SheCodes is a technical skill training provider for women offering online, hands-on coding workshops and a self-paced Professional Developer Bootcamp. The workshops and bootcamp are flexible and designed to fit around a student’s schedule, moving away from traditional, rigid learning methods. The bootcamp curriculum covers HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, OOP, AI, and more. The workshops cover how to effectively communicate with developers, how to become a front end developer, advanced Python skills, and how to break into tech. Students learn through bite-size lessons followed by practical challenges to reinforce their learning. Each week, professional developers review homework assignments. At the end of each workshop, students will build real-life projects like websites and web applications to add to their professional portfolio and impress future employers.
All of SheCodes workshops are beginner-friendly and self-paced. Women of any age are welcome to enroll. There are various packages that students can purchase depending on their coding needs and existing skill level.
At SheCodes, students have access to an online community of 200,000 women technologists. Students who complete the Professional Developer Bootcamp will receive a Verified Diploma upon graduation.

I'm so happy with my choice! I've been researching coding bootcamps for the past 6 years. When I got the alert for the new SheCodes Bootcamp, I was excited to try it. I've just completed the SheCodes Basics workshop portion and... wow! My background is in education and Matt's lessons are on point! I found the videos clear and easy to understand. I enjoyed the challenges and felt they were pertinent and the right difficulty to encourage learning. If you get stuck or are just looking to clarify anything, asking a question in Slack is easy and the responses are timely. I felt that the pricing was fair, and the financial aid process is simple, rendering the course accessible to anyone. As a stay-at-home mom of two pre-school aged kids, the flexible timing of the courses is very convenient. Imagine the frustration! I told myself that I would avoid coding and pursue non-technical jobs after graduation. However, as I researched potential career paths, I realized that nearly all the jobs that interested me required some coding experience. It dawned on me that I couldn't escape coding in the Computer Science field, so I started searching for boot camps to learn how to code. That's when I discovered the SheCodes Foundation website and decided to apply. Thankfully, I was accepted and began my coding journey.
