming is so stif(My personal experience),so it has to be difficult .
PROPOSED SOLUTION: you must double efforts apllying the above four techniques simultaneously.
2.You have to know Programming is based on creativity and for none foundation people it seems very impossible.
PROPOSED SOLUTION:Remember the word impossible means "I'm Possible".
3.You have to be smart and not intelligent.Question is HOW DO I BECOME SMART?
PROPOSED SOLUTION: work hard on your skills in Mathematics.
4. Don't be shy to ask questions, remmember there is no stupid question.
these are just a few challenges which I faced and I know magority of people who will enter just like I did will likely face same. Also some of these challenges could be based on our environment but I have tried to remain general as possible.
ADVICE
You must always remember computing generally be it in what field is focused on solving problems which have never existed and whose solutions might not be known. So focus on the skills and its applications.
also Based on my personal experience Udacity is one of the best Schools to make dreams come true ,horray!! hurry up enroll and make your dreams come true.
it made my AI dream a reality!!
ACKNOWLDGEMENTS
Special thanks to God
I fully dedicate this to myself for everything is my personal experience.

The course was very well structured and engaging. It covered lot of concepts starting from the basics. I got familiar with how to develop an end to end webb application using Python, Flask and Postgres. Loved creating real time web applications and getting it reviewed by our mentors. The mentors were also quick in responding back whenever I faced any issues. It covered a lot of new concepts and techologies but only thing I felt a bit lagging was that the course was a little outdated. I believe that Udacity has now newly included docker, kubernetes to the program which is good. They can also include Angular or React along with this instead of basic javascript to make the course a perfect one!

Broad on topics, modern and useful content.
Projects are related to what is seen in class.
Maybe we need a more formal explanation of certain techniques such as Adam and GANs.
Will be a plus more documented exercises and projects,
as example: put in the description of a function the shape of the input and the ouput
def func(x):
"""
x: pytorch tensor (b,h,w,c)
b: batch dimension
h: height
w: wide
c: number of channels
"""
Add for every module a 'intuition section' and make more profund quizzes.
In general is an excellent and complete specialization. Even includes a deployment module.

I was curious to study on Udacity to learn high tech contect and get the Nanodegree certification because of the success stories I had been seeing of twitter on how people got a job after their Nanodegree.
I was selected for grant by Egypt Government African App Launchpad to study AI Programming with Python, I was extremely passionate about learning what AI is and how I can build solutions to my community using AI Applications.
I highly recommend beginners or anyone curious and passionate about AI to take the AI Programming with Python Nanodgree, because it is totally beginners friendly, I was taught right Python Hello World to other python libraries and other packages, the maths part of AI then Neural Networks and deep learning, which have been a awesome experience to me in building a new skillset and become employable in job market today.

First and foremost, Udacity has great content including their videos and their code repositories which are hosted on GitHub. The explanations are not overly complex (if sometimes a little contrived). There are periodic quizzes in the content to help solidify concepts along with solutions if it is confusing.
The curriculum itself is well-organized and (from what I can tell) is organized in modular blocks so that the same module can be applied in different Nanodegrees. This would be a con if I was taking other Nanodegrees and discovered that I had already learned about a specific module previously. However, I do like the structure of it and it makes sense in the order in which it is presented.
Lastly, the in-browser Jupyter Notebook experience on Udacity cannot be beat. It is very easy to use and the autosave is trustworthy (I never experienced a loss of work when closing the browser or losing my connection).

