I did not know that my life was about to change the way it did. It was a GREAT experience, I learned a lot, more than I could learn by myself. I applied for the full-time Full Stack Web Dev program, and now after finishing the program I can confidently say that I feel developed a valuable skillset, and not just that, now my network in the Tech scene is growing so fast, and it makes me feel that I'm in the right place.

The support that I'm getting from the Wyncode team its just amazing and it is for life, and that's simply great.

The program is super organized, every Wyncode member is commited to help you and push you out of your comfort zone. 

And of course, if you are reading this, like I was doing a few months back... The job?
I got an paid internship at this known company here in Miami, there's other people finding jobs already or getting interviews. 

They don't guarantee you a job, but let's be honest you gotta put the hard work, that's not their responsability, but it is importat to highlight that they give you all the tools and all the support that you may need, and they go extra mile with this.

Just gratuated from cohort 35. Wyncode is an excellent place to learn how to become a full-stack web developer. The instructor level of knowledge is superb. The TA are always there to help you. Even for those programmers how are self-taugh, Wyncode will help you become a much much better programmer.

I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to pursue product management or is just looking to refine their skills in business strategy and thinking. 

The flow of the course was well structured, and there were a lot of real-world examples to compare the frameworks to. I specifically found the in-class project a very useful way to apply the frameworks in a practical way.

In addition to learning all the tools and steps to bring a product (physical, or tech) to market, a lot of these tools are also applicable to strategic thinking to all types of business. The tools and insights gave me a fresh perspective on our customer profiles, our strategic offering, the SWOT and risk analysis of the future of our business and more. It was also really valuable to see how other people used these tools to apply to their product, and to learn from both our instructor and the people in the class.

The instructors were very experienced, had a clear course syllabus with an intuitive flow, and the custom platform Brainstation has implemented made it easy to follow along with the lecture material, find extra supportive materials, and to submit projects. 

I would recommend this course to anyone- as there is something applicable for all.

I have been hearing a ton about AI in the media and felt it was important to understand it at a deeper level. Having never written a line of code, I knew it would be a challenge for me but felt with the right instructor I could learn. After searching through many different schools in Toronto I finally chose Brainstation. I did the once a week Saturday full day courses and the instructor (Casey) was amazing. The course covered a very wide variety of topics including Neural networks, Gradient Descent, NLP and Random Forest Models. I appreciate the depth of the course and the hands on nature of it. What was amazing is Casey's insights into how Machine Learning works in a corporate setting and laying out very practical applications for it as well as career strategies. The learning systems Brainstation use (Synapse) are very comprehensive and  taff would respond to queries ASAP. By the end of the course I was able to make a machine learning/ Artificial Neural Network model to predict California real estate prices. It was definitely challenging but taking this course was the best decision I made. Highly highly recommend taking the leap, even if you are a NEWBIE like me:)

It was an excellent program to jump-start your data science curiosity. I took the Data Science program and was introduced with many methods. Although each method was kind of brief, they should suffice in preparing you for further self-study after the course is done. I would say the notes (they call it labs) are amazing. They have many of case studies. Although they are not a complete manuals themselves, they are engaging to read through examples than reading based on solely the Python manuals. I signed up for an online course elsewhere and all I had for the second week were two links to Python documentation websites. My advice is to take the DS course at BrainStation with the expectation that you will keep learning after the course. It was great to learn a lot within 12 weeks while making new friends with various backgrounds.

I attended BrainStation UX Design 5-week classroom certificate course. My trainer was Gerard and he had a tremendous industry experience. Since it was a UX Design course, my trainer focused on understanding the process of UX design. His intent, for us as student, was to make us aware about what are the steps of UX design and then follow them in order to arrive at the final design. The course objective was not to make us learn a particular tool but to know the process and that's how my trainer approached the class. 

During the class, I interacted with my cohort students an learnt a lot from them. Since the project was individually driven, students in the class helped out in refining the user interviews, intevriew script, initial testing etc. 

Course curriculum was apptly designed and being hands-on in learning made me understand lot of concepts which I will remember for life.

