When I started looking for boot camps to help me dive into web development I got bombarded with a lot of advertising. Nucamp stood out to me at first because of the affordable price compared to other programs. Other programs made it clear that you would have little to no room for life beyond class, assignments, and practice. Nucamp gave me the impression that it was geared toward people that could not give up their jobs to learn something new. I was unsure of the purely online structure with a single day to have face to face learning with the instructor and other students. I really enjoyed the format and decided to take the full stack course after the intro course. I don't know if the full stack will lead to nailing a job when I complete the course, but I will be better off than I was when I started. This was the right move for me to start a new career, and I feel confident I made the right choice. -

I choose Nucamp Bootcamp because it fit into my work-life schedule and offered smaller online classes at a reasonable price. Intro to Web Development
The Intro HTML, Javascript, and CSS course was great. Good foundation for future candidates looking to get into the field.
It is 4 weeks of the most popular dev languages. It only scratches the surface though, soo be prepared to be a bit overwhelmed. Either way, it's a great place to start -

Most important reason was cost. I was laid off due to Covid-19 and after failing to find work the first couple of months I realized I needed a career change. I began researching full stack bootcamps and most are very expensive. After reading many reviews I decided nuCamp was the best choice for me as I am normally pretty self-motivated. It has worked out well so far.
I enjoy the workshops the most. Collaboration is a great way to learn. Anything I didn't pick up during the week I can get cleared up at the workshop. I also enjoyed seeing what other people had done with their portfolios. It gave me ideas to improve my own. -

I initially chose NuCamp for its flexibility with my schedule and the affordability of the programs. I had no idea I would get such a great introduction to web development through the fundamentals course. The material is broken down and explained in a way that you actually understand what you're doing! I've tried intro courses to other bootcamps and I can say that NuCamp is my top recommendation, by far. If you put in the time and stay consistent with studying, you'll come away with a damn good understanding of fundamental concepts, and probably newly found confidence in moving forward with a web development career. -

It is a very helpful introduction to HTML, CSS and javaScript. I like all project assignments in the end of each week. Also, the instructor was awesome. -

Happy I took the intro to CSS, HTML and Javascript to get a sense of the learning format, the workshops and my ability to manage the learning schedule while keeping my full-time job. Overall the experience has been great and in just a few short weeks I've gained an understanding that is already helping me better communicate with the developers I work with. I plan to take the full stack course once I am a bit more confident with JavaScript and able to dedicate the time for the longer commitment. -

As a student there are numerous opportunities to learn online. Self paced, guided, in-person, and online. NuCamp struck the perfect balance for the busy and eager professional. The course material is engaging and provides several pro tips that you can immediately strap to your tool belt. The pace is robust but allows time for supplemental interests. Most importantly the assigments bring it all together week after week. I am having a hard time imagining life after Nucamp. Join me. You will to. -

I chose Nucamp's 4 week fundamentals course because of the affordability. Many will say, you can learn the basics at a much lower price point with self-paced online learning, which is true, however many people need... structured lessons, accountability, a community (other students), and an instructor to help with questions in order to achieve their learning goals. Nucamp provides all of those things at a fraction of the cost of other providers. The Saturday workshops are long, but a great opportunity for deeper understanding, and to get to know other people who are on this journey with you. Nucamp is exactly what I was looking for. I'm writing this at the end of the 4 wk intro boot-camp. The course info was well thought out and kept me engaged. It provided enough information so I wasn't lost while also making me research things on my own. Other online programs have this, but the icing on this cake is the weekly meetings along with the access to help via the slack community. I highly recommend to anyone on the fence and am looking forward to starting the full stack course in 2 days! -

I chose Nucamp because it allowed me to work thru the lesson on my own then at the end of the week work with an instructor to enhance what I learned during the week and get clarification on things that didn't make sense in the lessons. I also liked that I could work with the instructor/workshop remotely instead of being required to drive to an in-person meeting. I think the remote workshop is even more useful than in-person. -

I loved how affordable it is, and all of the content gone over is just mind-blowing. The instructors are extremely available. The community built by Nucamp feels very open and friendly, which is relieving as you don't really know what you're doing! Compared to other curriculums that are out there, this one is by far my top choice for content vs. cost. The thing to remember about any bootcamp, I feel, is that you are learning materials that generally are taught over years in a matter of weeks. Self-learning is essential! I only just finished the 4 week fundamentals course, but you'll be seeing me again for the next bootcamp! -
