We learned how to be effective with time. Focus on small steps in order to grow. The help you receive from the instructors is incredible because they really know what they are doing. They become mentors. It also allowed me to create relationships with peolpe i would have not crossed paths with that have been life changing. So overall it was more than just going through a coding bootcamp there is so much value in what they do. Wyntalent has alot of tools in order to set you up for success with the job market.

I’m not going to lie, it is intense and requires full-time dedication, but you will learn so much if you put the effort in! The biggest pluses for me were the multitude of projects, the variety of software used, and the opportunities to collaborate with the web dev cohort. You will also have various design assets to feature in your portfolio––which will be your own branded website, not a blog post.
As for the Wyncode team, they're all exceptional. They really care about supporting their students during the course and alumni after the course is complete. They really focus on providing guest speakers, networking events, job hunt support, resume reviewing, weekly job support meetups, interview practice, and even strategic introductions to their large network of hiring partners.
Last, but not least, the instructor, Gessica was amazing! I can’t imagine someone else doing a better job. She is extremely experienced, so when she teaches, it seems very natural and easy to follow. She was also very supportive and gave great and honest feedback, which is very important for growth. It's bittersweet moving on because Gessica is a great mentor and someone we all look up to.
Overall, I’m proud to say I am a Wyncode UX/UI Immersive graduate. Thank you Wyncode

The course covered a wide range of topics, from creating compelling ads and copy to measuring campaign success. I felt the number of topics covered throughout the course was appropriate for the number of hours spent in class - it was fast-paced, yet allowed enough time to fully grasp and understand the concepts.
I loved receiving real-time feedback from the very knowledgeable and experienced instructor Di, as well as from my classmates. I also enjoyed the in-class exercises, and found the final project to be a valuable culmination of the lessons taught throughout the course. I highly recommend this course for anyone looking to gain a deeper understanding of Social Media Marketing and the strategy behind developing a successful campaign!

This course was a great foundation to all those who would like to learn more about or am looking at a career change into the field of analytics. It was interesting to hear all the real life examples shared by the instructors and classmates. There were also a lot of opportunities to gain hands on experience using SQL and Tableau.
Would recommend this course to all prospective students!

Walking into the campus fills you with energy, and every member of the staff is friendly, helpful, and accessible. From the time that you come into contact with the school and even far after graduation, they foster a sense of community and support that I have not experienced anywhere else.
Almost two years later and the Founders still remember me by a first name basis.
The program may be one of the most challenging things you do, especially if you don't have any prior experience or knowledge about the tech industry, but if you stick to the tools that they give you and trust the learning process, you are guaranteed to enjoy a great return on your investment before the first six months after you graduate.
The only reason that I didn't give "Job Assistance" a 5 star review is because when I graduated there were few avenues to explore Freelancing as a part of their program, but Wyncode has taken this into account and created new resources like Wyntalent to offset this.
The courses may seem expensive on first sight, but the value that you get from Wyncode extends so much more than just the course, the campus, and the resources. The program is an investment in your future: you will get out of it what you put into it, guaranteed. So if you're looking for that big break into tech, changing your career path, or just want to learn the art of code to make it a part of your skilset, Wyncode is the right place for you.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job support4.0Instructors5.0 -

The top factor for me is the professor, Gessica, who does an incredible job educating and supporting students. She's flexible in schedule, and responsive and adaptaive to the concerns and needs of her students. She's also makes it a fun time! I learned so much about UXUI and having the 3 projects to work through in the curriculum are great assests for your final portfolio when job searching. The Wyncode space itself is full of energy and fosters collaborations, community, and mentorship. One of the main reasons I came to Wyncode as opposed to any other bootcamp program was because of the down to earth and kind attitudes of the whole team! Not everything is perfect, but what matters at the end of the day is that they care and try to make changes based off of student responses, which is amazing as a place of education. I highly recommend!

