I recently enrolled in Scaler’s online course, and overall it has been a very valuable learning experience. The curriculum is well-structured and designed to cover both fundamentals and advanced concepts in a clear, step-by-step manner. The instructors are highly knowledgeable, and their explanations make even complex topics easy to grasp. One of the biggest advantages of Scaler is its focus on real-world problem solving and interview preparation. The assignments, coding problems, and projects helped me strengthen my practical skills and build confidence. The mentorship and support system are also quite helpful, especially when it comes to clearing doubts and career guidance. However, I feel the course can be quite intensive and may require a significant time commitment. Also, adding more flexibility in schedules or more live interaction sessions could further enhance the learning experience.Overall, Scaler is a great platform for anyone serious about improving their technical skills and preparing for top tech opportunities. -

I recently completed the Data Structures and System Design course from Scaler, and overall, it was a highly valuable experience. The curriculum is well-structured, starting from the fundamentals of data structures and gradually progressing to advanced system design concepts. The instructors explain topics in a clear and practical manner, often connecting theory with real-world applications, which made it easier to understand complex concepts. One of the strongest aspects of the course is the focus on problem-solving. The extensive set of coding problems and regular practice sessions helped me significantly improve my analytical thinking and coding skills. The mentorship and doubt-solving support were also very helpful, as I could get my questions addressed promptly. The system design portion of the course was particularly insightful. It covered key concepts like scalability, load balancing, and designing large-scale systems in a structured way, which is extremely useful for interviews as well as real-world engineering challenges.Overall, I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to strengthen their understanding of data structures and gain practical knowledge in system design. It’s especially beneficial for those preparing for technical interviews or aiming to transition into product-based companies. -

Honest Review of Scaler Academy – Worth It or Overhyped?
Read more Read less of Shivam's review
Scaler Academy is one of the most talked-about platforms for learning Data Structures, Algorithms, and System Design in India. After going through community feedback (especially Reddit) and industry reality, here’s a completely honest take.On the positive side, Scaler provides a very structured learning path, which is helpful for beginners who feel lost while preparing for coding interviews. The curriculum is well-organized, and some mentors—particularly those with real product-based company experience—add genuine value. The platform also creates a sense of accountability, which helps many learners stay consistent. However, the biggest drawback is the cost. The program is quite expensive, and many learners feel that similar content is available for free or at a much lower price on platforms like LeetCode, GeeksforGeeks, and YouTube. Additionally, while Scaler markets strong placement outcomes, the reality is that results vary widely, and landing top-tier companies still depends heavily on individual effort.
Final Verdict:
Scaler is a good structured platform—but not essential. Your success will depend more on your consistency than the course itself. -

I’m writing this after completing the course. Coming from a different field, I wanted to strengthen my technical foundation and transition into a software development role, and the program helped me achieve exactly that.
Pros:
The curriculum is well-structured and thoughtfully designed. The instructors are highly knowledgeable and bring real industry experience, explaining concepts in depth and with clarity. I really liked the practice question feature after each topic whether it was DSA, System Design, or SQL since software development is as much about implementation as learning concepts, it truly helps in understanding them better. The mock interviews were especially valuable, as they were conducted by professionals currently working in top tech companies, and their feedback was incredibly useful for real interviews. Scaler also provides dedicated mentorship, which helps in understanding current market requirements and refining your resume so it stands out and gets shortlisted.
Cons:
For me, the only drawback was the course fee, which felt a bit high at first. But honestly, it didn’t matter once I achieved what I was aiming for it was completely worth it in the end.
Conclusion:
Join only if you’re ready to give it your full effort since it’s a significant investment, your dedication is what truly makes it worthwhile. The outcome completely depends on your consistency and hard work, but if you stay committed, it can truly be a career-changing experience. -

Scaler played a significant role in shaping my journey into the tech industry. Coming from a non-CS background, I initially struggled to understand how to approach data structures, system design, and real-world engineering problems. The structured curriculum at Scaler helped me build strong fundamentals and develop a problem-solving mindset. One of the things I appreciated most was the depth of the content and the way complex concepts were broken down by experienced instructors from top product companies. The focus was not just on solving problems but on understanding the reasoning behind them, which helped me gain real confidence in interviews. The community and mentorship also made a huge difference. Being able to discuss problems, participate in mock interviews, and learn from peers created an environment where consistent improvement felt natural.Today, I work as a Software Engineer, and the preparation I received through Scaler played a meaningful role in helping me get here. While the journey required a lot of personal effort and dedication, the guidance, structure, and resources from Scaler helped accelerate my growth significantly.I would recommend Scaler to anyone who is serious about building strong computer science fundamentals and preparing for product-based engineering roles. -

The best thing about scaler is its curriculum. I have never seen such detailed curriculum for DSA. I had issues with DSA many times but this course is so thorough that it just blew my mind. And the instructors are just so good. My instructor for DSA was Alok Singh, and that guy is just the best DSA teacher I have seen. I would highly suggest if anyone would like to skill up for SDE roles, go for it. -

