I just finished the Applied Data Science Program with Great Learning, which was offered in partnership with MIT Professional Education. We had lectures from incredibly distinguished professors from MIT, and great sessions over the week-ends with a mentor, professional in the industry, clarifying the concepts and dispensing helpful tips. The curriculum is very well curated to bring the most relevant content within a tightly operated schedule. Our program manager was kind, enthusiastic and very responsive, and she kept me going at a time when I felt overwhelmed with professional and family obligations. Great learning also has a wonderful dashboard for navigating course content, milestones, career, and community building.
I am very impressed with the education received, as well as the opportunities for networking with peers. We are concluding the bootcamp with an optional hackathon - which turns out to be quite fun!Great Learning of Great Learning

I had the pleasure of enrolling in the 12-week Applied Data Science Program offered by Great Learning. It was well worth the money and time I put into the program and I am extremely glad I took part in this program.
When I joined the program, I had no prior knowledge of computer programming or Python. 12 weeks later, I have a strong foundation into the principles of basic data science and I am interested in continuing education into the field of data science. This is because Great Learning did a great job teaching the most essential information about data science and making it easy to understand for a beginner like me to quickly learn as much as I can in this field. Great Learning had great teaching methods, such as video tutorials, video lectures taught by world-class professors in the field, and summarized information from the video lectures. This made it easy for me to quickly learn the essential information about data science in a short amount of time. Furthermore, there was help available 24/7 if I needed it. All we had to do to request help was to submit a query and the instructor would respond promptly to our message within 24 hours. All the opportunities that Great Learning gave to help me when I had questions made it easy for a beginner like me to quickly learn in the field of data science.
My program manager Rama Garg also did a great job as a program manager. She was always helping me when I had questions about what we learned in data science. Her class lectures were very helpful and she clearly and concisely explained the information we had to learn. She was very prompt in getting back to me when I submitted an online query for help. Her teaching methods were easy to understand so I felt I could follow along and learn quickly in the field of data science.
Even though many students do struggle to learn in online programs where communication can be limited due to lack of face-to-face interaction, I felt that Great Learning as an online program did a terrific job helping me learn quickly than most face-to-face/in class building programs have. The helpfulness and timeliness of the staff in answering support queries, multiple learning methods such as video tutorials, summarized information from lectures, practice quizzes, etc., and the mentored learning sessions took the hurdles of online education away and helped a beginner into data science like me learn a lot in a short amount of time. I feel more confident into the field of data science and feel I can learn at a much more advanced level now. Thank you Great Learning!Great Learning of Great Learning

While starting the course, since I am passionate about programming, acquired python skills easily, but I was really hesitant about statistics since I learnt statistics during my college days. But I got confidence by going through Great Learning's Pre course content.
Since I have been working, it was hard to join my weekdays professor sessions, but since it was recorded, I watched those during my nighttime, and I love instructors weekend sessions where I gained lots of knowledge about those weekly taught concepts.
During the course of learning, my mind started to relate to my work-related stuff which was a great feeling. I learnt more deeper while doing assessments, case studies, and projects. This is fast paced course for sure, hence by allocating minimum 10 hours per week for learning will help to understand and experience better.
When I compare myself before and after the course, now I am able to understand and apply any data science related articles and the code content. I am so glad that I participated this program and gained data science knowledge. Greatly appreciate Professors, Instructors, and the people who furnished the course content, assessment, case study and projects. Thoroughly enjoyed this program and highly recommend to everyone who is ready to acquire data science course with commitment.Great Learning of Great Learning

I really enjoyed taking the course of applied data science with great learning and mit. Rama was such a great help during all course phases. What i really liked the most is the focus on actual fun learning by the provider. Although the content wasn't as easy but it was really fun. I had the pleasure undertaking the learning journey of the 12-week Advanced Data Science Program held by Great Learning from Jan 2023 to April 2023.
After being a software engineer for more than 20 years, I decided to try something new explore the great world of machine learning.
When I started this program, I was baffled and perplexed about how I would get through so much content in such a short time. However, the instructors, as well as the program managers made this program very viable with online recorded sessions , direct email and forum help and also a well design website which helps you correctly navigate the program as you progress from week to week.

