NUCAMP is value for money and I like the community.
They will provide materials. Google will always be your best friend. Course is well structured and will discipline you to finish the quizzes before Weekend. -

Good Alternative
I love the fusion between self teaching and in class workshops on Saturdays. Great for those that are better at self teaching, but still want the guidance and demanding timeline of a class. Also, the affordability makes it particularly attractive as an option. -

I choose NuCamp because I needed structure to my learning environment and I knew that was a fundamental priority for the company. I am very excited for my next boot camp with NuCamp and I feel well prepared to jump into it. NuCamp also does a wonderful job of managing all different levels of prior knowledge. I never felt rushed or like an answer was out of reach.

I chose Nucamp for the ability to learn online and the price. I could afford to take the intro bootcamp and decide if a career in coding was going to be right for me.
The material was fantastic and the instructor was very knowledgably.
Working with other students in 2-4 person teams during workshops was really helpful. People were willing to help each other and share their ideas on how fix an issue before alerting the teacher for help. -

I chose Nucamp because I'm interested in starting a career in tech, but didn't want to spend $15,000+ on code school. The most effective aspect of the course was how each week's activities were clearly outlined with a checklist of tasks to be completed, and the availability of Slack to interact with the instructor and fellow students for help with assignments. Looking forward to enrolling in one of their Web Developer courses! -

Nucamp so far has been a great bootcamp, the instructors, curriculum, slack app, and community are super helpful! This is one of the most affordable bootcamps out there that provides career services. Sure, there are a few bootcamps in the same price range but they only provide the learning aspects with little to no post bootcamp support. -

I chose the nucamp fundamentals course because it was very affordable and appeared to be the most beginner friendly of the bootcamps I looked at in my initial research. I came to find that it was worth every cent. I was pleasantly surprised at how interactive it is when it comes to the weekly workshops. My instructor has been very responsive and knowledgeable on the topics and always ready to help when I got stuck. the material is challenging, and a fast pace, so having help at my disposal was crucial. I highly recommend this bootcamp! -

Attending the development course it was super nice to have a relying student channel to communicate and help each other with our codes. Web Development Fundamentals - 4 Week
Pros: Affordable, positive workshop experience, great instructors, helpful community slack channel, part-time
Cons: Curriculum doesn't go in-depth enough to teach you necessary fundamentals so supplementary resources are a must, especially if you don't have a coding background. More exercises during the week would've been helpful aswell. -

Nucamp is an online bootcamp that works great for those who are working full-time jobs and/or find it hard to dedicate themselves to a full-time bootcamp while being one of the most affordable among others. Students are expected to go through the lessons, materials, exercises, and quizzes during the weekdays, and attend a live workshop class with your instructor and other peers to review the materials learned and then work on an assignment that covers what you learned that week.
Personally, I started with the Web Development Fundamentals course to learn the basics as these are truly the fundamentals when it comes to any type of web development. You can try to learn on your own with other free resources, but if you are looking for something more structured while having peers and instructors keeping you accountable, then going through a bootcamp is definitely a viable option. -

Enrolling in the introductory bootcamp for web development at Nucamp was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I got a chance to learn 3 coding languages within a month's time and practice using them to create all kinds of interesting projects. I think it will be an excellent precursor to pursing full stack develpment training at Nucamp. I could not believe how much I learned in such a short period of time. Everyone at Nucamp was very friendly, professional and supportive and the classes were small with excellent, highly-knowledgeable instructional support during live workshops online and throughout each week of coursework. The coursework was well planned so that it was very easy to follow. I highly recommend Nucamp's bootcamp to anyone who is interested in learning to code for web development! -

I chose Nucamp because it offered a course on Full Stack and Mobile development. The payment options are also favorable to students. They teach the technologies I wanted to learn and offered the schedule I wanted (self-paced during the week, live weekend instruction, and office hours during the week). The content is informative and digestible, with additional resources available at each step. The instructor's office hours are a great way to get further explanation and support.
To this point, I have completed a quarter of the bootcamp. So far, so good. -

NuCamp Is Worth The Money
I did a lot of research trying to find the correct bootcamp and nucamp really is a great fit. It is flexible and you can't beat the cost. I will say the course videos can be a little hard to watch as they're pretty dry but for the difference in price I got over that. 2 of my 3 instructors have been extremely good. -

I just finished the Bootstrap course at Nucamp. In my opinion, this course was very well put together with a great project that you work on throughout the five week long course.
As with the Introductory class, the course is taught in short, easy-to-digest lessons with lots of exercises.
The Saturday workshops are always great. They encourage collaboration among the students and in my opinion are great for people that may be struggling to keep up.
The instructor was a bit disorganized (I was spoiled with a great instructor in the Web Fundamentals class), but obviously knew the material and provided great insight for best practices and industry norms.
While I have been looking forward to a short break from classes, I am excited about getting started on my next class.
Still no regrets in my decision to give Nucamp a shot! -

I took the beginner html/css/js a few months ago and found that Nucamp is very welcoming to people who are very new to web development. I tried to take other virtual courses and have felt very intiminated. This is why I continued to the full stack program. I just finished the Bootstrap portion of the full stack program and I am very happy with the tools and knowledge I have gained to build a responsive site. -

I love Nucamp's philosophies, values, and commitment to making tech accessible to all. Not only is it affordable and teaches a very marketable tech stack, but Nucamp is always reevaluating their curriculum, process, and system to ensure it is if the highest quality, while staying current with market trends. Being online during COVID has allowed Nucamp to help people like me who need to fund a new career in this pandemic world. I look forward to breaking into the industry upon graduation, and then turning around and giving back to the next Nucamp-ers behind me.
