The Developer Academy
The Developer Academy offers programs 24-week, part-time, online bootcamps in software development and data science. Developer Academy’s instructors are all experienced professionals with industry knowledge. Bootcamp students will complete a final group project to demonstrate the skills they learned throughout the course.
The Software Developer bootcamp covers topics like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node, Agile, UX, and AWS. The Data Science bootcamp covers topics like Python, career soft skills, SQL, machine learning, natural language processing, and working with big data companies.
The Developer Academy is meant for complete beginners and no technical knowledge is required to apply. Applicants should submit an online application, and then an admissions assistant will conduct an interview to ensure the bootcamp is a proper fit.
The Developer Academy is focused on teaching students the skills they need to land tech jobs. Students have access to benefits like portfolio development, interview assistance, employer networks, and soft skills coaching.
Financing is available to students through services like Skills Bank, Knoma, Coursebud, and Lendwise.

great experience fantastic tutors / mentors
I started the software development bootcamp at the Developer Academy in May 2023 and really enjoyed my experience there. This is a great oppertunity for anyone wanting to get into software development. The course is well structured and the tutors really know what they are on about and can help you with anything. You are not thrown straight into the deep end and it felt like a nice gradual incline in technical skills, and by the end of the course I felt well equiped to look for work. I really enjoyed my time at The Developer Academy. We were given a good overview of data science and got to grips with Python at a good pace. We worked on several projects and were encouraged to work on personal ones for our portfolios, too. You get out what you put in but you can always ask for help. Also, the career assistance was awesome. I had my CV and cover letter looked over which helped me land a job!
