Introduction to coding

I was really interested in coding and progressing my career. The course has taken the nerves away from entering a new industry. I am definitely looking forward to the next workshop! :) This has made me so excited to learn more coding and building myself as well as my market value up. The instructors were extremely helpful and patient. The coursework was challenging but still doable. You even have your classmates to assist you as well. Great great experience!!! I highly recommend to anyone that wants to get their foot in the door. Personal advice - don't be nervous, this will be worth it! -

Intriguing
The teaching technique is well-detailed, simplified in the best possible way, and it has been an interesting journey so far. It is the first time I have taken a full online lesson, and I am thrilled by this experience. At first, I thought I wouldn't be able to cope due to time constraints and work, but surprisingly, as we got deeper, it somehow got easier for me. Highly recommend. -

The basics workshop was very informative, thorough, and quite enjoyable. I am confident in creating basic web pages using CSS, HTML, and JavaScript. I love that we utilize tools that are used by professionals in web development. The plus workshop is excellent and has greatly improved my coding skills.
I look forward to taking future workshops with SheCodes to further my knowledge in front-end development and immensely look forward to eventually changing careers. 😁 -

I haven't played around with HTML or CSS since making MySpace skins as a teenager. This course was a great refresher to dust off those skills. And I learned a brand new skill with the introduction to Javascript. The lessons were short and straightforward so the time commitment was very reasonable while working fulltime. The challenges for each section helped you build off of each previous lesson, showing how HTML, CSS and Javascript can be used in conjunction. Highly recommend for beginners and those who need a refresher! -

This was my very first introduction to coding and I believe SheCodes was the right choice. I really enjoyed the format of the SheCodes Basics program - structured with lessons and homework, but you still had the freedom to go at your own pace through out each week. I also really liked being a part of the Slack community - everyone is willing to help if they can and then you have the support of SheCodes as well. -

I barely finished SheCodes Basic workshop and I cannot wait to start the next one. I truly enjoyed everything about it! Great experience
After having been interested in coding for ages, I finally decided to give it a try. This workshop was the perfect start for a beginner like me. The workshop was well-paced and fun to work through, I felt like I was kept on track and made to focus without feeling stressed or overloaded. There is the freedom to be creative and explore with enough structure that I didn't feel lost. There was plenty to learn from the basics, but it wasn't so dense that I felt frustrated. -

Joining SheCodes has been one of the best opportunities I have had. In just three weeks of the Basics workshop, I have learnt so much about HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It's been a long journey for me, to learn properly. I was trying to learn by myself, on the internet, I have read a lot of books, but it was unstructured information. I was "absorbing" any information which I was able to find. But when I saw a scholarship in SheCodes for Ukrainian refugees, I applied even without any hopes. When I received confirmation, I did not believe in my luck. I'm grateful for this opportunity since I've lost my old, perfect job, because of the war. -

For a long time, I've had the desire to learn to code, tried many courses in past but was quickly discouraged.
The SheCodes workshop was the most straightforward yet simple course to follow. I love the principle of weekly assignments as it encouraged the students to set time to learn better and build our own capacities. I never thought that, one day i will think like this. Because now-a-days i just do coding things while i sleep.
One of my friend recommended me "SheCodes". The best decision i have ever choose so far is "SheCodes". I just completed the basic course. It was so fun for me, when i started playing with the colour. Although I had had a keen interest in coding, I was unsure if I had what it took to learn computer programming and where to begin if I were to self teach. While searching information about coding online, I came across SheCodes advertisement on YouTube. Even though I usually skip any advertisement whenever possible, I naturally stayed on to watch the entire ad of SheCodes’ and immediately signed up for a free workshop to learn more about it. I was intensely fascinated and inspired by how Matt Delac, the founder of SheCodes made coding fun and exciting. Here I am just done with SheCodes Basics now. I had never been this focused on one thing in my life and was surprised how quickly the first three weeks went by. I find Matt’s teaching authentic and comprehensive and myself lucky to be able to learn coding from him. I have already learned so much in the first course and am looking forward to see how I can progress from here. My coding journey so far has been educational and productive, thanks to Matt and SheCodes support team who is there to assist learners like me promptly. I cannot wait to start the next course next week. -