Review about Udacity Android Basic Nanodegree Program

I take the udacity basic nanodegree program in September 2019, i actually get this as a gift to my birthday from my wife. The course is about how to make android basic apps.
Since day 1 i am logging in the udacity website i was so excited about this course since this is really what i want to learn. Honestly, udacity really surpass beyond my expectation about online course.
Here is something i notice as a plus point of udacity :1. Clear achievement purpose. In udacity you will be given some topic and project to clear. This topic is really coherence to what you want to achieve;
2. The material is presented in detail and clear. Have you had an online course that made you thinking "why am i taking this course when this material is literally all over google?".
Well, Udacity is NOT of that course, the team is really detail about material that i guarantee if you want to "googling" about all material without knowing the framework you will take months of googling.3. The project is related to real case in real life. All project in udacity is so related to real case i need to solve in real life. For example, by finishing project 4 now i can make some music player which is real beneficial when i need a media player in my android apps. The project you submit is also reviewed in code where the reviewer give suggestion how to write better code.
4. Career development. Udacity is not only giving material about android apps, but also teaching you how to create a good profile in linked in an github account so that you can have better chance getting carrier in real project.
5. Video call with tutor. This is really big plus point since you have your private tutor to ask whenever you had trouble with code.
however there are some point you may want to consider before taking course :
1. since the course fee is paid monthly, you may want to schedule it first to your daily schedule before taking course because the longer you finished the course the more expensive it will be. In my experience , the average time to finish nanodegree program is about three months with cost $399/month. However, you can achieve quicker than the average, i have heard many stories about student who can finish nanodegree program in two month or even one month. I finished my nanodegree in three month, but i really confidence if i take another course i can finish it in one/two months.
2. clear about what you want to achieve. You may be spending hours to complete the course, if you are not clear what you want to achieve you may lost interest in the middle of the course.
CONCLUSION
Here is my conclusion about udacity :
Udacity is not a cheap course BUT it will make you expensive. in my case, i start getting $ from apps and side job from knowledge that i learned from udacity.

I was a middle class student from Nepal and i was living on remote village. One day i found about Udacity and then i signed up for Secure and Private AI challenge course. And in 3 month period of the course from june 2019, i turned into something else. I found the greates motivation factor ;slack channe;'; Plus the quatlity of content is very high. The contents were made for absolute beginner and i was not that beginner because i had done OCR using numpy, keras, OpenCv before joining course. We also had a project showcase and our team got 2nd place on that. Here is the link of medium article i wrote during that period of challenge https://medium.com/secure-and-private-ai-writing-challenge/crowd-counting-made-easy-1bf84f18ff61. I was having my semester exam at that time but motivation i had from slack community was great and i got passed on semester and got Deep Learning Nanodegree also. Deep Learning Nanodegree lasted for 4 months and i graduated from it few days ago. Additionally, i am also a student on Udacity's other challenge courses like Intel Edge AI, Bertelsman Tech Scholarship. Due to the Udacity's courses, i got AI intern and i am now teaching AI on local academy. Plus i do organize some AI meetups. From the bottom of my heart Udacity changed my life. I'm yet to see an introductory course that truly delivers on its promises like this one. I start from zero to building Deep Learning models that classify images and achieve an accuracy of 95% using PyTorch.
The instructors were super awesome and very knowledgeable about the subjects. I learn not just the Neural Networks, but also the underlying Maths and how everything gets tied together.
I'm very confident in my ability, and I highly recommend this course for absolute beginners and experienced devs alike, who are planning to dive into this exciting field of AI.

I love the way that Udacity sets up their content! I first was motivated to try them out when they offered their free courses on JavaScript, GitHub, etc. Because I was active on their platform, I decided to be notified via email of all events and opportunities with this program. Once the application for the Grow With Google scholarships opened, I took advantage and won! Their Front-End Web Developer Nanodegree program gave me the foundation skills needed to know everything about this great field and has properly prepared me for employment. Their videos are no longer than 2 minutes a piece but very thorough and informative instructions. The exercises were fun to do which made learning how to code a pleasure and not boring. The best part about the program was the community in the forums. Whenever I was stuck on a problem, I reached out to somebody in the forums and got the help that I needed. The minor issues I experienced with the program was my mentor being unassigned to me without my knowledge and the program didn't give me another one prior to graduation. If they can have backup mentors ready for whoever decides to join this great program, it would be helpful. As I stated earlier, the community in the forums is what really helped my success and anybody looking to learn web development should definitely start here! I hope that I can obtain employment soon as I'm still looking for work in this field.