I will surely recommend this course to aspiring UX students. 

i just recently finished the online live Product Management course and I learned a tremendous amount about how to take a product idea from just a concept to launch. At first, I was skeptical about the online live classroom setting, but it was actually a great experience! The instructor, Ari, was very engaging and he was very straight forward. He taught the content very well and he was willing to take the time to discuss questions or ideas outside of class privately. 

I also really enjoyed all the group discussions/activities and it was a way for all the students to learn about each other’s ideas and provide feedback.

I would definitetly recommend this class or any BrainStation class to anyone looking into taking one!

I just recently finished the User Experience Full time diploma course at BrainStation last summer 2019 and to sum it up in one sentence “one of the best experiences ever!!” 

Just for some background, I took the course during the summer before my last year of University and I could not be happier that I took the opportunity to join BrainStation. The whole experience definitely gave me the foundation and understanding of UX design which I was not able to learn in my traditional university schooling. Also they were able to emphasize the right design thinking principles that employers are looking for during interviews and employment. I definitely feel much more confident in my skills and in my ability to find a job after I graduate university. The instructors were definitely what made the course what it is. Our lead instructor, Brad, was amazing and it was obvious he had a lot of experience in the field so we definitely knew that all his advice would be applicable to real world settings. Also our TA Denise was also very knowledgable in UX and had a lot of experience. She was very helpful when we had blockers and everything.

Overall, i would definitely recommend this course to whoever is considering moving into the UX field. Great community and great instructors! 

I recently completed the Digital Marketing course at Brainstation in Toronto. Wow. I will be candid when many colleagues and friends told me not to take a course at Brainstation, but rather to use free online learning tools. As a diehard classroom nerd, I am very satisfied with my choice to take the plunge and go to Brainstation. The course material was invaluable and the accelerated format really immersed you in the subject matter. The most valuable aspect for me was expanding my network with other digital marketers and entrepreneurs. Meeting people face to face at Brainstation is exactly why you should go to Brainstation. Many of us in the classroom were starting our own business, expanding our clientele and knowledge or hoping to be digital marketers. I made incredible connections which I know will fuel future success. I would recommend Brainstation to anyone, and I am hoping to do another course soon! 

I was looking for something to take me to the next level in my professional skill set, and the 12-week Full-time Web Development Diploma Program with BrainStation did that, and so much more.

Honestly, you still couldn’t wipe the grin off of my face from this recent experience!

The instructors and staff at BrainStation go over and above in presenting you with real world experience, while of course helping you learn all the fundamental skills required as to current industry standards. At the beginning, they don’t pull any punches in terms of laying out the emotional journey all students will go through as it is an intensive course, but immediately you feel their support. You can really tell how much it matters to them that you, as a student, get everything possible from the chosen program, and have bunch of fun while doing so.

My biggest take away from the Web Dev program were that I learned a lot of the ‘whys’ that come with development… “Why doesn’t it work?”… “Why DOES it work?”… “Why do we do it this way?”, and so on. These questions had hindered me in past and held me back in many ways. Now, not only were they made clear, but also I learned how to break down and answer ‘whys’ for myself. This always makes me think of this old piece of proverbial wisdom:

“Give a person a fish, and you feed them for a day. Teach a person to fish, and you feed them for a lifetime.”

Well, I have to tell you, I sure enjoyed my fishing lesson! ;)

BrainStation is an amazing place to learn. It is not just for people who are looking for career transformation but for anyone who is passionate to learn on specific topics.

I took full time UX design diploma program in the summer of 2019 and I personally feel that this is how an education system should look like - it gives you hands on experience on projects (not just one but many). It prepares you for the real world and helps you to be industry ready. 

It is an intense program which requires only diligence and dedication from our part but then we don't have to push ourselves to learn hard. It happens naturally. That's how the lessons are structured. Every single step of the course is carefully thought out starting from a pack of business cards on day 1 at the campus to lesson plans, workshops, power hours, tech tours, hackathon and finally the fantastic demo day on the 12th week. Demo day gives you a chance to pitch your project to industry people and public. It opens a new door for a number of business contacts.