Being at the ML AI MIT training course with Great-Learning has been one of the most enriching and challenging learning endeavors that I have come to experience. From day -1 (Pre-Training) to the very last day I was inspired to learn more and more, to achieve more and more, to think more and more and to answer questions that I did not know existed before. I have 20+ years of professional experience and I thought I have seen most of what it was, wrong that I was, I fount Machine Learning, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence horizons beyond the limits I would have initially imagined.

Great Learning and MIT IDSS have collaborated to produce an excellent program.
The Data Science and Machine Learning: Making Data-Driven Decisions program is the result of a collaboration between Great Learning and the MIT Institute for Data, Systems, and Society. The program is exceptional. It is well organized and managed. Each cohort has a PM (Vineet Mishra for our group) who is there to help, whatever the question or issue. This is one part of a support system that is there to make sure the learners have the best chance for success. The program mentors (Nirupam Sharma for us) provided detailed sessions explaining the background, theory and hands-on applications of various topics. Leading to the mentoring sessions the learners can review video lectures from the world class faculty at MIT and work through hands-on assignments. The topics are wide-ranging and treated with a good balance of conceptual background, theory and applications. And, there were guest lectures, curated lists articles of interest in the industry, and more.
I personally had a great experience. The program provided me with important and substantive content in areas that were familiar to me as well as several all together new concepts and topics. My hope is that this certification will tip the balance in favor of some hiring manager giving me a chance for that dream job and a meaningful career in data sciences and machine learning.
I whole-heartedly recommend this program. Regardless of your background, if this is an area of interest then take a look at the program offering and consider it.Great Learning of Great Learning

I recently completed 12 weeks Advanced Data Science Program with MIT and Great Learning batch September 2022. Initially when I applied for this course I was not sure how I will find time to study and at the same time to manage my full time work and family. I must say this course is designed and delivered exceptionally good. It is very interactive program, faculty and staff members are super helpful. Specially my program manager Shruti Gupta provided me the needed guidance. This bootcamp was a great experience. I like to tell people that if I had to do it again, I would. I joined the bootcamp without any prior data scientists experience, other than my bachelors degree in applied mathematics. The program allowed me to refresh my math skills, and learn Python. To be more specific, the following topics were covered: Foundation for Data Science, Data analysis and visualization, practical data science, deep learning, recommendation systems and Machine learning. To start I was unsure I would be able to balance work and the work load of this program. After diving in and giving 110% I found myself giving my final presentation- it was a great challenge to take on! This is a great program if you want to learn applied data science in depth. This course provided the foundational knowledge on a wide breadth of subjects and techniques, as well as the tools and hands-on experience to demystify these techniques. Not only does the course walk you through the background and theory, it also provide you with coding templates and hands-on instruction to help apply what you're learning in real-world contexts. The course covers a vast array of subjects in a short amount of time so the pace can be a bit break-neck (and certain subjects, such as NLP, aren't covered due to time limitations), but I received tremendous support from my program manager (Miriam!) to stay on track and excel.Great Learning of Great Learning

The whole program was well planned, the learning platform (website) was very easy to navigate, complete and very helpful. The professor are very much not only experts in their fields but also very much approachable, the mentors are also very accomodating and understanding in ensuring that we all understand what needs to be understood, and most of all the program managers really guided us and supported us all through out the program in order to complete the program successfully.

This course covers a lot in Data Science and Machine Learning, such as unstructured data, regression, prediction, recommendation, deep learning and etc. Each section is taught by different instructor, and their style varies, I like some, but some could be boring. I like the practice case study which you can fill in the blank and learning while most of script is ready (it’s good for a short course like this), and I also like the quiz that it actually tests your concept by twisting the question instead of a sentence directly from the course. I wish the all sections provide more study case and samples, hands-on is always the easiest way to learn.