They push you to learn on your own and develop your knowledge in order to pull through the assignements. This in turn allows the student to challenge themselves to create wonderful code or features within projects.
You won't be disappointed pursuing their courses that are available. I've been doing MOOCs for a while now on many different websites. I had the opportunity to take a Nanodegree course on Udacity in Machine Learning Engineering. I'm here to give feedback on that, spoiler alert, it was one of the best.
Curriculum: Udacity curriculum is one of the best. All of them are created by professionals who are experts in their respected fields. The curriculum is updated regularly so that students get the experience of what's currently trending in the industry.
Instructors: Udacity has highly qualified instructors. All of them are mostly employees are Udacity and they have a good selection process hiring instructors. All the projects are manually evaluated by instructors and proper feedback is given.
Quality of course: Every course is divided into multiple sections and each section focuses on many different topics. After every topic, you are given a quiz to evaluate yourself. All the videos are well crafted with great animation and are very compact which makes them great to watch.
Job Assistance: The job assistance is not that great compared to the actual course. Don't get me wrong, Udacity provides a number of facilities to get their students hired including. Services like Linkedin profile review, Github profile review and, resume reviews are very helpful. However, they do not actually provide much career assistance apart from that. Their forum and job board isn't much different from any other job site in the market. I wish the job assistance were better.
If you really want to learn something then Udacity is the place to go. They will give you a very high standard of education although it might cost you more than others in the category. You will be able to break into any field with confidence with a Nanodegree from Udacity. I'd definitely recommend to everyone from beginner to experts.

17 years ago it was difficult to "study" the code, because everything was happening in real time and progressing very quickly. Code academies did not exist. At that time, we learned by researching, self-learning.

I completed the Udacity Full Stack Nanodegree. Overall, it was a positive experience and I am aware that the course content and curriculum has improved since I took it.
As per Udacity's teaching style, the course videos are short and succinct to make knowledge easily digestible. The course instructors explained the materials using various diagrams, analogies and examples. There are quizzes to challenge you and test your new-found knowledge. And also, several challenging projects for one to apply their gathered skills and to also show to potential employers.
I also got free services like LinkedIn, Github, CV and Cover Letter review. The feedback I received was really helpful. This is arguably one of the better parts of the program especially if your online presence is below par. -

I really liked the training and course content of the ML Engineer Nanodegree, but be forewared, it is heavily tilted for AWS. It focuses on deployment of models, so be sure you already know your basics and algorithm theories beforehand as it mainly teaches you on how to deploy ML projects via AWS Sagemaker.
The required projects are the best though. They walk you through tough parts in the first two so you are not overwhelmed, but they do make you work for the last one so you will be prepared and ready.
I do wish the program as a whole had more job placement support. (Udacity used to have a money back guarentee years ago, just before I got on board, but now they don't.) At least their scholarship options are nice. So if you are a worker, you shouldn't have to worry too much about funding.
The mentors are great. They respond quickly and the student resources are useful as well. If you are trying to level up your knowledge and skills, this is a good site and most programs are excellent. -

Great instructors with an amazing support for milestone projects that are required as part of the course's curriculum. However, the topics covered in the Machine Learning part were too superficial compared to the preceding modules, leading to an underwhelming experience at arguably the most impactful part of the nanodegree's syllabus. It was clear that the material was considerably older than the other modules, and I hope that the newer iterations have corrected that.
I still highly recomend Udacity for its overall experience and relevance and plan to take other courses, but I'd recommend checking the syllabus to see if there are older courses mixed in-between newer ones.

If you really want to build something or to develop an approach towards any web based project, This nanodegree is best for you.
Lets consider some points for better understanding
1.Timeline
For complete new bee there are prerequisites you must check before enrolling ,otherwise you will end with time deficiency. To complete all projects and requirements for successfull completion of nanodegree you will have just Four months which is just minimum required time for a student who has familiarity with html, css and javascript, a sufficient time. Otherwise you need more than Four months.
2.Instructors
Instructors are masters in their field, most of them have real working experience , They have been in related industry or developing software, They will take you basic to the software engineering topics . Richard Kalehoff is best instructor, he instructs on DOM, Version control and Object-oriented programming topics
3. Course Curriculum.
Curriculum keeps updated in every 6 to 7 months according to market demand and new development trends, relevant projects are there with respect to each topics covered throughout the course. Sometimes project becomes headache and you will stuck if you develop all projects your own, they are time consuming but you will have real experience of working on projects and meeting deadlines.
4. Job and opportunity
Udacity organise udacity propel a job fair type where company and graduates from all nanodegree gather and participate in interview process. Initially you may not have enough confident to take part in job process but if you stay courageous and keep learning after 1 to 2 months of course completion you will fiind yourself confident enough and and believe me interviewer will be impressed . It;s my real experience too, I had a job offer at a startup https://www.weebuy.in condition was to join as a full time employee and I am 3rd year CSE undergraduate so that was not possible.
Also you have understanding of how things work on web and you will have a best approach towards any project.

