Absolutely Overwhelming
The initial free session made it seem light and engaging and manageable. Absolutely not. It is not any of these things. Lessons 1-5 are fine enough, but Lesson 6 onwards - IN JUST THE FIRST WEEK- smacks you in the face with program after setting after format after structure. It's an insane amount of work to throw at someone with the advertised "zero experience." I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROGRAM. -

Three weeks ago I didn't know anything about programming and all those letters and numbers intimidated me a lot. Now, thanks to SheCodes and easy-to-understand lessons that can be rewatched multiple times, especially when you are a mom😅, I can say that this is just the beginning. If you invest in your development time, effort and new knowledge every day, the result will not be long in comming. -

SheCodes it's something incredible! I always thought that IT sphere is hard and boring... but with SheCodes for me it becomes more and more interesting! Everything is understandeble, you always can find a support if smth needed... and the moost important thing - practice! I really surprised how many practice I have and in the end of each course you will have a project! Only 3 weeks during SceCodes Basics and I already have my own project! And even certificate... Amazing! -

I've really enjoyed working on the SheCodes Basics workshop, and I'm proud to say that in the past couple of weeks I've learned a lot. Of course, it's still just the basics, but it's an important step for me (and I think for most beginners), because coding as a subject is something I've wanted to approach for a while now, but didn't know where to start. The challenges after every lesson and homework projects is what really bring everything together for me - applying something as soon as you learn it is a good approach. Also, had a lot of fun with the final project :) Thanks for the opportunity! -

I did a lot of online courses to learn JAVASCRIPT and the SheCodes introduction Javascript course (from SheCodes Basics) is the only one that made me feel confident afterwards. Everything Matt said just clicked, it is very well made, very digest, the fact that you don't learn too much in one go before practising is the key. To understand something to the point where you don't feel scare to do it again by yourself is what this course gives you. I started with SheCodes Basics just to see if this was for me and after the 3 weeks I upgraded to SheCodes Pro. So I’m continuing my journey and I am so happy, we’ll have to do a weather app project and just the process is different from tutorials you find online. I wished I found it sooner! -

I loved this course! I'm writing my Masters dissertation these days and I was worried about making time for this workshop, but the instructions were clear and the lesson-related challenges were equally instructive, and I found myself completing tasks on time and retaining the information too! I'm looking forward to starting the SheCodes Plus course, and I'd recommend this workshop to everybody who wants to start coding.
