SheCodes is a technical skill training provider for women offering online, hands-on coding workshops and a self-paced Professional Developer Bootcamp. The workshops and bootcamp are flexible and designed to fit around a student’s schedule, moving away from traditional, rigid learning methods. The bootcamp curriculum covers HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, OOP, AI, and more. The workshops cover how to effectively communicate with developers, how to become a front end developer, advanced Python skills, and how to break into tech. Students learn through bite-size lessons followed by practical challenges to reinforce their learning. Each week, professional developers review homework assignments. At the end of each workshop, students will build real-life projects like websites and web applications to add to their professional portfolio and impress future employers.
All of SheCodes workshops are beginner-friendly and self-paced. Women of any age are welcome to enroll. There are various packages that students can purchase depending on their coding needs and existing skill level.
At SheCodes, students have access to an online community of 200,000 women technologists. Students who complete the Professional Developer Bootcamp will receive a Verified Diploma upon graduation.

When I decided to get out of teaching and change careers I was unsure of what I wanted to do I came across shecodes on Instagram and thought " I will try the basic course and go from there". I have never had so much fun learning something new the curriculum was broken down into easily understandable chunks and you challenge at the end of each video to make sure you understood what was taught. The mini assignments before the homework made the homework less overwhelming. I was worried when I learned the instructor was French because I did not know how strong his accent would be but, even though he has an accent I can make out everything he is saying perfectly.