I really like that the educators are always available for questions, feedback or suggestions. They give us knowledge on plenty of resources out there related to the field.
 
I would highly recommend Brain Station to anyone who needs a boost of confidence in their career or simply thirst for knowledge.

I just completed the 2-day Search Engine Optimization Training course and overall was very satisfied with the experience.

Going into the course my goal was to learn a few quick SEO tips/tricks that I could apply to my own websites to help them rank higher on search engines. I ended up getting that and much more, including what SEO is actually about and a number of long-term strategies for optimizing my websites.

The course was taught by an SEO professional who knew his stuff very well and was able to articulate concepts clearly with real-life examples. He also provided us with a few great tools to see what people are searching for and to find potential SEO flaws with our websites.

My only criticism with the course (which is minor) is that not all of the curriculum was applicable to concepts I learned at a prior BrainStation course. The web dev course that I took last year taught students how to build React websites so I assumed the SEO course would have been geared more towards those types of websites. Despite not focusing on React websites many of the tips and tools learned could still be applied so the course was still effective.

Overall, I found the course to be beneficial and would recommend it to friends and colleagues.

This was a 2 day online intensive SEO course.  I am located on the Westcoast and the course was based out of Toronto and other than the early start in my day, I had never participated in an online live experience before.  With a little technical glitch at the beginning on my end, the instructor Trevor helped me to sort it out and I quickly got up to speed. 

I was probably one of the only non-digital or developer professional in the group and I found that with effort I was able to keep up and even produce a final project in the end.  It was likely a bit more intense for me because a lot of the material was fresh, but there was lots of support and all questions were answered clearly and thoughtfully.  Highly recommend for anyone who owns a website - even if outsourcing SEO.. Valuable. 

BrainsStation is high standards, high level training that prepares you for the real world. In line with mine, their primary objective is to get you ready to get a job in the field once the fast-track program is done.

I appreciate the intense, fast-paced and very dynamic (connecting with other programs and constant networking with industry professionals) method of training I was put through. I feel confident and ready for a professional role in my field now.

I came into this bootcamp nervous. With no background in design, I was sceptical about what I could learn in 3 months. I am happy to say after graduating and looking back, I have learned everything I hoped I would and more. I had the chance to gain first hand insight into what working in the industry looks like. Formed valuable relationships with my peers and instructors.   Met with professionals in the field and gained the confidence I need to begin pursuing opportunities in UX and putting myself out there. 

Overall, I enjoyed my experience as a Wyncode student. I greatly appreciated the tight-knit community and the support that was offered not only by my own classmates but also by the TAs, the other instructurs, and by students in other courses. The co-founders were very involved throughout this journey and I felt genuinely comfottable addressing them and other menbers of the administrative team.

One thing I do note is that this is a TRUE BOOTCAMP. Meaning no matter how well you may think you know the material, because of the work load and the amount of projects, assignments, networking events, break out sessions, personal tech ventures, etc., there will come a moment at one point or another when it all may feel overwhelming, when you have no time to mindlessly do nothing with friends and family, and when nothing makes sense. However, this is completely normal, and the few who have the drive to persevere will be greatly rewarded by potential employers, investors, and other prominent members of the tech comminity. 

There will be sleepless nights, most of your time will be spent at Wyncode (incliding nights and weekends), and your stress level and misery at the moment will drive you towards becoming closer to your peers than people would generally become with their classmates in traditional academic environments. We laughed together, literally cried together, and we often took care of eachother's children and pets while our classmates interviewed and presented. At Wyncode, you truly gain a new family and set of friends from backgrounds you never thought you'd have the opportunity to know so well. 

The incredibly rich variety of content presented is both challenging and prepared me to better understand and learn other concepts and languages that were not part of the curriculum. They provide a complex structure of learning material and when presenting it, they ensure everyone understands what's going in; no one gets left behind. I feel a part of my academic curiosity was unlocked in a field area I never expected to be so interested in. 

Again, my experience at Wyncode was far greater and more rewarding than what I had at any other higher education institution. I highly reccomend it, and I support their goals, vision, and methods of execution 100%!
