Best value

Great Bootcamp for the cost we paid, I personally wouldn't learn things that I did here if I was studying on my own and the structure and contents were great. Some of the weeks can be a bit overwhelming and could be split into two or provide more background knowledge to make it easier to digest and a couple of the weeks could use a refresh in Develop course. Overall very satisfied and recommend Nucamp to everyone. -

Intro to Python and data structures + algorithms
The cost and flexibility of the bootcamp is what made me enroll. It's a good way to learn coding, though I wish some more complex concepts were taught a bit more in depth -

Python Back End
I was getting jammed up trying to learn python on my own. Especially the Object Oriented Programming. The workshop sand lessons as well as the Portfolio Project gave me the confidence i needed and a deeper understanding of OOP. Very grateful and well worth it. -

If you've been struggling to learn on your own and work full-time Nucamp bootcamps is ideal because they give you a balance by providing a structured curriculum, a time frame, mix of self learning, 1 class a week and a community to help throughout your journey.I started with the web development fundamentals to get a feel of the process i can say it's well organised and affordable, if you're a beginner i would say do everything ahead of time so you know what doesn't work and the right questions to ask. -

Enrolling in Nucamp was definitely the best decision for me as I enter into the world of coding. The curriculum and coursework were great and the schedule allowed me to move through the information at my own pace. The instructor led live course on Saturday's was informative and expanded on the content during the week. I loved it. I'm still trying to put the pieces together with all I learned but I feel better each time I look at it. -

Flexible and helpful

What lead me to Nucamp was my search for a new career path. Having a full-time job, I needed something flexible. Along with flexibility I needed a more hands-on approach than just reading instructions online. The videos and weekly workshops were a tremendous help. Nucamp provided me with exactly what I needed to get my feet wet with the Web development fundamentals. I have already signed up for the next course and cannot wait to begin!

Difficult but fun, the setting was appropriate. JavaScript could have been more predigested so to speak but still satisfied. -

Overall Impression and Review

Overall I would say that the enrollment cost that Nucamp asks for is good for what they provide. The best thing about Nucamp for me was the community. At first, I was skeptical about enrolling in Nucamp since the fee is about 15% of what other bootcamps are offering. I was also worried that there might not have enough interaction between me and my fellow students or the instructor. Turns out, the community on Slack is very active and helpful to one another in solving problems and the instructor has been supportive to us. Given that I enrolled in web development fundamentals, I plan to continue learning on Nucamp. -

Good experience
I heard that this was one of the best bootcamps in my area which was mention by Career Karma and others. It wasn't just the price, it was the instructors as well as the curriculum! And it was true, every word. They made themselves free and open to help at any time, I was helped as late as 1am. . Great boot camp you will not regret it. -

Great online bootcamp
I work full time in a non related field. This bootcamp offers the time flexibility but provides structure I need to get assignments done. It's not easy , but it's worth it to learn a new skill. I also like how I still have access to the course lessons as i continue to try to learn on my own. -

I was originally unsure of whether, or not, I should take the Web Development Fundamentals course given that I already had some background knowledge about HTML and CSS, and also did some self-teaching on JavaScript, but this course really exceeded my expectations. I had a really good experience and I definitely learned a lot more about the fundamentals of web development. I'm glad that I didn't skip over it. I highly recommend NuCamp for people looking to get into web development--taking the Web Development Fundamentals course would be a good start to see if you like web development or not. -

Great bootcamp and price

I was looking into coding bootcamps and found about Nucamp. At that time, I have already decided to change my career from law to tech. I saw that nucamp was more affordable than any other bootcamps in the US. They also have very good reviews. For me, it was a good decision to go with Nucamp. The admin was very nice and helpful and the instructors were very knowledgeable. My experience was great and doesn't cost me more than 10-20k usd. I would say try to study with other resources and practice with codecademy, freecodecamp or leetcode etc. if you want to before, while or after doing this bootcamp, that way you'll become more experienced and efficient in learning. -

Front End
I originally found Nucamp on Reddit. I decided to pursue it do to it being mostly self-driven with a flexible schedule and fair pricing. I just completed Week 5 of the Bootstrap course, and I am enrolled in the Front-end Bootcamp. The instructor was great, the curriculum was great. I learned a lot and there are plenty accessible resources for review. -