- I had an amazing experience with Great Learning on facilitating the MIT IDSS Data Science and Machine Learning program. This program is well designed with 8 modules from basic principles to advanced levels. There are eight to eleven learning instruments available in each module so that the students with different strengths can have relatively flexible and suitable forward paths to strive for success. I started this program as a beginner, with basic coding background though good math and statistics knowledge. With the help of Pre Work module and Foundations of Data Science, I have got myself prepared well for the journey of the subsequent modules of Data Science. Although I was too busy on daily work, I’ve successfully completed all mandatory modules and gone through the tests and projects thanks to the great mentorship and detailed instructions/leaning instruments.
- In a word, I would like to thank Great Learning for leading me to the wonderful world of Data Science and Machine Learning. By any chance. I would like to recommend this program to my friends and colleagues who are interested in data science. Especially, I would like to express my highest appreciation to Sarah, the program manager, for her timely assistance in scheduling my assignments.

This is a great program! It met my expectations and I have learnt a lot! The Olympus platform is very user-friendly and the lecture videos very useful! I joined this program with zero coding experience. I was hand held with well structured videos and intermittent feedbacks to learn how to code and then dive deeply into the data science and machine learning world. I have just completed "PG Program in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning" program offered by Great learnings in partnership with the University Of Texas at Austin / McCombs School of Business. At beginning, it looked exhaustive but the suggestion is to just commit for it not think soo much, the course is designed such that you get all the key concepts by going through self-paced learning materials. There is a weekend session with a mentor who further clears all the doubts. Overall Program focuses on hand-on exercises (projects) , case studies are very interesting as well. The program office of great learnings acts as a strong pillar to help you along the way and they are pretty much available 24x7. I got time to time help from the Program team on my questions and all administrative aspects. It was overall a wonderful experience for me, I not only learned new skills but also the ease of learning mattered to me a lot. I recently completed the "Data Science and Machine Learning: Making Data-Driven Decisions program by MIT IDSS" and I have to say that it was an incredible learning experience. The course material was well-organized and easy to follow, with a good mix of theory and practical exercises. The instructors were knowledgeable and always available to answer any questions I had. One of the things I appreciated most about the course was the variety of topics covered. From data cleaning and preprocessing to data visualization, classification, recommender systems, and networks, I felt like I gained a comprehensive understanding of the field. I also appreciated the real-world examples and case studies used throughout the course. It helped me see how the concepts I was learning could be applied in a practical setting and gave me a better understanding of the types of problems data scientists encounter on the job. Twinkle (the program manager) was always reachable to help me sort any issue I have had. Overall, I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to gain a solid foundation in the field. I enrolled with the Making Data-Driven Decisions program by MIT Institute for Data, Systems, and Society (IDSS) on Great Learning platform in the September 2022 Cohort.
Overall the course is updated and very suitable for working professionals, beginners wanting to venture into the new domain. The videos of training are from the top notch, first line, highly experienced executives of ML/DS domain. Top marks for the instructors whose videos forms the crux of the training for the entire course in addition to online weekly Live mentored learning sessions.
Being from a Chemical Engineering background, and having classical engineering job experience, I had almost no background on Statistics and Programming Languages. Post the course I have been equipped with skills, which I am applying to perform data analysis for our company (who sponsored the course) quite successfully to solve problems and get more insights to formulate further strategies.
I would also like to have a special mention of Mrs. Akshatha / Sandhya and also Senior Trainer Dr. Abhinanda Sarkar (Academic Director) who has been phenomenal in this journey of my training with their best abilities to contribute to my upskilling.

This course was fantastic, primarily due to the care and administrative acumen of the Great Learning staff. In particular, I would like to single out Priya Sunil, who went out of her way to address our questions. The responsiveness made a huge difference. The videos and mentors sessions were clear, instructive, and open to the dialogue with the learners. It has been a great learning experience through out the journey. The support, assistance, content, conceptual clarity provided is highly commendable. Especially patience from the instructors, while answering queries and providing detailed clarifications sometimes even multiple times 😬😬😬.

The program is robust, challenging and interesting at the same time. The course content is well- design and developed by top experts/ Data scientists in the field to accommodate new persons in Data Science and Python like me. The Professors shared great content on their recorded sessions just as the Mentors provided support in understanding the concept by bringing on real live example and application of the various models through the live session. The program Manager Monika Bisht was amazing and supportive through out the program.
I strongly recommend to any one interested in pursuing Career in Data Science and Machine Learning as this the best learning experience I had. Thank you.

I was a little hesitant to start a online course but came across Great Learning and gave it a try. I was really surprised to have a great experience, the course was well structured giving both theory and practical knowledge which is important.
