Best Decision!
For the longest time I have wanted to get into coding but I was a bit intimidated and thought that I needed a formal IT degree in order for me to understand or to get started. I am happy to report that I was wrong 😁. The course material, course content and Matt were easy to understand and follow. I really enjoyed myself and I cannot wait to get started on the next course. -

I have tried other coding classes in the past and SheCodes was the only one that helped me truly understand JS. Matt, the instructor does an excellent job at organizing the weekly lessons and assignments in a way that really speaks to my style of learning. I was able to follow along and loved that after you submitted your challenge, he would go over the solution so you can understand where you may have went wrong and how to fix it. I wanted to see if coding could be for me and I loved the creativity and organization that goes into it and I'm so glad I took SheCodes Basics. I plan to enroll in SheCodes Max soon! -

I highly recommend the SheCodes Basics Workshop - it's simply fantastic! The course is thoughtfully designed with small, digestible lessons followed by hands-on assignments for reinforcement. Matt Delac is an excellent instructor who presents the material in a clear and accessible way, making it easy to follow along even for non-native English speakers like myself. A very thorough introduction into HTML, CSS and JavaScript coding from a very friendly and approachable teacher. The course is challenging in some areas but SheCodes is set up with multiple places to find help. I also loved the community chat - you can test your skills by helping others as well as supporting eachother! I would 100% recommend! -

fun and easy learning
It was easy to follow and understand each step, especially the JS part. I loved the idea that in each homework you can be creative and try new things.
the student panel is friendly and well-arranged. there is even a video for solutions to homework and explaining what are important things to do to create a neat website.

I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to get an introduction into HTML, CSS, and JAVASCRIPT. Great course to find out if you are interested to learn more and dive into the whole front-end development. The course is easy to understand and suitable for anybody without any background in coding. I was introduced by a friend to SheCode, she mentioned a friend did basic level and showed me her project. I got interested and wanted to see what I can create.. I registered and completed the basic coding and basic web development. It’s very helpful in my line of job. Because I understand things better as a business analyst in developer perspective, I was more confident at work, so I registered for the Max.
I will plead for you to give the basic a try, it’s the best place to be. Max is a good tutor.

“I have always been fascinated about coding , But either never had the time, thought it was impossible to learn at a short period or that it was time consuming. However to my greatest surprise when I heard about sheCodes from a tictoker, I enrolled immediately with the little money I had not knowing there was "sheCodes foundation" which I applied and my application was approved currently on the waiting list. I really enjoyed my experience with SheCodes Basics. I think the courses were designed well and I appreciated the videos created by Matt with instruction and examples. My favorite part of the course was being able to be "turned loose" to do homework and projects. There were goals that we had to meet for each project, but we got a lot of creative freedom which was exciting. I feel more confident, not only about my ability to code, but also about my ability to figure out what I need when I'm missing something or need help with some part of my code. The problem solving was clutch! -

I started doing SheCodes last month. I currently have a full time job and I have attempted to learn front end developing before but found the HTML course a little over my head. When I started on SheCodes I found that I really like Matt's teaching style, as well as the pacing for the courses. I have already learned a ton and feel like I understand the course material. Just finished my course and I learned a lot about HTML, CSS and basic JavaScript. It’s a great start to enter Coding. As a student, I found other courses quite expensive, but this certificate was affordable, especially if you consider the detailed instructions and explanations in the course. You get several homeworks to test your skills & to make sure you actually learned something. joining a great community with like-minded women is a huge bonus! Overall, I was happy with the skills I learn and the knowledge I gained in the basics course. I can recommend this course to every woman who is planning to enter Coding! Let‘s see how the other courses will be :) -