This review has been written after completing the first module in the boot camp: Python Fundamentals, Data Structures and Algorithms
I am in IT but am unfamiliar or barely familiar with a lot of the languages and concepts that the Nucamp bootcamps teach. I think the courses are a very good value, especially compared to the "certification" courses that are associated with universities. If I'm going to retread some ground while getting a comprehensive groundwork of new concepts that are not particularly relevant to my current job, I'm happy to pay Nucamp's tuition vs the other bootcamps out there.
You could argue that you could get the same information out of books, but Nucamp provides a structured community with very responsive instructors when you're asking for help. And of course, for those of use who aren't the most self-starting in our personal life, having deadlines and real people to report to is extremely helpful and motivating.
I have a programming background, so I can't speak for folks who came in cold with no undertanding of variable types and arrays and loops etc., but I found the coursework manageable. -

Satisfactory Experience with Nucamp

I wanted to launch a career in Tech, my wife came across Nucamp online and suggested that to me. For some reason I agreed to enroll and it turned out to be a great experience! Especially the hybrid system which allows you to meet and interact with your fellow students and instructor virtually. I like how the instructor checked up on us in the break up groups to see how we're doing with the weekly assignment and I also like the addition of more reference materials at the end of each lesson for further research. -

Web Development
Thought about coding for a few years and finally made the jump. I don't believe it was a bad decision because I've learned a lot about something I was interested in. I'd say if you want to get your feet wet before fully committing to full-stack, try this web development course out first. -

Review after finishing HTML, CSS and JavaScript courses

There's no right or wrong decision in enrolling at Nucamp, it's just a lot less expensive than many other bootcamps out there (except for the free ones).
In a short-four-week to study HTML/CSS/JavaScript, I can only say it was intense. One has to absolutely commit his/her time to study, research, and practice (and more practice!). Whether the materials are relevant, practical enough to prepare for the necessary skills to apply in the real world, only time can tell.
I like the Nucamp for it allows a platform (we use Slack and Zoom) where i can communicate with other fellow students, share information or ask the instructor for help at any moment and get help quickly. The instructor was quite attentive to the students' progress. These were my major concerns prior to joining Nucamp at first but I was at ease after getting familiar with the system.
One thing Nucamp could revamp is its user-experience-presented-materials. I think it's all over the place, unattractive. Folders, subfolders, side navigation is confused if one has a smaller monitor where parts are cutoff/unseen on the top/bottom or on the left/right. It took me a while to get familiarized with it! -

Nucamp is a great decision. Nucamp provides all of the tools required to learn; all you have to bring is the ambition. The instructors were informative and helpful. I especially like how Nucamp makes it completely affordable for those wanting to make a change for the better. -

What truly led me to enroll in Nucamp was the pricing, it was within m budget. However, I feel as though at times it felt as though I was alone. We changed instructors 3 times, which was not a great feeling and I sort of felt a little cheated. I did learn alot on my own but I still think there should be some room of improvement for the company overall . I -

Love the small chunk contents with manageable incremental difficulty weekly assignment. Most of all, I like the accountability and helpfulness of the instructor, Ian. I just can't believe how much I have grown over this short period of time. -

CONS: I was looking for an affordable online bootcamp while working fulltime. The start was great (i.e., the fundamentals). However, it quickly fell apart after that. Inconsistencies in the quality of instructors were apparent (different levels, some very inexperienced). This is a very heavy load for a begginer, full of video tutorials. Javascript is not emphasized enough. The program does not allow time for personal projects even though it is encouraged all throughout; simple no time! Once in the program, you can upgrade but not allowed to downgrade if you're already over 50% of the course load. I signed up for Fullstack but after the Frontend I was done. I could not stop and get refund for the Backend component which I had no interest in after going through the Frontend.
PROS: it is still one of the more affordable online bootcamps. Gives you good exposure to many technologies. Great live interactions with classmates and your instructor on Saturday morning workshops. -

Web Development Fundamentals
I decided to enroll with Nucamp because it was referred to me by a friend. I believe it was the right decision because I learned more than what I expected to. Victor Swanberg was my instructor and totally exceeded my expectations. He gave great instruction and feedback, and was very patient for those totally new including myself. -

A friend recommended Nucamp and I'm glad that I took the course! I had some previous experience with coding in C++ so I was previously exposed to most of the ideas. With this previous exposure this was a great way to quickly learn python! -

Python Fundamentals
I enrolled in this Bootcamp because I wanted to get a better grasp of Python for controlling microcontrollers and microprocessors but Nucamp has shown me how powerful and how many potential applications it can have. I'm very new to programming and databases but it's so interesting and I can truly see what all the fuss is about. -