-Schools
-Factors
-Research
-B2B or B2C company/website
Is there any prequists before I join this program?
-there is nearly no prequists for this program since it starts with you from the absloute beginning but I would recommend that you have the potential to search and ask for any part you don't understandf well.
Will I find support if I couldn't understand something?
The Udacity Platform consists of a big forum in which you can ask your colleagues as well as mentors who are always available to answer your questions as soon as possible.
Overall writer review:

I have taken a lot of online courses on various platforms but Udacity beats all others hands down.
Udacity's curriculum is very rigorous which helps the students to learn the right skills for their chosen programs. The courses are taught by industry experts who are very knowledgeable in their fields. The way the basics and applications in deep learning were explained makes for an easy understanding of the course which helped me solve the projects in the course.
The best part of Udacity for me is the student community and slack channel. Through this channel, I made friends, study partners, project partners and most of all the help and support from fellow students helped me graduate. Information, tutorials, resources and technical support flow freely the slack which makes it the most valuable part of the Udacity program after the course videos.
I already have other Udacity courses lined up for me. I have already started recommending Udacity courses to my friends, relatives and blog readers who are interested in getting a career in the technology industry. Udacity rocks !!! -

I got to know about this program from one of my friends who was very keen on participating in such programs. At first, I thought that I won’t even get a chance to be part of the preliminary round itself which was also done by selecting from the writeups on why we should have this scholarship offered by Google on Udacity. But since all my friends were applying I also applied for it but still I was thinking that it was meant for those who are good coders and developers. One day when I was just checking my mail, I saw one mail stating that I got selected for the Google India Challenge Scholarship: Front-End Web Dev - Udacity. And the most interesting part was that it was in the Promotion part in my mail which I have never checked before ever since I have created my mail, but I still don’t know what made me check that part and checking off which made me extremely happy and made my day because getting an opportunity in such a program which I was thinking was only meant for developers and not for beginners in programming like me. It was the 1st round which was a 3 months crash course on Front-End Web development and on successful completion of which provided an opportunity to get a scholarship on the Nanodergree program. I did well for the first 2 and half months and couldn’t do it well for the remaining half the month due to my exam which again surrendered my mind with the same old thoughts of the not getting selection in this course. But after the completion of the crash course and losing hope of getting selected among 10000 competitors and be one among those 1000 was something out of my imagination. But the course gave me something to learn new land a push towards my web development career.
Once again changing my expectations I got a mail from the Udacity team congratulating me on my selection for Nanodergree program. I was struck with a bolt of happiness and was jumping around like I was the first to climb the Mount Everest and it was first time in my life I was experiencing a joy of that kind since I didn’t expect to be among 1000 out of 10000 competitors looking forward to the scholarship program.
That day I realized that nothing is meant for a special group or special class of people it’s all meant for those who are ready to work hard and grab the opportunity placed in front of them.
This Nanodegree program changed my career as earlier I had an offer from a service-based company and after doing this course I got an invitation to attend an interview in a product based startup and I am currently working here as a Front-End web developer.

The Nanodegree teaches you what you need to know

The Nanodegree teaches you what you need to know in a condensed way from industry experts. Nanodegrees have really good content and projects. You will surely learn a lot. It teaches example- and project-based. Also, you have to build a handful of projects. Keep in mind, even though a Nanodegree is a solid foundation, it is up to you to make something out of it. There is far more to learn.

This was a great opportunity to enroll in this nanodegree because it's the most helpful course I had taken. I learnt a lot from it not only how to write code but I learnt how to think before writing code and how to write a professional code and build high performance apps. I recommend this nanodegree for all people who wants to be not only Android Developer but to people who wants to learn how to be a great developer. Finally, I want thank all instructors and all people who helped me in gaining this opportunity and completing the courses in only 3 months. Thanks to you all at Udacity. -

Udacity Curriculum and Teaching does not spoon-feed the student. Rather, it provokes due thought process in you to seek and apply the knowledge with aptly challenging time-bound assignments.
