Doing this bootcamp WILL NOT land you a job. I’m keen to stress that point. The bootcamp is okay if you are a beginner and want to gain some experience but for the fee you would expect it to educate you to the level of being able to secure a job at the end, but it doesn’t. You will still need to put in A LOT of work post bootcamp, which suggest you may as well just teach yourself. £7.5k isn’t justifiable for an “Introduction to Code” style course. The people are great. The community is great, and it is a lovely environment to work for 9 weeks. BUT unfortunately, the excessive course fee is building them a rod for their own back. The structure and the pace of the course simply means you will probably only learn 20% of what is taught to you. Think of it as an F1 car whizzing by whilst you try and read it’s reg number. What you learn on the Monday, you’ll already have forgotten on the Friday. And when it comes to utilising it 4/5 weeks down the line in project week. You won’t have any idea where to start. The first two weeks are plain sailing, you’re constantly reassured with words of “it will click” and the reality is that it doesn’t really. There is no eureka moment. You will learn a few basics and fundamentals, but you’ll leave the bootcamp still not quite feeling independent enough to tackle a problem on your own. For example, I don’t feel I would handle a coding interview very well without someone sat beside me. Which is a concern when it comes to finding a job. The last 2 weeks focus on building your project in your team and it is very fast paced, as a result and because of time pressure, TA’s tend to take over your laptop and just code for you. Which really defeats the object of being there. Whilst this is nice as you will end up with a shiny, functioning website, there’s no guarantee you’ll understand how you did it. A problem for future interviews and trying to talk about the technicality of your projects. I think it’s worth noting that you will still be independently learning during the course, you must put the effort in. Just because you pay a large sum doesn’t mean you are entitled to walk into a job at the end of it. What you’re really paying for is the structure, accountability, and curriculum because you’re not disciplined enough to do it on your own at home for free. If you are disciplined enough (most people aren’t) then you don’t need this bootcamp. This may seem a contradiction to what I have said previously, but what I think the fee DOES entitle you too, is to be confident and prepared enough to tackle interviews and coding challenges. It is my opinion that it just didn’t do that. The careers week at the end also very much felt like a token “we should at least make it look like we help you into jobs”. The final Friday involved a load of hiring partners spending the day chatting and networking with students, only to be told at the end of the day “thanks very much but we’re not hiring at the moment”. Well, what was the point in that then? I don’t want this to come across negatively as I really enjoyed my 9 weeks with Le Wagon and I have made some great connections. But the purpose of the course was to be educated to the level of being able to get a job, and I don’t think the current structure of the course really allows that to be the case. One final thing, I was extremely disappointed by small details, like the quality of the final project demo day video (deemed not good enough to be published online and instead distributed privately). When a company is making almost 300k PER batch. I think the least you expect is a decent quality video to show to family, friends, and possible employers. Instead, a laptop was dumped on a chair in the middle of the room and the webcam was used to film. For £7.5k each you would expect a decent level of effort put into this. It doesn’t take much to hire a small production crew for the day to put it all together. (Other Le Wagon locations do appear to have done this) To summarise for anyone thinking of doing the bootcamp my advice would be this, take the money you would have spent on the bootcamp, put it in the bank use it to live off of for a few months, quit your job and design your own curriculum and self-study. Build projects and don’t expect to walk into a 70k a year job, start small and try and land yourself an entry-level role where you can learn on the job. -

One thing that struck me during the bootcamp was how much you can learn in such a short period of time. The curriculum was well-designed, and the instructors were fantastic. They had a deep understanding of the subject matter and were able to effectively convey complex concepts in a way that was easy to comprehend. Moreover, the breadth of tools and business knowledge covered was impressive. I gained practical skills that are highly relevant in today's job market. Overall, I highly recommend this bootcamp to anyone who is considering a career change. It's an intense journey, but the rewards are worth every effort. The comprehensive curriculum, exceptional instructors, and the networking opportunities make it a top-notch program. If you're ready to take the leap and pursue a new career, this bootcamp will equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed. -

Full support to start a career in tech

Le Wagon provides a comprehensive course to learn web development from scratch. Although the web dev bootcamp that I completed was focused on Ruby on Rails, the Object Oriented Programming (OOP) is something that I took away from this experience and will be able to use when learning other frameworks. Not only, the course gives you the basis for acquiring further tech skills, but also it teaches you the day-to-day workflow that all software developers use (regardless of the language/ framework): Bash and Git commands in Terminal & how to work with GitHub repositories. This is something that I've never came across when trying to learn coding online by myself.
They also have an experienced career team that is enormously helpful after the bootcamp when searching for a new job. They help you update your CV, LinkedIn and GitHub profiles, prepare for the tech interviews, and provide a ton of other useful resources for you to be able to land your first job in tech.
Another biggest advantage of Le Wagon is its 20K alumni network. A lot of people are super engaged and supportive and it feels like I got an incredible chance to have access to this crowd.
Overall, highly recommend. -

