PM Accelerator By Dr. Nancy Li

 My experience with PM Accelerator was a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on an AI product in an international and multidisciplinary team. During the program, I worked as an AI Engineer on WonderWord AI, a project designed to help children transform worksheet content into stories using AI. My responsibilities included working with OCR, AI models, APIs, and integrating different parts of the application. One of the most valuable parts of the experience was working with people from different backgrounds, including product managers, designers, and engineers. This helped me better understand how a real product is developed collaboratively, from an idea to a working MVP. The program also gave me the opportunity to improve my technical and professional skills. Working with real deadlines, team meetings, and product requirements was very different from working on individual academic projects. I also appreciated the international environment, which gave me more experience communicating and collaborating with people from different countries. Overall, PM Accelerator was a great learning experience for me. I would recommend it to students and early-career professionals who want practical experience working on AI products and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. 

I'm Christina, a Computer Science graduate, and I was the AI Engineer and Technical Lead on the Homewise team in Cohort 8.Over 8 weeks, our team built Homewise — an AI home-maintenance concierge that turns a single photo and description into a full contractor verdict: a diagnosis, comparable quotes, and one explained recommendation. As technical lead, I owned the system architecture end to end — the multimodal LLM pipeline, the RAG-grounded Verdict Engine, and the agentic Find → Vet → Negotiate → Schedule workflow built with LangChain.What this bootcamp gave me goes beyond the product. I came in with a strong CS foundation, but working on a real AI product with real deadlines pushed me from "knowing the concepts" to actually shipping agentic systems — and it earned me a Tier 1 award endorsed by my team lead. The mentorship was just as valuable: the resume coaching alone reshaped how I present myself for AI Engineer roles, and I'm now applying to remote positions with far more confidence.My advice to future PMA AI Engineer interns: treat your project like a real product from day one, not a class assignment. Volunteer for the parts that scare you a little — that's where the growth is. Ask your mentors everything; they genuinely want to help. And document what you build as you go, because your project becomes the strongest thing on your resume.If you're considering joining: this is the fastest way I know to go from AI theory to a shipped AI product with a community behind you. Go for it.

 I’m really grateful to have been part of the PMA program. The academic content was genuinely valuable and gave me a better understanding of how AI is evolving and how it can be applied in real settings.

What I appreciated most was not only the technical side, but also the experience of working on an international project. Collaborating with people from different countries helped me improve how I communicate, organize, and work as part of a team. It was a great learning experience, both personally and professionally.

I joined PM Accelerator to build a stronger portfolio, and it delivered on the basics I was looking for. The curriculum covers portfolio building, interview prep, product sense frameworks and most of it felt practical rather than theoretical. What stood out most was working with a real team on a product. Overall I'd recommend it to anyone serious about breaking into PM, especially if you're willing to put in the work outside of class.

PMA was instrumental in helping me transition into AI Product Management despite having no prior PM experience. The program's biggest strength was its hands-on approach—I didn't just learn concepts; I built a real AI product from 0→1, collaborated with cross-functional teams, and gained experience that became the foundation of my portfolio and interview success.

Beyond product building, PMA taught me how to communicate product thinking, frame customer problems, prioritize effectively, and tailor my story to different roles. The bootcamp, office hours, projects, and supportive community created an environment where continuous learning and feedback accelerated my growth.

My advice to anyone considering PMA: immerse yourself fully, build instead of just consuming content, seek feedback, and network with the community. If you're willing to put in the work, PMA provides the structure, practical experience, and confidence needed to successfully transition into Product Management, especially AI Product Management.

The ACCA training program was well structured and covered key accounting and finance concept in depth. The guidance provided throughout the course supported consistent learning and exam preparation 

Good course structure, Great management, and an amazing technical mentor. Works well for people who are serious and can take initiative. Class timings are slightly challenging for non-US pupils.

 The Product Manager Accelerator Bootcamp was the best way to get hands-on experience building a real AI product alongside a development team. I was able to apply product management frameworks in a practical, fast-paced environment, from ideation all the way through to delivery. By the end of the bootcamp, I was able to confidently talk about the product I was building in an interview and was able to land a job as an AI Product Manager. My partner currently works as a UX designer and is happy to report that the things I am learning they do every day, in real life. This allows me to feel even more confident in this course and hopeful for my job hunt when it’s completed.

Even with 10 years of product management experience, I find this program to be very valuable. In today's highly competitive job market, it's important to know how to secure your dream job, not just how to do the work. The comprehensive product management training covered everything I needed to know to do the PM job better and pass the interviews. What truly made PM Accelerator stand out were the unlimited mock interviews and Q&A sessions, which gave me the rigorous preparation I needed.

As a result, I actually received three job offers and eventually landed on a job I really like.