My experience with Scaler Academy has been positive so far. The curriculum is structured and focuses on practical applications rather than just theory, which helps in understanding how concepts are used in real-world projects. I especially like the emphasis on problem solving, machine learning fundamentals, and modern AI topics. The assignments and sessions encourage consistent practice, and the explanations are clear and industry-oriented. One thing Scaler does well is bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world expectations. Overall, it has been helpful in strengthening my confidence and deepening my understanding of advanced AI concepts. -

I joined Scaler in August 2024 with a clear goal — to strengthen my technical foundation and gain hands-on, real-world problem-solving experience. Looking back, it has been a transformative and confidence-building journey. One of the biggest highlights of Scaler is its structured curriculum. The program systematically covers Data Structures & Algorithms, Java, and SQL, ensuring strong conceptual clarity. When I joined scaler I wasn’t a software engineer and the course helped me learn and get an SDE job in 2022. But moreover it pivoted me towards a side from where I could move in the right direction in order to learn more and grow in the later stages of my career.
Now when i look back at scaler I remember my time as a turning point in my career when they laid the foundations of a lot of things that I learned later in my career. -

Hi, I am studying at scaler. Almost at the end of the course. Honestly i didn't get a job till now, but I am preparing for it day by day. The real truth through scaler i have learnt so many things like my problem solving skills have become much much better now, of course full stack development also. My personal feedback is people who switch career or have career break feels difficult to find a job even they at scaler. Scaler works best for 1 or 2 years experienced person. This boost their career to the next level. People who are their finals stages of college can also join scaler online course. They would be continuously be monitoring and review your work . The only job of ours is committing to them with full trust. So think before u join. -

I joined Scaler in 2022 in DS Module. I was already into software engineering from past 2 years. My sole purpose was to attain the deep understanding of softwares which I did not have at the time.
At the time fee was around 2L.
Scaler have a good curriculum, you can get it on yt , but the environment that is created by the regular classess and peer groups makes us consistent in the pursuit. Most of the teachers were really good , with few exceptions ofcourse.
Amit sir for example made me understand SQL in a way that I never forget the concepts till date.
I wasn't consistent on my assignments but they were making my mind sharp and had all the concepts that are asked in interviews. So some comment saying bad content, I am not sure how you can classify it as bad, they teach you exactly what you will need in interviews and software development.
Placement is a topic I cannot comment about , as I switched companies in my own but the learning helps.
To be conclusive as 6 year experienced SE, if you learn what they teach you , you'll be outstanding SE. But nothing guarantees 100%.

I am currently enrolled in the Scalar DSML course, and overall, my experience has been very positive. One of the strongest aspects of this course is how structured and well thought out it is. The curriculum works equally well for complete beginners as well as for learners who already have some foundational knowledge and want to upskill. The progression of topics feels logical, which helps in building confidence step by step instead of feeling overwhelmed. The standout feature of Scalar is undoubtedly their instructors. They are absolutely phenomenal. Even very mundane or intimidating topics are explained in a way that keeps you engaged. The sessions are interactive, and instructors actively encourage participation, questions, and discussion, which makes the learning process much more effective. The course material is also very well planned and organized, making complex concepts easier to grasp.Another major positive is the inclusion of business case studies and real-world datasets. This alone gives you a strong sense of how problem statements are framed and how solutions are approached at an industry level. Even if you are at an entry-level, these case studies provide valuable insight into how real data problems are tackled, which is something many courses fail to offer. That said, one area where I feel Scalar could improve is practice. For concepts to truly get etched into your brain, especially tools like SQL, you need a lot of hands-on practice. SQL isn’t just a tool; it’s a base language, almost like learning to code. Mastery comes only with repetition. While Scalar does provide practice questions, the overall number feels a bit limited, and you often need to rely on external platforms for deeper practice.Apart from this drawback, everything else about the course—from mentorship sessions to overall organization—is very well done. I genuinely feel that Scalar DSML is worth the investment for anyone serious about entering or growing in this field. -