Coming into the digital marketing course I already had some background knowledge on the core concepts but Shannon filled in all knowledge gaps I had. She is an amazing communicator and makes you feel comfortable asking questions you may not feel comfortable asking elsewhere. She did an amazing job engaging the classroom and starting conversations that I think were beneficial to everyone no matter the experience level. Is Shannon worth the cost of admission? The simple answer is yes. I will recommend her BrainStation class to anyone looking to learn more about digital marketing. She’s helped me feel empowered in my digital skill set in just four days. Excited to put everything learned into action and change directions in my career. She’s representing the BrainStation brand very well. Definitely a keeper. :)

Andy Woo and Keith Dell were fantastic instructors -- they were always engaging with a vast knowledge of product management, and used real world examples from their workplace or otherwise to explain concepts. Given that the course was a limited amount of time, I felt that the instructors spent the right amount of time and the concepts that mattered.
Our outside of class work was manageable and a great way to solidify content learned in class. We presented projects to the entire class which was a valuable learning experience. As all the students came from a variety of workplaces, it was interesting to get feedback from classmates as well.
Would highly recommend this course and others at BrainStation to my friends and colleagues.

The instructors use the curriculum to guide you through designing a paid campaign for social, step by step. There's so much more to it that Facebok and Instagram. The whole experience was really focused, starting with core marketing principals and then getting into the nitty-gritty of how to segment audiences, write great copy, choose imagery, and budget for the ad on all the different platforms. It was all reflected really well in the students' final presentations, which were all really on point and well done.

Overall I had an excellent experience from start to finish. BrainStation hires awesome people, their Admin Staff & Program Coordinators were very helpful, answering all the questions I had and following up with me promptly.
The instructors were also great. I really enjoyed learning from Scott and Nicholas. Their wealth of knowledge was very applicable and easy to follow. Both were eager to help and happy to support our learning. We covered a lot of material in just five short weeks including SEO, SEM, Social Media, Website Optimization.
In addition to this, I met a lot of great people from all walks of life. It was great to bounce ideas off each other and share experiences while learning new skills.

After 8 years in the industry, this was a great opportunity to give my skill set a boost. Would recommend.

I attended the Data Science Full-Time program for the Fall 2018 cohort at BrainStation (Toronto) and I had a great experience. Attending this program helped me puruse the career transition I was looking for: chemical engineer to data scientist.
Program pros/cons
The highlights for me included:
- Great teaching staff who motivated the students to learn
- Relavent course content which was based on what industry professionals use
- Campus tours/industry speakers that allowed us to gain insights into how Canadian companies are using data in their businesses
- Working on the capstone project for demo day
Some criticisms (which were pointed out to the staff after our cohort ended):
- Pacing for the lectures were imbalanced (some weeks were more heavy than others)
- A lot of time was spent trouble-shooting issues as opposed to lectures (why doesn't this SQL client work on my OS?)
- Career support/events (outside of industry speakers/campus tours) were lacking
Is this program right for you?
It depends. You could learn data science on your own with the content out there these days but it is a lot of information to learn on your own. At least at BrainStation it is somewhat guided learning that you can use as a basis to continue to grow yourself. For me, I spent usually 10+ hours/week outside of class learning on my own to reinforce the lectures and learn more about computer vision. You have to be a self-starter and be passionate about this field to make that career change.
Job prospects
After graduation, most of the interviews I had were with companies that came to Demo Day. Having that personal connection with the recruiters goes a long way in cementing your candidacy at a potential employer. For your projects, I suggest doing something that is interesting and challenging because that how I got people to talk to me.

If you are looking to gain a better understanding of UX Design and its fundamentals you will enjoy this course.
The Lead Instructor, Colette Di Bella, and the Teaching Assistant, Chloe Silver, were very knowledgeable, approachable and helped out both inside and outside of the classroom. It was also very interesting to hear both Colette and Chloe’s thoughts and opinions about the UX Design process because of the experience they both hold. Learning about the different websites and applications they use was also a great insight to have when going through my own project.
When I began this course, I wanted to learn more about the design process and the tools used within UX Design. I can confidently say that this course has helped me develop a better understanding of these 2 things. I learned how to use Moqups, POP, and InVision as well as how to go through the iterative design process. During class time, the mini group work sessions were really helpful because of the ability to talk problems through in a team environment and the chance to hear others thoughts and opinions.
I enjoyed being able to work on a project and go through the process first hand, which in return, helped me gain a better understanding of what UX Designers do. I very much liked seeing my project come together starting as just an idea and ending with a working prototype. Thank you BrainStation for allowing me the opportunity to further my education.
