Average Rating 4.82
156 Reviews 0 Courses

DevPoint Labs teaches an 11-week, full-time and an 11-week, part-time online full stack web development coding bootcamp. The bootcamp curriculum covers HTML, CSS, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, SQL, JavaScript, React, Redux, and more. DevPoint Labs' approach to learning combines pair programming with traditional lectures and a mix of group projects, lean methodologies, hackathons and one-on-one mentorship from instructors.

DevPoint Labs is aimed at students with little to moderate experience in web development. To apply, candidates fill out the short application on the website, then chat with a staff member about their motivations. Once accepted students will need to complete pre-work before the first day of class.

Leading up to graduation, DevPoint Labs prepares students for finding a job with mock interviews, workshops, guest speakers, and a Launch Day to showcase their projects to potential employers.

    Not worth the money

I attended the DevPoint Labs Part-Time bootcamp from Nov-Feb 2022. While I learned a great deal about React.js and how to build a site, I have little knowledge about the basic concepts of what I'm actually doing. While the instructor will go through a...

    Hey Curly Fries,

We are sorry you feel that way about the cohort and your feelings of being unprepared for the tech world. We’d love to help see how we can assist you. As for all alumni, you are always welcome to sit in on classes and reviews anytime in the future. If that is something that is of interest to you. Please contact us and we can get you back into some of the lectures and courses to refresh reinforce the materials.

Lastly, if you have the time, we can also see how we can help with the more “career support”. We can have your resume reviewed along with other support where you might be lacking. We're here for ya so please reach out.

    Cheers!

DevPoint Labs Started My Coding Career

I went to DevPoint Labs in hopes of getting a career in dev. Now, less than a year later, I have a full-time job as a software developer for a company in Utah County.  Although I thought I could have learned how to code on my own, I certainly wouldn't...

    Excellent Bootcamp Value

I think what's important to remember with any bootcamp is that you really do need to be 100% committed to using this experience as a springboard to what you want to do. It will get you exposed to the material, but of course won't get you the job. If...
