I recently had the privilege of participating in the "Data Science and Machine Learning: Making Data-Driven Decisions" course offered from July 2022 to November 2022. I can honestly say that this experience has been nothing short of exceptional, leaving me with newfound knowledge, skills, and an appreciation for the field of data science and machine learning.
Right from the beginning, it was evident that the course was thoughtfully designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of data science concepts and their practical applications. The course material was meticulously curated, ensuring that even complex topics were broken down into easily digestible modules. Each module built upon the previous one, allowing for a steady and logical progression of learning.
However, what truly sets this course apart is the incredible support provided by the Great learning support team. In particular, I would like to express my utmost gratitude to Priya, the training coordinator, who went above and beyond to ensure that my learning journey was smooth and fulfilling. Her dedication, responsiveness, and willingness to assist with any challenges I encountered were truly remarkable. Her guidance played a pivotal role in helping me complete the course successfully.
The professors leading the course were equally impressive. Their patience and attention to detail in explaining complex concepts made even the most intricate algorithms and models seem approachable. The balance between theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical assignments was spot on, allowing me to not only grasp the theory but also apply it in real-world scenarios.
The course structure incorporated various projects and assessments that challenged me to apply what I had learned. The program was very good. I had no prior knowledge of data science, and in the beginning, I found it difficult. However, as the program progressed, I began to understand the subject better. Due to my limited time, I was unable to complete all of the practice materials, but I will do so in the future. I believe that practice is essential for gaining a deeper understanding of any subject. The program is well-structured, and it includes case studies, projects, live lectures, recorded lectures, and, most importantly, mentoring sessions. The support is excellent, and the mentors are very helpful. I am very glad that I took this program. There were a few lectures that I did not understand, but there are multiple ways to learn the material. I found that reading the pre-class material, watching the lectures, and then practicing was the most effective way for me to learn.Great Learning of Great Learning

I have successfully completed the 'Data Science and Machine Learning: Making Data-Driven Decisions', the 12 weeks intensive course with "MIT and Great Learning”. Since I enrolled at the last moment, it was a little hectic until week-3 as back to back test and project submission etc., may be due to poor planning. Thereafter it was an excellent and truly amazing journey.
Online video lectures by MIT Professors are awesome, Course materials - essential contents designed to cover the key points with comprehensive explanation of basic fundamentals and optional contents as additional materials designed cover much deeper - are excellent.
On top of that, weekend mentoring sessions by Osama are excellent and much interactive with clearing all doubts.
Course coordinator Glory is awesome and her coordination among the cohort members are outstanding.
Overall It was truly an impressive intensive training program and I really had a great learning experience.

I am undergoing Product management program with Great learning, Course materials are good, but the program is totally mismanaged with rude program managers and want us to do capstone project just or sake of completing the course. Great Learning employs 'Dark patterns' tactics on its online platform to manipulate consumers. These patterns include creating a false sense of urgency, nagging and shaming, filling out detailed application forms to signify exclusivity in admissions, cancellation fees if you find the course worthless.
The courses are pre-recorded and can be played anytime with no intervention from the faculty, even though the course starts a few months from today the website will tell you that the last day of registration if 4 days from the current date, the company employs so called “industry experts” to guide you in sessions each week and the quality of these experts is not guaranteed and they are in no way related to the prestigious Ivy league institutions from which these courses are said to have been created by, exorbitant cancellation fees and no-refunds if you find the courses sub-par or useless, they will call your phone number incessantly at all times of day with no sense of time from India, if you ask them too many questions they will cancel your application and deem you as “unworthy” to pursue the self-proclaimed excellent course they have created.

I entered the Data Science Program with prior coding and data science experience, although my last formal educational exposure was six years ago.The data science field has significantly advanced over those years. I did not know Python. This MIT|Great Learning Data Science Program systematically taught Python and data science tools built into the Python language. The data science tools plus essential theoretical background material are thoroughly explained. Both lecture material and coding examples are provided. The program includes Zoom lectures for large audiences and Zoom mentored learning sessions for small groups of students. Slack-based communications between students, mentors and program managers is useful for getting questions answered and coordinating the program.
Nitish, the program manager for my cohort, was excellent.

