I wholeheartedly recommend the Careerist Python/QA Test Automation course to anyone interested in skilling up! The course is definitely very technical in nature, but the instructors are knowledgeable and enjoy teaching. The materials are clear and you can review the class videos as many times as you need. The homework is challenging, but there are two assistants that you can ping on Slack anytime to get help. You are also placed on an internship project and get resume/Linkedin assistance and mock interview preparation. This course is the real deal. Careerist stands out from the crowd because the whole team seems genuinely invested in seeing you succeed. I am a graduate of the Manual QA course as well and had a similar experience. Go with Careerist, it worked for me and it will work for you too! -

I did my research while I was looking for a bootcamp to attend, Careerist always came up as one of the top. I decided to go with them because of the flexibility in payment. My experience thus far in Sales Engineering training has been a good one. Majority of the courses focus on the sales and soft skills needed in a Sales Engineering position. I already have a sales background and have a great understanding of these things so this training has been a breeze. I've truly picked the perfect field of study for me because, the main focus in this training comes to me so naturally!
I appreciate how open all of the instructors have been in sharing their experiences as Sales Engineers themselves. They have all been open and ready to answer any questions the class may have and even stay online longer than the allotted class time to make sure that we have a clear understanding of the lessons.
I graduate in 2 weeks and I feel confident that I will land the position I desire! -

I would say my overall experience attending Careerist boot camp has been great. Even when the assignments seem too difficult, there are always people available to help. The support from the Careerist team has been great. The instructor led lectures has been great as well. The instructors takes their time explaining the material and answering questions as they arise.

I enjoyed my QA Manual training with Careerist. There were various instructors teaching the lessons throughout the bootcamp. They make the lessons easy to understand and would answer our questions anytime we need additional clarifications on specific topics. After we graduated from the bootcamp, we are assigned to a mentor that will assist us with resume and job interview preparations, which I find very helpful. There is definitely a lot of value in this bootcamp. My overall experience has been great. -

I highly appreciate the manual QA course leadership. The instructions were easy to follow to accomplish all the tasks and our team leader Daria Harashchenko was there pretty much 24/7 to answer the questions and guide thru the tasks. It really helped to break an ice and boost my confidence as I haven't had any prior experience and now I feel capable and most important understand everything I've been told. -

I recently completed the manual QA engineer bootcamp and I have to say, it was an incredible experience. I was looking for a course that could provide a solid foundation and help me get started in this field. This bootcamp did just that and more. The course content was well-structured and covered everything from the basics of manual testing to more advanced topics like test automation. Instructors were knowledgeable and engaging, and I felt comfortable asking questions and seeking clarification whenever I needed it. I had a fantastic experience with this bootcamp. I had a really flexible schedule and was able to balance my day job and the internship with little to no hassle. Overall I really enjoyed my experience with Careerist. I work full-time during the day and needed courses that would be flexible enough to work around my schedule. The Careerist classes were 3 days a week and in the evenings, which worked perfectly for me. Also, each class is recorded, so its easy to watch the recorded classes if you miss a day. The instructors are all knowledgeable and good at explaining the material and answering questions students leave in the chat. The pre-internship and internship after passing the classes provide excellent real-world experience for what you will actually be doing on the job. After successfully completing the internships, you are assigned a mentor to assist with your resume, LinkedIn profile and job search, which is very helpful. The JAS (Job Application System) is semi-automated and comes in handy with applying for jobs. Unfortunately, the fully automated version is currently not available. It may possibly come back but I am not sure. The only minor complaint that I have is that you do not get any kind of certificate of completion from Careerist. That would be nice. But overall, for under $5,000, Careerist is a great option if you are looking to pivot into Tech without accumulating massive debt going to a traditional College or University. -

I purchased Manual QA course in July 2022, paid in full upfront. I didn't feel rushed or pressured by a salesperson. Course itself consists of 19 real-time lessons from different teachers. Some felt to me like they shouldn't be teaching, very monotonous and boring, but majority were great tutors, field pros with real experience, they were open to questions and feedback throughout the course. Overall the lessons part is pretty straightforward and simple, mostly theoretical, and few classes about field and interview preparation. Internship. After you are done with classes you are joining the internship, curated by QA Lead. I've had 4 of those projects, each one to two weeks long. Everyday you are joining stand-up zoom meetings, discussing your projects, homework etc. This is meant to imitate real life work, and I've got some useful hands-on experience on how to use QA instruments and what are some common techniques. Most of QA leads I've interacted with were wery responsive and helpful, some projects were a bit messy and disorganized.Mentorship. I gotta say, this is the part where I've learn the most. You can learn theory on Udemy or youtube, but no one will tell you as much as their mentors on how to pass the interview, how to behave, how to properly structure your resume and approach, and so many useful insights about the industry. It is definitely not easy to get a job, but if you put enough effort and follow their advises, you'll land one sooner or later. The course itself is not flawless, but mentorship is balancing out all the imperfections. I'm seeing tens of their graduated getting hired each month, so it is working! -

In general, the course of study was not bad. One inconvenience was this because of the time difference. The class ended too late because I had to get up for work at 3 am and the class ended at 11 рm. The teachers explained the topic quite well and in detail, and then checked the work done, correcting mistakes and guiding them in the right direction. -

Coming into these courses I was skeptical, because I tried many other courses that made a whole list of promises but in the end never met any of them. The biggest thing I learned about this school is that they deliver what they promise. The lessons are easy to understand, the teachers answer any questions you may have, in fact they encourage it. At the end of the course they help you with building résumés and LinkedIn account so you’d have the best chance of finding a job. I’m extremely happy I went with careerist and would recommend everyone to attend 10/10 -

I had the best experience while attending the school. I was going back-and-forth about entering in a Boot Camp. However, I’m glad I made a decision to go with my selection. They offer a lot of things that I didn’t see from other boot camps. They provide job search assistance, a mentorship an internship and more things that propel you forward in the new career that you are pursuing. I couldn’t say enough about the great things that they provide not to mention the curriculum was easy to follow while being challenging as well. -

I came across Careerist in 2019 but I did not join the bootcamp then. Then in 2021, I came across a Careerist ad on Facebook and joined right away. The trainers all work in the industry (many different courses are offered) so they share real life experiences. The classes are live and the live classes are recorded and available for all students, especially those who cannot join a live class and those who want to review the material later. Internship then follows after completing the course in order to gain first hand experience in the chosen career field. Finally, a mentor is assigned to every student, interview prep, LinkedIn prep and resume prep is provided. All the mentors are very knowledgeable in one's field of study. Tips on how to maximize chances of landing an interview for job seekers is provided. Job applicants can opt to use Job Application Services, if they prefer to pay for the course over time after landing a job. Continuous dedicated support is provided by a team that answers all the questions that job applicants may have as they interview for positions. This support is still available even after landing a job.
The training provided is so good that when I landed a job after the training, the recruiter bumped my pay in the very first interview that I had with her. I later discovered that that was the top pay for the position.
I recommend Careerist to anyone looking for training that is provided by a dedicated team that wants you to succeed and one that walks with you, hand in hand, until you land a job and after. Careerist changed my life. -

I recently attended a this boot camp and I can confidently say that it was one of the best decisions I've ever made for my career. From start to finish, the boot camp exceeded my expectations in every way.

I have finished the course work, and internships. Staff are pleasant, helpful, and don’t make you feel like your dumb. I love the the class is recorded so that you can always go back to it. I hate that my class was so big though it was over 100 ppl. The internship was ok. I wish I had more problem solving situations but I did learn a lot and meant great people. I am now at the mentor stage and soon onto my new job.