Expesive, but worth it!
Although it may be expensive, the value of the experience is immeasurable. The investment is directly proportional to the positive experience I had. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with what I have learned. The only thing I expected more of was support during the job-searching process. For that reason, I'd rate it 8 out of 10. Thank you to all involved. -

I recently had the opportunity to participate in the Data Analytics Bootcamp offered by Le Wagon, and I must say it was an exceptional learning experience. Over the course of the intensive program, I gained valuable insights into the world of data analytics and acquired practical skills that have proven to be immensely beneficial in my career.
One of the aspects that impressed me the most about the bootcamp was the comprehensive curriculum. The instructors at Le Wagon have designed a well-structured program that covers all the essential concepts of data analytics, from data manipulation and visualization to machine learning and statistical analysis. The curriculum strikes a perfect balance between theoretical knowledge and hands-on practice, ensuring that students grasp the core concepts while simultaneously applying them to real-world projects.
Moreover, the teaching methodology at Le Wagon is truly commendable. The instructors are not only highly knowledgeable but also incredibly supportive and approachable. They fostered a collaborative learning environment, encouraging active participation and providing timely feedback. The combination of lectures, coding exercises, and group projects allowed me to reinforce my understanding and develop problem-solving skills.
Another standout feature of the bootcamp is the strong sense of community. Le Wagon brings together a diverse group of individuals with different backgrounds and experiences, all united by their passion for data analytics. The collaborative nature of the program promotes networking, knowledge sharing, and collaboration, which greatly enhances the learning experience.
Finally, the post-bootcamp support provided by Le Wagon is exceptional. The alumni network and job placement assistance helped me connect with industry professionals and discover exciting career opportunities.
In conclusion, I highly recommend Le Wagon's Data Analytics Bootcamp to anyone interested in pursuing a career in data analytics. The program offers a comprehensive curriculum, outstanding teaching methodology, a vibrant community, and excellent post-bootcamp support. It is an investment that will undoubtedly accelerate your professional growth in the field of data analytics. -

GIGABASED, INNOVATIVE AND AND THOROUGH
THE BOOTCAMP ITSELF AND MOST OF THE TEACHERS WERE VERY GIGABASED. Most of the teachers explained old and novel concepts very well and when you were very stuck, pointed you in the right direction. Contrary to what negative Redditors said about the bootcamp I found NOTHING WRONG with them. Muh poor teaching! Muh teachers have no experience! -

The most rewarding rollercoaster
The nine weeks, though incredibly intense and challenging, is very well structured. Between the daily challenges and help of your fellow classmates, and TAs, you don't realize how much you've learned along the way until you get to the final projects. Amazing experience! -

I liked how light and welcoming the atmosphere was. And also how throughout the process everyone was very accessible. I really enjoyed the sense of community I felt during bootcamp. It was a life-changing experience in terms of learning how to code and soft skills. The english course is a must, helps a lot people how don`t have much use of it in the daily basis. In terms of people and community, I don't think I've ever been so welcomed so fast anywhere. I met some amazing people and I will definitely keep in touch with everyone.About the Le Wagon staff, I will just say that each one of them has a special place in my construction as a web developer, as a professional and personally as well. I have complete confidence in throwing myself into this career transition thanks to them.

Intense and interesting bootcamp to open up new horizons and learn quickly basics of coding
the main perks of this bootcamp : a short but intense training path, with good tools (you can improve your code et review lessons after the training), an operationnal and "learning by doing" training, a big community of alumni (always kind and available). Prefer the pretential training if your are starting coder. -

I miss it already. The 9 weeks of intense bootcamp learning data science have been amazing. Really good (fast) pace, with many topic thought in the morning and challenges solved during the day. I cannot believe how much coding have I learning during such a short time. I got better and have noticed that I making step changes in my knowledge appr. every 3 weeks. the final project weeks are incredible where you see how much you know already and can apply the comprehensive knowledge in "real case" environment which is quite different from well defined challenges that help you learn one specific topic. I can recommend this to anyone who wants to learn coding in Python and related libraries to do data analysis, decision science, ML/DL (machine and deep learning models) and be job ready after 9 weeks. -

Very good bootcamp
The bootcamp is very good overall. It's intensive and requires 100% application. It gives you a solid grounding, especially in ruby on rails. Find out before you do the bootcamp to make sure that the languages you'll be learning are what you're looking for, and if that's the case, I'd recommend it! -

Awesome experience
Intense, awesome, and highly educational. I enjoyed the last few weeks the most, where we got to develop apps based on our own ideas. The ability to craft something from scratch to production was a great learning experience, and provided a lot of insight into what it takes to create an app. While intense, those few weeks were incredibly fun for me. -