I just finished the Data Science and Machine Learning program with MIT and Great Learning.It was a great experience and I learned a lot during these 12 weeks. The program was very well structured, really broad, intense and challenging. With the commitment to excellence from the MIT faculty, the support of the learning team and mentors and learners dedication it created a memorable and impactful learning experience.
The Program Manager plays a big part in this as this requires a lot of support, communication and guidance. I finished Data Science and Machine Learning course with MIT and Great Learning recently.
The learning journey was really amazing. It was a combination of recorded lectures and Instructor-led mentoring sessions which you can learn on your own time and at the same time got your questions answered by the instructors during the mentoring sessions.
I really like how the lectures were planned and organized where there are tests after each lesson to enhance and strengthen my learning.
Also, the list of projects equipped me with the skills for the real-life activities. Excellent learning experience!

I have completed the MIT Great Learning "Applied Data Science" degree program. This was an accelerated program that taught concepts and hands-on learning for multiple topics required. These ranged from Statistics, Probability, Supervised & Unsupervised Machine Learning, as well as Neural Networks. We used actual datasets and python coding to complete all of the various course exercises. The lectures and mentoring sessions were led by MIT instructors and the program was managed and supported by Great Learning. Together they made a great team to guide and support us throughout the journey. The Program Manager in particular assigned to our cohort was also extremely helpful and responsive for any questions or needs. I finished Applied Data Science course with MIT and Great Learning. It really was a great learning Experience! The journey wasn’t easy as I needed to juggle my full time job and the course. However the course is well designed and teaches you the concepts and how to apply them step by step, in addition, the Great learning team gave me all the support I needed.

I applied to this course in December, it started in March with 2 months of opportunity to do some pre-work, so It's basically starting in January. It involves a mix of videos, zoom calls, web tests, and python notebooks for some exercises. One of the nicest things about it is the mentored learning sessions involve experts in the field and it feels very privileged to receive their instructions and ask questions. It is at a fast pace but generally flexible. It covers a wide variety of topics and narrow in your focus as you go which I think is a good way to do it. I also found the instructors and managers to be very nice and have no complaints really.Great Learning of Great Learning

The Applied Data Science program, with MIT and Great Learning, was a truly fantastic experience. Beautifully organized, a width and breadth of material in statistics, with a good grounding education in Python - having had no experience in coding/programming, I walk away comfortable in it like I could not have imagined. The faculty and their lectures were superb and thorough. Rishi Shankar, my program manager, was a jewel. Always responsive and considerate, very thorough, and a pleasure to interact with. I cannot recommend this program enough. Great Learning might be damn expensive, it might be damn remote, but let me tell you, every damn piece of information you're gonna get is top-notch.
The quality of the professors' expertise will help you grow professionally by tackling complex concepts and showing you how to solve typical problems you'll face within data sets. However, if you're afraid of a change in your salary and professional growth, if you're intimidated by technology, if you're not a creative problem solver, if you're not willing to continuously learn, and if it's not your passion... then Great Learning might not be the right choice for you as it would be a waste of money.

My overall learning experience was wonderful! The program I attended was the Data Science and Machine Learning: Making Data-Driven Decisions program. From this program I was able to learn how to make sense of unstructured data and the hands on process in creating models with different functions. My experience with Great Learning was incredible. I was kind of skeptical when I started a fully online program, thinking that I may not get the help that I need. It was an amazing experience with great learning while I was enrolled and continuing my study of MIT Applied Data Science Program 2023. I had similar experience with other learning platform but great learning was just outstanding. Everything was well organized and scheduled on time. MIT ADSP 2023 curriculum was excellent, MIT professors and menors were just perfect. Great learning management and support team were promt and super responsive. As a seasoned IT professional I would strongly recommend this program for anybody who is interested about data science/AI/ML/DL. Study materials were super clear and high quality, projects , case studies were super helpful to get the real hands on experience with Data science tools. Irecently graduated from the Applied Data Science program and I think is the right program if you are willing to know more about analyzing data and AI. From the start, I felt the support from the team when I had additional doubts about an specific topic, so you will be able to navigate the program with all the tools that you need.
The course started with the basics in Python and Statistics, and then you go deeper into Machine learning, Deep learning, among other topics, so you gradually understand which tools you need to use depending on the project that you are facing.
Overall, I highly recommend this program to anyone interested in pursuing a career in data science or expanding their knowledge in this field. The support is something really outstanding and all the sessions are really fruitful and you can notice instantly where to apply the tools/topics.Great Learning of Great Learning