I joined Scaler as a student with ambition, curiosity, and a strong desire to grow—but what I received was far more than just a course. Scaler didn’t just teach me technical skills; it reshaped my mindset, my discipline, and my confidence as a professional. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed, deeply practical, and constantly aligned with real-world industry needs. Every concept is broken down in a way that makes even complex topics feel approachable. The mentors and instructors are not just teachers—they are true guides who genuinely care about your growth, push you to think deeper, and help you see your own potential when you doubt it yourself. What truly sets Scaler apart is its ecosystem. The peer learning, mock interviews, structured problem-solving approach, and continuous feedback create an environment where growth feels inevitable if you are willing to put in the effort. Over time, I didn’t just complete the program—I transformed. I evolved from a learner into a confident professional.Becoming a Scaler alumnus was a proud moment, but my journey didn’t stop there. Today, being part of Scaler as an employee feels incredibly fulfilling. It’s rare to find an organization where you grow as a student, graduate as an alumnus, and then contribute back as a team member. Working here has allowed me to see the same impact Scaler creates—this time from the inside—and it has only strengthened my belief in the product and the mission.Scaler Academy is not just an education platform; it’s a launchpad for careers and a community that stays with you long after the course ends. If you are serious about upskilling, transforming your career, and learning in an environment that truly believes in you, Scaler is absolutely worth it.Joining Scaler was one of the best decisions of my life—and I would make it again without hesitation.Agar chaahe to main isko thoda aur short, ya LinkedIn / Quora / official report format mein bhi tweak kar dunga 💪 -

I joined Scaler at a time when I was confused, underconfident, and unsure about my future. What I found here was not just coding lessons, but a complete mindset transformation.
Scaler teaches you how to think, not memorize. Slowly, problems that once felt impossible start feeling achievable. The mentors push you, guide you, and make you believe that growth is possible if you stay consistent.
This journey teaches discipline, confidence, and resilience—skills that matter far beyond interviews.
If you’re someone who feels stuck or average right now, remember this:
You don’t need to be perfect to start. You just need to start.
Scaler doesn’t promise shortcuts—it builds you for the long run. And that’s what makes all the difference 🚀 -

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with any program in Scaler. The enrollment was based on what I believe to be fraudulent representations regarding guaranteed interviews with Tier-1 tech companies and significant salary increases.
The reality of the service provided contradicts the sales pitch: the curriculum is substandard, and the support infrastructure is non-existent. Furthermore, the placement assistance is inadequate for experienced professionals; as a candidate with 6+ years of experience, being sent 15k/month job leads is unacceptable. I have also observed that the placement statistics provided during the sales process do not reflect current reality. I have incurred a financial loss of 4 lacs and strongly caution others against this platform. -

Practical DSA & SQL Course for Real Interviews
I joined Scaler as a backend developer with 1 year of experience. After completing 2 years of experience, I took a career break. This DSA and SQL course covers exactly what companies expect in real interviews and on the job. -

Scaler experience
The experience so far has been rigorous to say the least, which is exactly how IT coaching is supposed to be. I've learnt more in the past 1.5 years than I did in 4 years of my CSE undergraduate program. Definitely do not recommend Scaler if you aren't ready to commit yourself to putting in the effort, yes the support's great but without your effort it would all be meaningless. -

As a software engineer, staying ahead in this dynamic tech industry is both a challenge and a necessity. My journey with Scaler has been instrumental in shaping my growth, helping me bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical industry requirements.
Through Scaler's structured curriculum, real-world projects, and hands-on mentorship, I gained deeper insights into solving complex problems, designing scalable systems, and writing maintainable code.
The curriculum is in-depth and taught by industry veterans from MAANG and similar companies, making it highly relevant. More than just teaching, they focus on building intuition, enabling us to tackle new problems with confidence.
Though freely available, I never needed Teaching Assistant support; just rewatching lectures was enough. With AI-powered chat support, doubt resolution has reached the next level, guiding us to think in the right direction. The course pause option ensures flexibility, and dedicated placement support connects learners to niche job opportunities. For those willing to put in consistent effort, the career and technical growth is immense.
The focus on both technical skills and professional growth gave me the confidence to tackle challenges head-on.
A special shoutout to the incredible mentors and peers who supported me throughout this journey—you’ve truly been my guiding light. The learning and networking opportunities have not only sharpened my skills but also expanded my perspective on tech innovation.
Scaler didn’t just teach me; it empowered me to grow. Here’s to continuous learning and the exciting possibilities ahead! -

The course structure was very organised to cover end-to-end content and best in class instructors to deliver the content. Scaler DSML Program

My experience with Scaler's DSML program was one of the most important parts of my ML journey. I had already been doing small ML projects in college, but I was missing a deeper understanding of how things actually worked. Scaler helped me fix that in a very structured and practical way.
What I appreciated the most was how clearly everything was taught. The instructors are genuinely good at explaining ideas that usually feel confusing, especially topics like statistics, ML intuition, SQL, and computer vision. People like Srikanth, Mohit, Harshit, and my mentor Abhishek played a huge role in helping me build real clarity.
The program also pushed me to stay consistent. I ended up building long streaks, solving problems every day, and actually enjoying the grind. That discipline made a big difference later when I was interviewing and eventually when I joined Unscript AI.
A lot of the work I do today in ML and MLOps comes from foundations I built at Scaler. Things like understanding model behaviour, breaking down problems, designing clean pipelines, and thinking like an engineer instead of just running code.
Overall, Scaler gave me both confidence and clarity, and I still use what I learned there every single day.
