Devmountain
Devmountain is a coding bootcamp that offers short, full-time in-person and online programs in Web Development, Software Quality Assurance (QA), Cybersecurity, and User Experience (UX) Design. The programs are designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in the tech industry. There is a Devmountain campus in Lehi, Utah for those who want to participate in-person. Devmountain's immersive courses require 40 hours of class per week, and 10-20 hours of work outside of the classroom. The part-time programs require 11 hours of class per week, and 10-20 hours of work outside of the classroom. The school was started in 2013 in Provo, Utah.
The Web Development track covers front-end and back-end engineering (JavaScript, HTML/CSS, AJAX, Axios, React, Bootstrap, Node.js, Express, and PostgreSQL). The User Experience course covers prototyping, visual/motion design, Figma, UX research, and wireframing. Devmountain instructors are all coding industry professionals and aim to bring real-world applications into the classroom.
Devmountain is beginner-friendly and no experience is necessary to apply. The first step to applying for Devmountain bootcamp is to check out the courses and start dates. Once the student has picked a course, they must submit an online application. Next, students speak with a member of the admissions team by phone to further discuss the program. After the phone call, students must complete a challenge to ensure the program is a good fit. Finally, the admissions team will notify students if they qualify for acceptance.

The best challenge ever!

I basically had to tell my friends that I didn't exist for three months, ignoring my phone for sometimes days at a time, and spending on average 10-12 hours a day at school.
If its sounds intense, and grueeling, and crazy unimaginably hard, it is. It is mind-blowingly difficult. The goal of DevMountain is to give you the skills to get a job when you graduate. And if you work as hard as you can, you will not be disappointed. Plan on a MINIMUM of 60 hours per week. If you can't do that, then a bootcamp probably isn't for you.
If you are going the bootcamp route, stop searching now and go with DevMountain. You can't beat the value you get for the money you pay. (Also, quit your job and do the immersive program, or save up until you can do that, it'll absolutely be worth it)

Accelerated Education
DevMountain offers an accelerated education one that cannot be found at most colleges or can be found after 4 painstaking years of education. This program wasn't easy by any means, however it was well worth the money. The ability to code is a remarkable trade that so few people know and can do. DevMountain gives you the tools to create incredible applications.

Challenging and fun
I had a lot of fun learning and exploring new topics about code and java that I had no idea existed. The projects weren't any challenge it was very thoroughly laid out for you and made the projects seem very simple because of how it was basically put together for you. I would have really liked a weekly test or a morning challenge to help me better understand the course material. Because of how the specs curriculum was laid out I had a lot of trouble with my capstone project compared to my foundations one. But overall the specs curriculum was fun I still learned a lot from the projects and how certain things are meant to be set up in the back end. Outdated Material but Instructors Helped
Foundations material was great and gained valuable experience there. In the iOS Specialty Section the material hadn't been updated in 4-6 years. Anyone who knows how Apple and their tech advances knows that's horrible. It was hard to follow along with videos when the functions they are using and the buttons they are clicking down exist anymore or were moved.

The material they updated to is current yes, BUT, it is watered down. The material, as I saw them updating it to, does not prepare you to enter the workforce as an iOS Developer. For that reason I would recommend a different bootcamp until Devmountain goes over that material several more times. (I graduated May 2023).

Intimating but fun
I should've started this years ago. I started off super scared and intimidated and ended up completing the courses feeling comfortable and confident. It was definitely hard and stressful but the teachers were all so supportive and helpful and tried to make it fun.
